Mumbai, September 6 - Book My Show, the Indian leading online ticketing platform, is having a bumper response for Shah Rukh Khan-fronted action thriller Jawan in the advance booking, and creating new records for an outright Hindi movie.## The advance booking of "Jawan" was opened on September 1st, and in just 5 days, the movie has sold over 1.1+ million tickets on Book My Show for all days. On its first day of pre-sales opening, it BMS sold 254K tickets, followed by 181.3K tix on the second day, 182.4K tix on the third day, 201.7K tix and 286.3K tix on the 4th and 5th day, respectively. ## Directed by Atlee Kumar, "Jawan" is expected to record its biggest day in advance booking today (September 6) on Book My Show as well as overall. BMS is expected to sold over 350K tickets alone today. ## The overall advance booking collection of the movie is nearing 30 crores gross for the opening day only with over 1 million tickets already sold while entire weekend pre-sales is over 40 crores. Directed by Atlee Kumar, the movie is having an excellent response in the pre-sales, not just in India but in international markets as well.## The movie, slated to release on September 7, is nearing 40 crores gross advance collection globally. In India, it has crossed 25 crores gross with approximately 910K tickets sold, as of 8 PM on September 5 for the opening day. The original Hindi-language is leading the pre-sales with approximately 23.75 crores gross with 815K tickets while Tamil version has generated 88 lakh with 57.4K tickets and Telugu version has grossed 46 lakh with 35.2K tickets so far.## In three national chains (PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis), "Jawan" has sold 340K tickets as of 6:15 PM on September 5. PVR and INOX have sold 280K tickets while Cinepolis has sold 60K tickets. At the time of writing this, the movie has crossed "Thugs of Hindostan's" 346K national chains tickets sold for the opening day. "Jawan" is likely to beat "Pathaan" (556K tickets) to score the highest-ever pre-sales for the opening day for a Bollywood movie.## Meanwhile, the advance booking response in the international markets for the movie is also sensational as it has so far sold tickets worth $1.56 million (13 crores), according to Pinkvilla. This is the biggest opening for an Indian movie this year in Japan, beating Ram Charan's "Rangasthalam" which grossed ¥10.1 million (₹60 lakh) with approximately 7200 admits.## "Pathaan's" total worldwide collection has now reached 1055 crores, including 397 crores overseas collection (updated). The movie was in June this year with the first look teaser on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of "Raanjhanaa".## Now, according to Tamil industry tracker Amutha Bharathi, the makers are in talks with one of the leading Bollywood actresses, Kiara Advani to play the female lead role. The talks are said to be in the final stage and the actress is more or less confirmed for the role. ## "Tere Ishk Mein" is a love story reportedly set in the backdrop of air force. It will mark Dhanush and Kiara's maiden collaboration if happens. As reported recently, the shoot of the movie is expected to commence in November this year in Utter Pradesh and it will be shot in a straight three-month schedule. ## The movie is helmed by Aanand L Rai and its story, dialogues, and screenplay are penned by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav. Mumbai, September 4 - The fifth installment of the blockbuster comedy film franchise "Housefull" is set to be the most expensive movie in the franchise yet and one of the costliest ever in Bollywood, according to the investment plans revealed by producer Sajid Nadiadwala to Variety.## During the interview with the Hollywood website, producer Sajid Nadiadwala revealed that he is investing INR10 billion ($121 million) in U.K.-based projects featuring industry A-listers. Akshay Kumar-fronted "Housefull 5", which is gearing up to commence the filming later this year, is budgeted at $48 million (~400 crores) to be produced under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.## "Housefull 5" will be Akshay and producer Nadiadwala's most expensive movie to-date. Interestingly, the combined budget of the previous four films in the franchise approximately 235 crores and they together grossed around 800 crores worldwide. ## Apart from "Housefull 5", Sajid Nadiadwala is also currently filming sports drama "Chandu Champion", starring Kartik Aaryan ("Satyaprem Ki Katha") and directed and co-produced by Kabir Khan ("83"), and it recently wrapped a month-long shooting schedule in the U.K. ## Nadiadwala is also planning to continue his association with Saudi Arabia, where the first three instalments of the Baaghi franchise, headlined by Tiger Shroff, were filmed.
