Mumbai, March 19 - Superstar Salman Khan's much-awaited action drama Sikandar has officially been confirmed to hit the big screen on March 30, Sunday, also in IMAX. This is the back-to-back second movie of the Bollywood superstar to release on Sunday, after Tiger 3 in 2023.## The makers announced the release date of the movie on Wednesday, March 19 with a new poster featuring Salman. Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar will debut in theaters a day before Eid which falls on March 31. The movie will be chasing one of the biggest openings for a Bollywood title but the Sunday release has taken away the regular weekend advantage. ## Sikandar is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It stars Salman Khan in the title role with Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead while Sathyaraj and Prateik Babbar are the negative leads. Akshay Kumar's 'Sky Force' OTT Release Date Revealed

Mumbai, March 19 - Superstar Akshay Kumar's aerial action thriller Sky Force was one of the first big Bollywood releases of the year. Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, the film was released on January 24 and did decently at the box office. ## Produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, Sky Force is hailed as one of the best Bollywood films of 2025 so far, so there is a demand for the movie on streaming platforms from OTT audiences. Amazon Prime Video has post-theatrical streaming rights to the movie and the streamer confirmed on Wednesday that it will start streaming on March 21. ## The movie will complete 8 weeks (56 days) of its theatrical run, a minimum window before the films are made available OTT. Salman Khan's 'Sikandar' Theatrical Runtime Locked; Trailer Date Revealed

Mumbai, March 19 - Superstar Salman Khan is all set to set the box office on fire with his upcoming action drama film Sikandar. The movie is directed by AR Murugadoss and this marks his maiden collaboration with the Bollywood superstar. ## Sikandar is scheduled to be released on March 30, Sunday, and ahead of the release, director Murugadoss has revealed some details about it. The movie will be sent to the censor board in a couple of days but the filmmaker revealed the theatrical runtime of it in an interview with Pinkvilla.## The director confirmed that the Sikandar run time is about 2 hours and 20 minutes, which includes the first half of around 1 hour and 15 minutes and the second half is about 1 hour and 5 minutes. He further hyped it by calling it more than just a mass film. ## The trailer of the film will be launched on either March 22 or March 23 and director Murugadoss said that with the trailer, they want to satisfy the first-day audience before word of mouth takes it forward. Now, according to the latest reports, the Badshah of Bollywood is in talks with Pushpa director Sukumar for a rural political action drama film and the actor has reportedly shown interest in it. ## SRK will reportedly play the anti-hero in the movie that promises to show him in a raw, rustic, and desi avatar that blends his mass appeal with his global superstar image. It is the sequel to Brahmastra Part 1 - Shiva and is the second instalment of a planned trilogy, which is itself planned to be part of a cinematic universe titled Āstraverse. ## Director Ayan Mukerji confirmed the second part was supposed to start immediately after the first film which was released in 2022. However, the filmmaker decided to re-work the script which delayed its production and in-between, he took up Yash Raj Films' highly-awaited spy action thriller War 2 which is slated to release in August this year. ## Since there was no development taking place regarding Brahmastra 2, rumours about its cancellation started spreading until recently when Ranbir himself cleared the air on this mega project. The actor along with his wife Alia Bhatt conducted a meet-and-greet session with the media in Mumbai recently where they spoke about their future project .## When asked about this epic fantasy action-adventure film, Ranbir confirmed that Ayan Mukerji will start pre-production work on it after War 2. It is the fourth-fastest movie ever after Stree 2 (22 days), Jawan (18 days) and Pushpa 2 (11 days) to reach the milestone in Hindi.## Chhaava was released in the Telugu version on March 7, 3 weeks after the original release and in the first 2 days, the movie scored fantastic approximately 5.50+ crores net collection. The India net collection of the movie is around 508 crores, including 502+ crores in Hindi in 23 days. ## The movie has had a smooth run at the box office with no real competition. Salman Khan's 'Sikandar' Non-Theatrical Rights Locked

Mumbai, March 6 - Superstar Salman Khan's action drama Sikandar is one of the most-anticipated Bollywood movies. It is the first movie for the actor since YRF's Tiger 3 in November 2023, and there is genuine anticipation for the film which is directed by A. R. Murugadoss. ## The buzz around Sikandar is on the rise with each passing day and the same can be understood with the non-theatrical rights which has been locked. According to the reports, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has locked the film's non-theatrical rights for a very good sum of around 165 crores, which includes digital, satellite and music rights.## It is said that Netflix has secured the post-theatrical streaming rights of Sikandar on a base price of 85 crores and it can go higher up to 100 crores based on the film's box office performance. Zee Network has grabbed satellite rights for 50 crores while music rights are with Zee Music Company for 30 crores.## The budget of the movie is reportedly around 180 crores, excluding the remuneration of Salman Khan.
