Mumbai, October 28 - Maverick filmmaker Rohit Shetty's much-awaited comic caper Cirkus starring Ranveer Singh is going to get a solo release this Christmas. ## "Cirkus" was supposed to clash with Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon's "Ganapath Part 1" and Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi's "Merry Christmas", but both have now been postponed to 2023. Interestingly, the makers announced yesterday that "Merry Christmas" would be released as scheduled on December 23 this year, but now, it stands postponed to summer 2023. ## "Ganapath" is a big-budget action thriller directed by Vikas Bahl. It is currently in post-production and it seems the makers are not going to bring the movie this Christmas. However, the official announcement regarding the postponement of "Ganapath" is yet to be made. ## Meanwhile, "Cirkus", which is the first comedy film for Rohit Shetty outside the "Golmaal" franchise, is now the only major Bollywood film in December this year. Tiger Shroff's Film With Director Jagan Shakti Is Titled 'Hero No. 1'

Mumbai, October 28 - It was recently reported that Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff would be teaming up with "Mission Mangal" director Jagan Shakti for an action drama film. Pooja Entertainment will produce this big-budget entertainer, making its 3rd film with Tiger after "Ganapath" and "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan". ## Now, according to the latest reports, the movie has been titled "Hero No. 1" and it will go on floors in 2023. "Tiger Shroff, Jackky Bhagnani, and Jagan Shakti are looking to create one of its kind tentpole action thrillers, with the aim to bring heroism back in a big way. And what better title than Hero No. 1 to celebrate cinema the way it's meant to be", reports Pinkvilla.## "Hero No. 1" will reportedly be shot internationally in Europe with an international action crew coming onboard. The pre-production work is going on in full swing at the moment, and the entire production unit is high on energy to kick off the work on this ambitious project. ## Coincidently, "Hero No. 1" is an iconic title that is associated with Govinda's 1997 film with director David Dhawan. Mumbai, October 28 - Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan's next big ticket entertainer Fighter with director Siddharth Anand has been moved to January 25, Republic Day 2024 from September 2023 release. ## Billed as India's first aerial action thriller, the movie has Deepika Padukone as the female lead along with Anil Kapoor in a key role. According to Pinkvilla, director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra will helm Excel Entertainment's epic Karna and the makers have approached Yash to play this iconic Mahabharta character.## Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment distributed Yash's "KGF 2" in Hindi, and the report says that the studio wants to rope the actor for "Karna". ## Apart from "Karna", the Pan India superstar has also reportedly offered to play the character of Dev in director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part 2 - Dev, which will be produced by Dharma Productions in association with Disney. The actor had a shocker this year when his "Heropanti 2" bombed at the box office, however, Tiger's future line-up is looking bright and promising. ## The "Baaghi" actor has "Ganapath Part - 1" has been wrapped and will release early next year. Tiger also has Ali Abbas Zafar's "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan", slated to go on floors by January 2023, Rohit Dhawan's "Rambo", and Lakshya Raj Anand's next. ## Now, according to peepingmoon.com, Tiger has signed one more film with "Mission Mangal" director Jagan Shakti. The yet-untitled film is touted to be an emotional action drama and it will reportedly be produced by Pooja Entertainment which has also produced Tiger's "Ganapth". ## Tiger and Jagan Shakti's film will be shot in the UK, which has been the favorite shoot location for Bhagnanis. Mumbai, October 20 - It has been nearly 8 months since Sony Pictures India in association with Mukesh Khanna's Bheeshm International, and Brewing Thoughts Private Limited announced big screen adaptation of the popular television superhero show Shaktimaan. ## Ever since the announcement, the makers have been searching for a director to helm this trilogy, and it seems they have finally found the one. According to Pinkvilla, Malayalam director Basil Joseph, who directed the critically acclaimed desi superhero movie "Minnal Murali", is in the advance talks to helm "Shaktimaan" trilogy. ## The report says that Basil is himself a huge Shaktimaan fan and has shown keen interest in directing this film. ## "The director has already met the Shaktimaan team multiple times and is keen to come on board the film. The producers have asked Basil to come up with his own version of the screenplay to know if he is on the same wavelength as the team on the visual and story-telling front", Pinkvilla reports.## The "Shaktimaan" trilogy will be made on a huge budget and the makers are looking for the best artists to come on board the film.
