Box Office: 'Andaz Apna Apna' Re-Release First 2 Days Collection

Mumbai, April 27 - Superstars Aamir Khan and Salman Khan's cult classic Andaz Apna Apna was re-released this weekend. In the first 2 days, the movie has collected a little over 50 lakh net collection, almost the same as the recently re-released Karan Arjun. ## The Rajkumar Santoshi's directorial comedy scored approximately 20 lakh net collection on its first day and around 35 crores net on Saturday, for around 55 lakh collection in the first 2 days. Interestingly, the collection so far is almost identical to the first 2 days' total of the film's original run. ## In recent times, there have been a few re-release titles which performed much better than Andaz Apna Apna, and considering that, the collection of this film is low. The makers did promote the film through social media, but it didn't work in its favour. ## Andaz Apna Apna minted approximately 5.15 crores net during its original run back in 1994, and this collection is unlikely to be matched by the repeat run. Overall, the movie has not gained much help from its cult status, and the original verdict, which was below average, won't change much. ## Stay tuned...

Box Office: 'Kesari 2' Second Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, April 26 - Superstar Akshay Kumar's historical drama Kesari: Chapter 2 is heading towards a decent second weekend after showing a very good jump on the second Saturday. Earlier, the movie benefited from the BOGO offer on Friday, where the collection was higher than on Thursday. ## On the second Saturday (9th day), Kesari 2 has shown a solid growth of around 75% from Friday, as early estimates suggest the collection to be in the range of 6.75-7.25 crores net. The second weekend is heading towards 19-20 crores net with a drop of only 30%-35% from the opening weekend, which is a solid hold. ## The total collection of the movie after the second Saturday is around 57 crores net, on track for 66 crores (+/-) through the second Sunday. The hugely positive word of mouth has kept Kesari 2 super steady in its collection after the opening weekend, which is a positive sign for its longevity. ## There will be Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 next weekend, but glowing WOM is likely to keep Kesari 2 getting its share. Depending on how the new releases perform, the Akshay Kumar-starrer will have a chance to enter the 100 crores net club in the long run, and that would be a big success for the film. ## Stay tuned...

Box Office: Sunny Deol's 'Jaat' Tops 100 Crore Worldwide

Mumbai, April 21 - Sunny Deol's action drama Jaat has entered the 100 crores club at the worldwide box office, becoming the actor's third film to achieve the feat. It is Sunny's second consecutive movie to hit the milestone after Gadar 2. ## Directed by Gopichand Mallineni, Jaat hit 100 crores gross on its 11th day after grossing approximately 88 crores in India and 12+ crores gross at the overseas box office. It is only the 4th Bollywood and 11th Indian movie of 2025 to enter this prestigious box office club.## Jaat proves to be the second consecutive success for Sunny Deol after the mega blockbuster Gadar 2: The Katha Continues. Before G2, the actor's Gadar: Ek Prem Katha was the only 100 crores grosser at the worldwide box office with 132+ crores (without inflation). ## The latest hit has a chance to become Sunny's second biggest grosser, but it needs to hold extremely well in the coming days to achieve that desired result. The competition with Akshay Kumar's Kesari 2 has slowed down Jaat's pace, otherwise, it could have become the second biggest hit for the actor rather easily. ## Stay tuned...

The film had opened to around 7.75 crores net (Good Friday), followed by 9.75 crores net on Saturday and witnessed further growth on Sunday to clock a better-than-expected weekend. ## Kesari 2 is more like an urban movie, but due to its patriotic theme, it is also attracting audiences from smaller centres. The positive trend over the weekend resulted in a surge in showcasing as the film has a limited release on around 1700 screens. ## The word of mouth is super positive, and the demand among the moviegoers for the film over the weekend suggests the film is likely to have a solid hold on Monday, which is crucial for the film's success. ## Meanwhile, Sunny Deol-fronted action drama Jaat scored a good second Sunday for an estimated around 5-5.50 crores net, for a decent second weekend of around 13 crores net. The total collection of the film has reached 74.50+ crores in 10 days. ## The positive response to Kesari 2 didn't let Jaat score bigger growth, which looked possible before the former's release. Box Office: 'Jaat' Fourth Day/First Sunday Early Estimates

Mumbai, April 13 - Sunny Deol's action drama Jaat has packed a solid punch on its first Sunday at the domestic box office. The film has witnessed a fantastic jump of around +40% and comfortably crossed the double-digit mark for the first time. ## According to early estimates, Jaat has scored in the range of 13.50-14.50 crores net collection on its first Sunday, pushing the extended 4-day weekend to around 40 crores net, which is a good total. This is the second biggest opening weekend ever for a Sunny Deol-starrer after Gadar 2 (135+ crores net in 3 days). ## The movie remained super solid in mass pockets, while multiplexes too have come on board and saw a healthy jump on Sunday, which was expected since the film witnessed a marginal growth in multiplexes on Saturday collections. These are positive signs which show the movie has found acceptance beyond the masses. ## Jaat will be looking at another good hold on Monday due to the Ambedkar Jayanti holiday, which might take its 5-day total to around 50 crores net. The lack of competition is also an advantage for the movie, and this is likely to help it during the weekdays, as word of mouth is positive. ## There will be a big competition for Jaat in the second weekend in the form of Akshay Kumar's Kesari 2, but if it manages to hold steady after the Monday holiday, the movie stands a very good chance to enter the 100 crores club, which should be deemed as a success for it. ## Stay tuned...
