Mumbai, August 5 - One of the greatest Bollywood musical romantic drama films Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, starring superstar Salman Khan and evergreen Madhuri Dixit in the leading roles, has completed 31 years since its release on 5 August 1994. ## Written, directed, and produced by Sooraj Barjatya in his second of the 4 collaborations with Salman Khan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun celebrates Indian wedding traditions using a story of a married couple and the relationship between their families, and a story about sacrificing one's love for one's family. ## At the time when mass action entertainers were dominating, Hum Aapke Hain Koun came as a breath of fresh air and not only changed the course of the industry but also set many box office records which looked impossible at that time.## The movie went on to win the national award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.
