Akshay Kumar Talks About Completing 'Prithviraj' Movie In 42 Days
Mumbai, May 24 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is one of the actors who likes to finish his movies in under 40 days. Despite taking fewer days as compared to his contemporary, Akshay remains the most versatile actor who has performed every character with perfection.## Akshay is now gearing up for the release of magnum opus "Prithviraj", which he shot his portion in just 42 days. Being a historical action drama film, many believe that Akshay should have taken more days to complete his part and that he is not dedicated to the character. ## During a recent interview with Firstpost, Akshay talked about completing the movie in such a short period and said that became possible because of the well-planned strategy of the director and his research of the character. ## "Talking about finishing films early, do you know how much time Tom Cruise completed Mission Impossible which is one of the biggest action films? He wrapped up in only 53 days because the director had done his homework well. He knew that he required the hero for so long. Prithviraj was shot for about 110 days and with me, they shot for 42-43 days. Nothing was wasted, every shot of mine is there in the film", he said. ## "Prithviraj" is based on the life of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan and it is helmed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi under the production banner of Yash Raj Films. Akshay will be seen in the titular role of the 12th-century Rajput king Prithviraj Chauhan in the film co-starring debutante Manushi Chhillar, Sanjay Dutt, Ashutosh Rana, Sonu Sood, and Sakshi Tanwar. ## The film is scheduled to release on June 3rd in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. ## Stay tuned...
