Rana Daggubati & Sai Pallavi Starrer 'Virata Parvam' To Release In Theaters First

Hyderabad, November 22 - Telugu movie "Virata Parvam", starring Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi is going to get a theatrical release first. The period drama film has been in the news for quite some time now. It was supposed to release in summer 2022, but due to the second covid-19 wave, it stands postponed. ## There were talks that producers D. Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri are in talks with OTT platforms for a direct-to-digital release. Some entertainment portals had also claimed that the movie will be released directly on Amazon Prime Video. ## However, with theaters having reopened with full capacity, the latest reports say that director Venu Udugula has confirmed that the movie 'Virata Parvam' would get a theatrical release before its OTT release. It is said that the makers are planning to go with the theatrical release, and would announce the release date soon. A release date poster is being prepared by the team. ## The makers will soon resume the post-production work and then start promotional events. Billed as a period love story, "Virata Parvam" features Rana Daggubati in the role of a revolutionary leader. The movie is touted to be the journey of a couple, and their story revolves around Communism. ## As per the teaser which was released earlier, Sai Pallavi's sterling love for Rana Daggubati's revolutionary ideologies in the movie is the crux of the story. Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa - The Rise' Hindi Version Confirmed To Release In Theaters By AAFilms

Mumbai, November 20 - Actor Allu Arjun's upcoming action thriller "Pushpa - The Rise" is all set to hit the big screen on December 17, all over India. It will be AA's first film to have a pan India release.## While "Pushpa" was already confirmed to release in dubbed versions of Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, there was a question mark over the "Pushpa" Hindi theatrical release due to some issues with the Hindi distributor. However, all the issues have been settled now and the Hindi version of this much-awaited film will be released by AAFilms, which will also release Yash-starrer "K.G.F: Chapter 2" in North India with Excel Entertainment. ## Despite the issues with the distributor, the makers of "Pushpa" have been (kept) promoting the film in Hindi by releasing songs and posters. It is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the banners of Mythri Movie Makers, and Muttamsetty Media. Ravi Teja Announces His First Pan-India Film; To Star In & As Tiger Nageswara Rao

Hyderabad, November 3 - Ravi Teja joins the elite league of actors with Pan-India films. On November 3, the mass actor announced his foray into the multilingual genre with the biographical film "Tiger Nageswara Rao". ## Produced by Abhishek Agarwal of Abhishek Agarwal Arts, Tiger Nageswara Rao is based on real-life incidents of infamous bandit Tiger Nageswara Rao and the people of Stuartpuram. To be directed by Vamsee, the first Pan-India outing for Teja will be shot in Telugu and will be dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. ## It is said that director Vamsee narrated the script to the actor and he instantly agreed to step into the shoes of the daredevil robber of Stuartpuram, who gave sleepless nights to the authorities owing to his escaping strategies. Hyderabad, October 24 - Telugu musical romantic comedy film, "Pelli SandaD" has surprised one and all at the box office. Despite getting bad reviews from critics and audiences, the movie has earned a clean Hit status in Telugu. It reported house full shows at some places of Hyderabad in the opening weekend. ## Directed by Gowri Ronanki, the movie has earned approx Rs. 7.80 crores net in Telugu. In the first five days, Pelli SandaD grossed approx Rs. 7.3 crores in India including AP/TG share of Rs. 4.41 crores. The movie cost between 5-7 crores and it turned out to be a profitable venture for the makers. ## It is a sequel to a 1996 film of the same name. The film marks the acting debut of Raghavendra Rao who directed the previous film.
