After confirming to be a part of director SS Rajamouli and superstar Mahesh Babu's SSMB29, the actress is now gearing up to reprise her role in Krrish 4.## After years of speculation, it was recently officially confirmed that Hrithik Roshan would be making his directorial debut with the hugely anticipated superhero movie, Krrish 4, in which he will return to play the titular character. Now, according to a report by Pinkvilla, PC has been locked to play the female lead. ## Priyanka has appeared in Krrish 2 and 3 as the female lead and will return to reprise her role as Priya in the upcoming installment. "Hrithik and Priyanka are a successful pair and have an excellent work relationship. It was more of a no-brainer for PC to come on board Krrish 4, as the story continues the journey of characters from Koi Mil Gaya to Krrish, Krrish 3, and now the fourth instalment", says the report. ## Krrish 4 is touted to be an ambitious superhero saga, and it is said that the actress was bowled over by the vision of Hrithik Roshan to take the franchise forward, and was ecstatic to see him take over the challenges of directing the film. ## The film will be produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films and Rakesh Roshan. The response in mass belts, which is its target audience, is easily among the best of the year. ## According to early estimates, Jaat is looking to score in the range of 9-10 crores net collection, which is the 4th biggest opening for a Bollywood title of the year. The industry has been feeling the heat due to the low success ratio this year, and Jaat comes as a much-needed relief. ## The film is best in mass belts, which show an upward trend throughout the day due to positive word of mouth. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film was released on February 14, and since then, it has been a one-horse race at the box office with the worldwide collection of over 800 crores gross. ## Chhaava is currently in its 8th week and is already the highest-grossing Indian film of the year so far. While the movie is still playing in a handful of cinemas, the makers have announced its digital release date as pre-decided. ## On Thursday (April 10), Netflix announced on social media that Chhaava would start streaming on its platform on Friday (April 11), 56 days after its theatrical debut. Mumbai, April 9 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's historical courtroom drama Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh is shaping up to be a dark horse at the box office. The recently released teaser and trailer have raised the anticipation. ## Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, Kesari 2 is scheduled to hit the big screens on April 18 and ahead of the big debut, the makers have completed censorship formalities today. Mumbai, April 6 - Over the last year or so, there have been reports about the 4th installment of the action thriller franchise Race being in the making, and now, the makers have confirmed that Race 4 is indeed in the making and will begin filming soon. ## It has been reported that Saif Ali Khan will make his comeback in the franchise after missing out on Race, and the actor to join him in the upcoming film is Sidharth Malhotra, who is going to be the newest addition to the blockbuster franchise. ## Meanwhile, there were a lot of rumours regarding the casting of the female leads and other actors of the film, but the makers have denied all the rumours. Producer Ramesh Taurani of Tips Films released a statement addressing the casting rumours of Race 4 while confirming that the movie is in the scripting stage. ## "We would like to clarify that we are currently in discussions only with Saif Ali Khan and Sidharth Malhotra for the next installment of the Race franchise, which is currently in its scripting phase. Mumbai, April 1 - After the underwhelming first two days of around 55 crores net collection, superstar Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna's action drama Sikandar has shown a much better hold than expected on its third day at the domestic box office. ## The AR Murugadoss directorial is showing a drop of around 30% from the Eid day, as early estimates suggest the collection to be in the range of 19-20 crores net on the first Tuesday. It has the benefit of the Basi Eid Holiday today as total collection is around 74 crores after 3 days. ## The audience word of mouth is poor, so there was the fear among the trade that the movie might collapse after Eid day, but the good hold has reignited some hope for the makers.## The real test for Sikandar will begin from Wednesday, though it is now certain to enter the 100 crores club as there is not much competition leading to the second weekend. Mumbai, March 31 - Superstar Salman Khan's action drama Sikandar has some growth on Eid day, but overall collection remains underwhelming. The movie was expected to rock the Eid weekend, but the poor audience reception has made a huge dent in its progress. ## After scoring approximately 26 crores net collection on the first day, which was Sunday, Sikandar witnessed a minimal growth of around 10% on Eid to score an estimated 28-29 crores net, pushing total collection to around 54-55 crores after 2 days. ## The things could have gone extremely wrong had there not been the Eid holiday, which was the main reason for the whatever growth film's scored on its second day. The Eid factor might help the movie in the next couple of days, otherwise, things are not looking good for the film. ## Apart from the little festive advantage, Sikandar has not much competition with new releases, but it might prove beneficial, but it is easier said than done, as audience reception is not favourable. According to early estimates, the movie is expected to open in the range of 25-26 crores net, something the pre-sales trend suggested. ## The first day box office trend of Sikandar is not healthy, especially given the fact that it was a Sunday release, followed by Eid holiday. Mumbai, March 21 - Vicky Kaushal-fronted historical action drama Chhaava is doing excellent business at the box office. Based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Chhaava is already the highest-grossing Indian film of the year with a worldwide collection of around 775 crores gross. ## Chhaava is currently running in its 6th week and nearing 800 crores gross collection. The movie will run in theatres for a minimum of 8 weeks before it is made available on OTT, however, even before the deadline, it has been hit by massive piracy and the investigation has begun for the same. ## According to the reports, Chhaava's HD prints have been leaked online and the Mumbai Police is said to have registered a case in this matter. The movie was deliberately leaked online through pirated sites on more than 1800 digital links. This isn't the first time a Bollywood film has leaked before its official digital release as there have been many such cases in the past. ## It is said that producer Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films anticipated this illegal activity and reportedly hired an anti-piracy agency to handle this matter legally. The South Cyber ​​Cell has reportedly registered a case under sections 316 (2) and 308 (3) of the Indian Penal Code (BNS), sections 51, 63 and 65 (A) of the Copyright Act, sections 43 and 66 of the Information Technology (IT) Act.## Chhaava is directed by Laxman Utekar and it stars Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj alongside Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale and Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb.
