Mumbai, December 7 - Earlier in March this year, Ran Mukerji announced his next film, titled "Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway" on her 43rd birthday. Written and directed by Mere Dad Ki Maruti-fame Ashima Chibber, the movie revolves around a mother's battle against an entire country and is based on true events. ## Nearly 7 months later from the official announcement, producers Zee Studios and Emmay Entertainment have announced the release date. Box Office: Tadap Packs A Solid Punch At The BO In The Opening Weekend

Mumbai, December 6 - Ahan Shetty's Bollywood debut kicks off to a promising note as the newcomer's "Tadap" put up a strong total at the box office over the first weekend. Released on December 3, "Tadap" netted Rs. 13.52 crores in the first three days, which is a great result of a debutante, even in the pre-covid level. ## The Sajid Nadiadwala's production, also featuring Tara Sutaria as the female lead, opened to Rs. 4.05 crores on Friday with a slight jump (1.79%) on Saturday for Rs. 4.12 crores. For the Sunday holiday, "Tadap" jumped by nearly 30% for a healthy Rs. 5.35 crores, taking its 3-day total to Rs. 13.52 crores.## Directed by Milan Lutharia, "Tadap" was way ahead of Salman Khan, Ayush Sharma, and Mahima Makawana-starrer "Antim: The Final Truth", which netted an estimated total of Rs. 5.48 crores over the second weekend. However, "Antim" showed growth over the second weekend, taking its 10-days total India net to Rs. 34.83 crores and worldwide gross to Rs. 47.2 crores (approx.). ## Made in a budget of around Rs. 20 crores, "Tadap" has so far grossed approx Rs. 19 crores worldwide. The box office collection so far for the remake of the Telugu movie "RX100" is a big relief for the Bollywood film industry. It was a question mark on the film's success considering the covid-19 pandemic and a new face leading it. All the doubts are gone now, and the eyes will be on how it performs over the weekdays for the healthy first week total. ## Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar-fronted "Sooryavanshi" is going strong at the box despite being available on Netflix. The Rohit Shetty-directed netted an estimate of Rs. 85 lakh on the 5th Sunday (31st day) to finish the 5th weekend with Rs. 1.87 crores. With Rs. 193.21 crores India net so far, it has grossed Rs. 288.7 crores worldwide. The Enforcement Directorate had opened a LOC against the actress in the Sukesh Chandrasekar case. She, after completing the shooting schedule of Ram Setu in Diu, had returned and is to participate in Salman Khan's Da-bangg tour to be held on December 10 in Riyadh.## Jacqueline has been questioned at least twice and was even questioned for 7 hours, by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the Rs 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar and his wife, actor Leena Maria Paul. Mumbai, December 4 - Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush-starrer "Antrangi Re" is all set to premiere directly on Disney Plus Hostar on December 24. The movie was supposed to release in theaters but due to the second covid-19 wave and overcrowded theatrical releases, the makers thought of releasing the film on OTT will be a good result for the film. ## The title of the film, "Atrangi Re" has been attracting viewers, and now, director Anand L Rai reveals that he was lucky to get the title. In a recent conversation with ETimes, Rai revealed that the "Atrangi Re" title was already registered with Salman Khan Productions but he gave it to him on one condition. ## "Salman Bhai had the title registered to his production house but he gave it to me on one condition. He told his associates to give the title rights only if I direct the film, otherwise, they wouldn't have let it go". ## Rai also recalled, "There's an interesting story about the time when I went to the film association to get both the titles. I did not get 'Atrangi Re' but when I asked for the title of 'Raksha Bandhan', forget having attempted a story on the subject, nobody had even registered the title".## "Atrangi Re" has been written by Himanshu Sharma and the musical maestro AR Rahman has composed the album for the film with songs penned by Irshad Kamil. Box Office: 'Antim: The Final Truth' Scores A Healthy Opening Week

Mumbai, December 3 - Salman Khan and Ayush Sharma-starrer "Antim: The Final Truth" seems to have found its audiences over the opening week at the box office. Even the numbers are still low as compared to the pre-covid level, the action entertainer still managed to put more than a decent total in the first week with a net collection of Rs. 29.35 crores. ## Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, "Antim: The Final Truth" generally received positive reviews from critics and fans alike, which helped it to remain steady at the box office through weekdays, making it the second biggest Bollywood grosser in the first week in 2021. It netted Rs. 18.61 crores in the opening weekend, which is the second-best after "Sooryavanshi" (Rs. 77.08 cr.) in 2021. ## Overseas, "Antim" has managed to gross approx Rs. 6.35 crores in the first 6 days, which takes its total worldwide gross to Rs. 38.50 crores. "Antim" will also surpass Akshay Kumar's "Bell Bottom's" lifetime India gross of Rs. 39.40 crores after the second weekend.
