Mumbai, November 11 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is one of the actors who popularized comedy with films like "Hera Pheri" and "Welcome". "Hera Pheri" particularly holds a special mention in Bollywood history. ## In the first two "Hera Pheri", Akshay played the role of Raju who went on to become an iconic cult character along with Sunil Shetty's Shyam and Paresh Rawal's Babu Bhaiya. The obsession with these characters has been such that the demand for "Hera Pheri 3" over the last few years has been getting bigger. ## To the delight of the fans, producer Firoz Nadiadwala confirmed last year that "Hera Pheri 3" is in development with the trio of Akshay, Sunil, and Paresh would be returning to take the franchise forward. Mumbai, November 11 - Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan is reportedly set to headline the much-awaited 3rd installment of the iconic blockbuster Hera Pheri 3. Akshay Kumar, who played the character of Raju in the first two films, has pulled out from "Hera Pheri 3" and Kartik will replace him. ## According to Pinkvilla, the paperwork has been completed and Kartik has signed the dotted lines to come on board as Raju in this Firoz Nadiadwala production film. The report further says that the makers are keen to rope Anees Bazmee to direct the film. Kartik and Bazmee collaborated for "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2" which was a big hit.## The upcoming Hera Pheri film will reboot the franchise in which Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal, who played Shyam and Babu Rao in the earlier two films, will continue to reprise their roles. However, there hasn't been any development since then and now, as per the latest reports, that film is not happening anymore, instead, the duo will be collaborating on something very big. ## According to Pinkvilla, the super-talented duo will be collaborating on the cinematic adaptation of the iconic Tamil epic Novel, Velpari, which is touted to be the biggest pan-India cinematic event after SS Rajamouli's "Bahubali". ## It is said that Shankar wants to create something very big with the Velpari novel and teamed up with Ranveer Singh for its cinematic adaptation. The film grossed approx. 295 crores gross worldwide, was the highest-grossing Bollywood and the second-highest Indian film of 2021. ## As the film completes 1 year, Rohit Shetty took to social media and reflects on the hardships he and the team faced due to the covid-19 pandemic. Mumbai, November 5 - The makers of Prabhas-fronted magnum opus Adipurush released the teaser of the film on October 2 with much enthusiasm only to get criticism from critics and audiences over its poor VFX. ## The makers did manage things by showing the teaser on the big screens and were able to make people change their minds, but other controversies around the characterization of Ramayana's character really pushed the makers back, but again, they somehow managed things by telling people about their vision. ## Directed by Om Raut, "Adipurush" is currently slated for January 12, 2023, release, but as per the recent reports, the makers were left with no choice but to postpone the film to the summer of 2023 as there are a number of big releases on Sankranthi festival and they don't want harm the film's box office potential. ## Now, according to LetsCinema, the real reason for postponing the film was indeed the criticism of VFX shots. The makers are reportedly under pressure to re-do the full VFX which will approximately cost Rs. 100 crores more.
