Amar Kaushik's directorial is one of the most-anticipated Bollywood movies and the buzz is picking up at the right time. ## Meanwhile, the makers of "Bhediya" have also announced that the movie will also be released in Tamil and Telugu languages. Mumbai, November 4 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 57th birthday on November 2. On the occasion of his birthday, Yash Raj Films released the action-packed teaser of his upcoming movie "Pathaan" and also released his iconic blockbuster Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge on limited screens. ## "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" is one of the most celebrated films in Indian cinema history and despite the fact that it was first released nearly 27 years ago in 1995, the film is still being played in Mumbai's iconic cinema, Maratha Mandir and has an immense recall value on television. ## Despite all the aforementioned factors, the film was re-released (limited) on November 2 with packed theaters and grossed approx. 30 lakh. This is a huge collection for a more than 25-year-old film at a time when some of the new releases are failing to take the opening of 15 lakh. It scored approx. 23K footfalls.## The response to the re-release of DDLJ shows the craze for the superstar who was last seen in 2018 in Anand L Rai's "Zero". Mumbai, November 3 - The festival of light, Diwali is the biggest occasion for the Hindi film industry and it has always brought joy to the fraternity at the box office. This year, Bollywood has two big films in the form of Ram Setu, and Thank God and both were big enough to bring huge smiles to the faces of the film fraternity. ## Despite the hopes, the Bollywood industry was concerned with the way how things went throughout the year, especially on Holi and Eid festivals and their fear came alive with the underwhelming response to both "Ram Setu" and "Thank God". Despite the mixed to positive talks, both films didn't meet the high expectation. ## "Ram Setu", which stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role, was a perfect outing for Diwali 2022 because of its action-adventure genre revolving around Ram Setu, and so was Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra's "Thank God". Both the movies failed to take big openings which made things difficult for them going forward and it looks like both will be wrapped up around 110 crores net, which is underwhelming.## Earlier, Eid 2022 too had lukewarm results with "Heropanti 2" and "Runway 34" as both films could only fetch approx. 60 crores net box office collection while Holi had Akshay Kumar's "Bachchhan Paandey", minting only approx. 51 crores net. On Raksha Bandhan in August, Akshay's "Raksha Bandhan", and Aamir Khan's "Laal Singh Chaddha" were two big releases but could only manage approx. 110 crores net collection. ## The Diwali 2021 saw the release of Akshay Kumar's "Sooryavanshi", which was the first major Bollywood release in nearly 18 months. It features SRK as Pathaan in high-octane action sequences with John Abraham who plays the antagonist. Yash Raj Films was supposed to produce the film with Sushant Singh Rajput playing the lead role. ## The project came to light after the demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput when Shekhar released the script of "Paani". It was put on the back burner after Yash Raj Films reportedly opted out. However, things now seem to be returning on track and the filmmaker is keen to revive the film. ## During a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Shekhar Kapur confirmed that he is in touch with producers to revive "Paani" and he is hopeful that the project will meet its sweet end. ## "Hopefully next year, but let's talk when everything is locked. It's a dramatic script about many relationships including a love story, and water is the key to the love story. It's a very spiritual story, for water is the key in every faith in the world", he said. ## Shekhar Kapur is currently focussing on the promotions of "What's Love Got to Do With It?" The makers are expected to make the official announcement of the postponement of this Om Raut's directorial in the coming days. ## "Adipurush" is currently slated for January 12, 2023, release on the occasion of Sankranthi. Sankranthi 2023 festival is jam-packed with big-budget South Indian films including Chiranjeevi's "Waltair Veerayya", and Nandamuri Balakrishna's "Veera Simha Reddy". ## It is said that the makers of "Adipurush" have been finding it difficult to get theaters in Telugu states due to multiple other releases and they have reportedly informed Telugu distributors about opting out from the Sankranthi race. ## Though the makers are yet to make the official announcement, reports say the movie will now release in the early summer of 2023.
