The 39-year-old filmmaker recently celebrated his birthday and is having an incredible birthday this year because he is "living and breathing 'Pathaan' every moment". ## "Pathaan" is arguably one of the most-anticipated films, releasing next year. The Yash Raj Films production has been in the making since 2020, but the makers revealed the first look poster and released date earlier this year and a recent glimpse of Deepika's look in the film went viral globally. John Abraham is also playing a prominent role in the movie.## "I'm thrilled with the unanimously positive response to every asset of the film that we have launched so far. Bengaluru, July 31 - Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeepa's action-adventure thriller film Vikrant Rona is out in theaters and doing very good at the box office. The film, directed by Anup Bhandari, has been hailed as one of the best 3D adventure films in India this year. ## While the film running successfully, the fans are already raving about "Vikrant Rona 2" as they think that the story has the potential to get a possible sequel. Kichcha Sudeepa, during a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, told about the same when a fan asked him whether Vikrant Rona 2 is coming or not. ## Sudeepa said that there is no planning to bring Vikrant Rona 2, not as of now. More importantly, the makers haven't even thought about the film's sequel. Meanwhile, the talented actor also revealed that he will be working on an intense action thriller film and things are developing on that front.## Kichcha will next be seen in the action thriller film "Kabza", which has been in production for a long time. The shoot of the film was recently done and the post-production work is going on currently. Directed by R Chandru, the movie also stars Upendra in the lead role, while Shriya Saran plays the female lead. ## "Kabza" revolves around a 1947 Gandhi follower and a freedom fighter and how they were brutally attacked. Due to unavoidable circumstances, the freedom fighter's son gets trapped in the mafia world and the story unfolds between 1947 to 1984. Mumbai, July 31 - Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor team up with director Nitesh Tiwari for a romantic actioner Bawaal. ## The film was announced in March this year and it is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment in association with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari's Earthsky Pictures. ## Touted to be the costliest film ever in Varun Dhawan's career, "Bawaal" filming has been completed today. The film has been shot in Paris, Berlin, Poland, Amsterdam, Krakow, and Warsaw along with a brief portion in India as well. ## Varun took to Instagram stories and announced that today (July 31) is the last day on Bawaal as they call wrap on it. ## Janhvi Kapoor had already completed the shoot of her part and with Varun calling wrap on it, the entire shoot of the film is done. Mumbai, July 31 - Actor and filmmaker R Madhavan's Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, based on the life of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, has been a silent success story at the box office in Hindi. It has been one of the films which went unnoticed in media headlines but found appreciation among its target audiences. ## When the movie was released on July 1st, it had a huge task in hand to deliver at the box office. The opening of the film in Hindi was approx. 95 lakh, and at that time, it looked like the film will also meet the other box office failures. However, with strong positive audiences' word of mouth and constant push by Madhavan through social media, the film started getting recognition and carried a consistent run at the box office on a lower level. ## The film managed to touch the hearts of the audience who respect the film as their own, which clearly reflected at the box office. The film has been 30 days since the movie was released in theaters and still running on a good number of screens. From the opening of 95 lakh, it has managed to collect more than 23 times till now for approx. 22.10 crores net (4 weeks), which is indeed a very big achievement. ## "Rocketry" is available on Voot but still getting footfalls in theaters. Chennai, July 31 - Legendary Kamal Haasan has reportedly started preparations to resume the filming of his highly-anticipated vigilante action thriller Indian 2, directed by maverick S Shankar. The filming of the sequel to Indian (1996) was halted following an accident on the sets in February 2020, but it is now expected to resume in September this year. ## Meanwhile, actress Kajal Aggarwal, who was supposed to play the female lead, is reportedly no more a part of the film. The actress is on voluntary maternity leave and was also removed from megastar Chiranjeevi's "Acharya" earlier this year. ## According to Bollywood Hungama, the makers of the film are not looking to cast either Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif. However, reports say they haven't been approached yet for the role. Post the success of "Vikram", the upcoming movie is also being designed as a pan-India film, ## Kamal Haasan-fronted first "Indian", which was released in 1996, starred Manisha Koirala and Urmila Matondkar as the female leads. Los Angeles, July 30 - Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio and filmmaker Martin Scorsese are joining forces again for their next film together, which is an adaptation of the upcoming David Grann nonfiction book, The Wager: A Tale of Shipwreck, Mutiny, and Murder, according to The Hollywood Reporter. ## The film rights of the book, due out in April 2023, have been acquired by Apple Original Films. Scorsese is attached to direct the movie, with DiCaprio set to headline. Interestingly, the duo is already working on "Killers of the Flower Moon", and as per THR, the key players and companies behind the film are also working on Wager. ## Set in the 1740s, Wager's story is set in motion when a patched-together boat with 30 emaciated men lands on the coast of Brazil. The men were the surviving crew of a British ship that was chasing a Spanish vessel and had crashed onto an island in South America’s Patagonia region. Their tales of surviving the seas and elements made them heroes.## However, six months later another vessel, even more, beat up than the first, showed up on the coat of Chile, this one with three sailors — who accuse the passengers on the other boat of being mutineers.## The British Admiralty launched a special trial to learn the truth about what actually occurred on the island as accusations and denials flew, according to the "Hollywood Reporter." The trial revealed a tale of a captain and crew struggling to survive while fending off some of the world's most extreme elements as well as struggling against their own human natures.## DiCaprio and Scorsese have regular collaborators in Hollywood and have worked together in 5 films, excluding the upcoming two projects. Russo Brothers were recently in India for the promotion of "The Gray Man" and they had a virtual meeting with Rajamouli as the trio set on to discuss their love for cinema. ## All three directors assert that action is the most broadly appealing genre to base their narratives on, despite their shared belief that movies should be anchored in emotion, which Rajamouli refers to as "the basement on which you can create this great extravaganza". ## Speaking about "RRR", Joe Russo said, "What I think is so amazing about [RRR] is the emotion it evokes, combined with the spectacle and this makes it perfectly done epic". Los Angeles, July 29 - Marvel Studios' president Kevin Feige announced a handful of upcoming Marvel titles at San Diego Comic-Con recently. Among studios' exciting line-up, Fiege also finally announced two more "Avengers" films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" and "Avengers: Secret Wars", releasing in 2025. ## The last Avengers movie was "Avengers: Endgame", which was released in 2019, so the gap between "Endgame" and the next in the franchise "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty", is officially 6 years which is the highest between two Avengers movies. There have been a total of four films released in the franchise so far, and there was three years gap between the first three films, while one year separated the releases of "Infinity War" and “Endgame".## Kevin Feige, meanwhile, has a point to justify the 6 years gap between "Avengers 4" and "Avengers 5", and also explained why the first 4 films didn't take much time. He was in conversation with MTV News (via variety). ## "The truth is, when we were doing Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3, there were less projects over more years. They were smaller projects and individual character stories, and it felt appropriate at that point, that after every two or three years that it took for a phase, we would do an 'Avengers' film", Feige said. ## "As [Phase] 4, 5 and 6 were coming together, there are more projects in less years – because of all the amazing stuff we're now allowed to do on Disney+, and getting characters from Fox, Fantastic Four and Deadpool — that it felt like, certainly after 'Infinity War' and 'Endgame', that we thought 'Avengers' movies aren't cappers. So many of our movies now and what you're about to see in 'Ant-Man 3', are big team-up films introducing big parts of the mythology... 'Avengers' films really should be the capper to a saga", he added.## "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" will be directed by "Shang-Chi" filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton while there is no director set yet for "Secret Wars", which will conclude MCU's "The Multiverse Saga" as the name of Marvel Phases 4-6.
