Akshay Kumar's 'Sky Force' Trailer Clocked 180 Million Views In The First 24 Hours

Mumbai, January 6 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's war action thriller Sky Force trailer has received a blockbuster response on YouTube and other social media platforms in the first 24 hours of release. The film is directed by Sandeep Kewlani, and Abhishek Anil Kapur, and produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. ## The much-anticipated action-packed trailer of Sky Force was launched on January 5 during an event in Mumbai and as expected, it generated huge curiosity among the fans and general audience. According to the official data revealed by the makers, the trailer scored 180 million views across social media platforms in the first 24 hours, making it one of the most-watched Indian film trailers. ## On YouTube, the trailer was launched on Maddock Films and Jio Studios' channels on which it generated 57.65 million views combined in the first full day. Among the Indian films (for all languages), the Sky Force trailer has become the 9th most watched on YouTube. ## Sky Force stars Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya (in his acting debut), alongside Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan. Box Office: 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' Re-Release First Weekend Collection

Mumbai, January 6 - Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's romantic comedy Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is all set to enter the 200 crores net club after a very good New Year opening weekend upon its re-release at the box office. ## The Ayan Mukerji's directorial re-opened in cinemas on January 3rd and scored approximately 1.20 crores net collection on its first day. It showed a 100% jump on Saturday to collect approximately 2.25 crores net and there was another solid jump of 35% on Sunday for around 3 crores net.## The blockbuster film scored approximately 6.40 crores in its latest re-release run and including last year's limited re-release collection of around 75 lakh, YJHD's total domestic cume reached 195.75 crores net. It earned 188.60 crores in its original run back in 2013.## Last year, a couple of films witnessed a good response in their re-release run and YJHD followed to same. It opened on over 750 shows which increased to around 2200 shows on Sunday. The trend indicates the movie to have a good hold on Monday and is expected to remain for a couple of weeks to come. ## YJHD was declared a blockbuster in its original run and its re-release will make sure it attain what was left in the first place, that is 200 crores net collection. Producer Dinesh Vijan Reacts On Producer Naga Vamsi's Derogatory Comments On Bollywood Industry

Mumbai, January 5 - Producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films has reacted to the recent comments made by Telugu producer Naga Vamsi on the Bollywood film industry. During a roundtable interaction of filmmakers, Vamsi said that while the South industry is going Pan India, Bollywood filmmakers are making films only for Juhu and Bandra in a seemingly arrogant tone. ## During Sky Force's trailer launch event, producer Dinesh Vijan was asked to react to Vamsi's derogatory remarks. The filmmaker, who has been in top form with back-to-back big successes, made a very dignified response without showing Vamsi and South industry in a bad light. ## Speaking about the same, Vijan said that since the pandemic, there are 5 Hindi films (Pathaan, Jawan, Gadar 2, Animal, and Stree 2) which has crossed 500 crore net collection which didn't exist earlier. Box Office: 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' Re-Release Second Day Collection

Mumbai, January 4 - After a very good opening of around 1.20 crores net collection, Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's 2013 romantic-comedy Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani scores an almost 100% jump on its second day of re-release. ## The Ayan Mukerji's directorial blockbuster had over 750 shows on the first day and with demand rising, the shows doubled on its second day at around 1600 shows. The movie minted an approximately 2.25 crores net collection on Saturday, pushing 2 two-day re-release total of the film to around 3.45 crores. ## The film has good pre-sales for Sunday which should mean another good day at the box office. It is looking for a 6+ crores net opening weekend which will take its total collection (including the original run) to around 195 crores and then break into a 200 crore club by next weekend or before. ## There are a couple of new films releasing next weekend, however, the lack of buzz for them might help YJHD to have an extended re-release run till Republic Day. Varun Dhawan's 'Baby John' Opening Day Box Office Expectations

Mumbai, December 24 - After stealing hearts with romantic and comedy entertainers, Bollywood star Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the release of his first full-fledged actioner in the form of Baby John which is slated to hit the screens on December 25 on the occasion of Christmas. ## The film, directed by Tamil director Kalees, was easily one of the most anticipated Bollywood movies sometime back but the buzz has dipped for the last few weeks in the euphoria of Pushpa 2 - The Rule which is going great gun at the box office in Hindi. ## The advance booking of Baby John hasn't been on the expected lines but it has still managed to score a decent response with over 100K tickets sold for the opening day. Akshay Kumar's 'Sky Force' Trailer Date Officially Revealed

Mumbai, December 24 - One of the biggest first Bollywood films of 2025 is superstar Akshay Kumar-fronted action thriller Sky Force with Maddock Films and Jio Studios. The film is directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur and is scheduled to be released during the Republic Day weekend. ## With almost 1 month to go before the film's big screen debut, the makers will kick-start the promotion with a trailer, which will be launched on January 3 during an event in Mumbai. Mumbai, December 23 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and director Siddharth Anand are set to reunite for action thriller King after delivering a big blockbuster last year in the form of Pathaan. Anand will also produce the movie with Red Chillies Entertainment. ## King, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan, was supposed to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh who has now been replaced by Anand. A6: Director Atlee Promises Bigger Things In His Next With Salman Khan

Mumbai, December 17 - Director Atlee's next film with superstar Salman Khan has been the talk of the town ever since the news about the movie was revealed sometime back.
