The actor thriller movie is reaching new milestones with each passing day and is expected to be among the all-time biggest Indian grossers by the time it ends its run.## "Jawan" had a historic 4-day opening weekend which saw it becoming the fastest Bollywood movie to top 500 crores at the worldwide box office. It remained super solid on its first Monday and brought in another around 45 crores, and now, on its 6th day/first Tuesday, the movie soared past the 600 crores gross mark globally.## Produced by Red Chillies Entertainer, "Jawan" has minted 415 crores gross (345 crores net) at the domestic box office in 6 days and at the same time, the overseas collection of the movie 206 crores for over 621 crores worldwide. It is the fastest Bollywood movie to top this box office mark, beating SRK's own movie "Pathaan" which reached this mark in 7 days.## On its first Tuesday, "Jawan" topped 300 crores net collection (306.58 crores) in Hindi and became the fastest to do so, again beating "Pathaan" which did this in 7 days. Mumbai, September 13 - Actor Ayushmann Khurrana's social comedy-drama film Dream Girl 2 emerged a slipper success at the box office and entered the 100 crores net club in Hindi. ## Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film managed to withstand Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster "Jawan" and holdover film "Gadar 2" to make a surprise entry to the coveted 100 crores club. It topped the century mark on its 18th day as its current net collection stands at over 100.50 crores.## "Dream Girl 2" has become the 113th movie ever to top 100 crores net in Hindi. The last movie to hit this mark was "Jawan". DG2 is overall the 10th movie of 2023, including Prabhas-fronted "Adipurush" to achieve this milestone. It is currently the 111th all-time highest net-grosser movie in Hindi and will likely finish its box office run at around 105 crores net. ## The film has also become the 4th movie of Ayushmann to score 100 crores net or more, and his first since "Bala" (2019). Ananya Pandey, who played the female lead role in the movie, scored her 100 crores net movie. ## Meanwhile, the worldwide collection of DG2 has crossed 130 crores gross mark. Mumbai, September 12 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is taking giant steps in the year 2023. The actor kicked off this year with all-time blockbuster Pathaan, and nearly 8 months later, his action thriller Jawan is on course to repeat the success of Pathaan. ## Shah Rukh Khan has now become the Bollywood actor with the highest net collection at the Indian box office in a single year among the male lead actors. "Pathaan", directed by Siddharth Anand, had minted approximately 544 crores net in all versions while "Jawan" has so far scored 316 crores (5 days). This takes the combined total to around 860 crores, beating the previous record of Akshay Kumar who scored approximately 775 crores net in 2019 with 4 films.## "Jawan" has still a long way to go, and if all goes well, then Shah Rukh Khan will become the first Bollywood actor to score a 1000+ crores net collection in a single year in India with just 2 films. The overall biz, however, got impacted by the India vs. Pakistan cricket match in the Asia Cup in the evening and night shows.## Directed by Atlee Kumar, Jawan is looking to score an estimated 27+ crores net collection but also has a shot at hitting 29-30 crores in Hindi which mostly depends on the impact of the match. After the record 130 crores opening, "Jawan" stayed over 100 crores each day throughout the first week, becoming the joint first Indian movie to score 4 consecutive 100+ crores day globally.## "Jawan" grossed approximately 521 crores worldwide over its 4-day weekend which is the fastest for a Bollywood movie ever. The estimates suggest 71+ crores net on its first Sunday/4th day and the collection might go towards 73 crores net depending on the hold in smaller centres. ## The 4-day extended opening weekend of the movie is around 252 crores in Hindi which actually exceeded expectations with the kind of response it is getting, something which was never seen before in Indian cinema. It has surpassed Thalapathy Vijay's "Bigil" lifetime worldwide collection of around 300 crores to become Atlee's biggest grosser ever.## Interestingly, "Jawan" is the maiden Bollywood venture for the Tamil filmmaker and also his first movie with the superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Mumbai, September 9 - Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan has an explosive first Saturday at the domestic box office with collection nearing the first day total. The movie witnessing a jump of around 40% which is phenomenal as second-day numbers were itself huge.## According to the early estimates, Jawan is eyeing 66 crores net collection in Hindi on its third day. The final collection might vary a little bit here and there depending on the hold in smaller centres. The collection today is more or less similar to the first-day numbers which is insane trending, to say the least.## Apart from Hindi, Jawan has scored an estimated 8-9 crores net collection in Tamil and Telugu versions today, for an all-time 74-75 crores net first Saturday, which is again almost identical to the first-day collection.
