Varun Dhawan On Box Office Trends Post Pandemic, 'Nobody Knows Anything'
Mumbai, June 16 - Varun Dhawan is returning to the big screen with the romantic-comedy-drama film "Jug Jugg Jeeyo" for the first time since "Street Dancer 3D". The Raj Mehta-directed movie is scheduled to release on June 24 as the makers are leaving no stone unturned to promote the movie. ## "Jug Jugg Jeeyo" is expected to do well at the box office, which has become uncertain post the covid-19 pandemic. While most of the recent Bollywood films have failed at the box office, JJJ is seen as a potential box office winner by trade experts.## Varun Dhawan, during a recent interview with Pinkvilla, however, said that they are clueless about the box office trends nowadays as no one knows what will happen to their movies. The actor shared his opinion about the unpredictability of the box office. ## "I want to say this on camera that 'Nobody knows sh*t' about trends and what works and what doesn't at the box office. Let's be honest, I don't think the trade knows anything. I don't know that even the most successful producers know or directors, there's nothing. Nobody knows anything", Varun said. ## Kiara Advani, who is playing the female lead opposite Varun, agreed with him and said, "What are these trends? There are no trends. Nobody knows what's working, no one knows.
