Mumbai, April 20 - Marvel Studios' "Thor: Love And Thunder" first teaser was released on Monday (April 18) amid much anticipation and it got thundering applause from the Marvel fans around the world. The Taika Waititi-directed movie is touted to be one of the finest films in the MCU and audiences made sure they don't miss seeing a glimpse of it. ## The first teaser of Thor 4 garnered 209 million views in the first 24-hours, across all digital platforms. This puts the promo in the top tier of Marvel teaser/trailers for most views in a day. Among the ranking order, the teaser of Thor 4 is the 4th most viewed MCU teaser/trailer of all time, behind "Avengers: Infinity War" (230 million), "Avengers: Endgame" (289 million), and the leader "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (355.5 million) in the first 24-hours. ## Set after the events of "Avengers: Endgame", the movie also marks the return of Natali Portman to the MCU after 2013's Thor movie. This time, she is more powerful than ever. Los Angeles, April 16 - The ongoing legal battle between "Pirates of the Caribbean" star Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard has taken an interesting turn as Heard's former assistant Kate James has alleged that Heard's claims of physical abuse at the hands of Depp are false. ## Amber Heard is being sued by Johnny Depp, for $50 million, on allegations that she defamed him by describing herself as a "figure representing domestic violence" in a 2018 op-ed in the 'Washington Post'. ## Heard responded to the lawsuit by countersuing Depp and alleging that he physically assaulted her on 10 occasions throughout their relationship. The couple parted ways in 2016, after Heard filed for a protective order in court, with what appeared to be a bruise on her face.## In a prerecorded video presented by Depp's attorneys to the jurors, Kate James, who worked for Heard from 2012 to 2015, argued that she never witnessed Depp and Heard getting into verbal or physical altercations, nor did she notice any evidence of domestic violence during her regular visits to the couple's respective homes.## However, she said Heard did contact her in distress after arriving back at their home in Los Angeles after a private flight with Depp in May 2014. Los Angeles, April 11 - Paramount Pictures' "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" was on fire at the domestic (North America) box office, and powered to a massive $72 million 3-day opening weekend debut. The film beat industry projections and record the biggest video game movie opening of all time and second-biggest in 2022. ## Directed by Jeff Fowler, "Sonic 2" topped its predecessor, 2020's "Sonic the Hedgehog", which had grossed $58 million in its first 3 days. Mumbai, March 13 - Marvel Studios' "Spider-Man: No Way Home" might be nearing its blockbuster but the box office hasn't faded as another superhero movie is taking giant steps. Warner Bros. DC film "The Batman" has completed the second weekend at the worldwide box office and brought in a super $463 million. At the domestic (North America) box office, the Robert Pattinson-fronted has become the second biggest grosser of the pandemic era with $238.5 million in 10 days. Internationally, "The Batman" has grossed an estimated $225 million at the end of the second weekend. In India, the movie is having a good run, nearing Rs. 50 crores mark for all languages. At the end of the second weekend, it has grossed Rs. 46 crores ($5.9 million). India is currently the 11th biggest international market for "The Batman", with the United Kingdom is leading the chart with $35 million.
