Five Confirmed MCU Titles That Weren't Announced At SDCC 2022

Los Angeles, July 27 - Marvel Studios once again has proved that it is way ahead of its competitors and certainly the biggest movie brand in the world. After the "Avengers: Endgame", there were a lot of questions about what is next in the store Marvel, but now, Marvel has answered all the questions at once by lining up titles till 2025. ## At the San Diego Cinema-Con 2022, held a couple of days ago, Marvel Studios revealed its theatrical and streaming plans till 2025 in Phase 5 and 6 apart from the ongoing Phase 4 which will conclude with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in November this year. Phase 5 will start with "Ant-Man 3" (Feb. 17, 2023) and will conclude with "Thunderbolts" (July 26, 2024). ## Taking a step ahead, Marvel also announced Phase 6, in which 11 titles have been announced, including two new Avengers movies that will release in May and November 2025 and "Fantastic Four" (Nov. 8, 2024). Meanwhile, Marvel also confirmed the release dates of 8 untitled movies in Phase 6. While the studio surprisingly has not revealed the titles of those films, there are at least 5 projects that are confirmed to fill those slots. ## 1. Shang-Chi 2 - The sequel to 2021's blockbuster has already been announced and will surely take one of the slots in Phase 6. Director Destin Daniel Cretton, who has been attached to direct "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty", will return to helm "Shang-Chi 2" while Simu Liu will be reprising the title role. ## 2. Deadpool 3 - Another anticipated Marvel movie that was not announced officially at Cinema-Con but it will come out sometimes in 2024 or 2025. Ryan Reynolds will return to reprise his role in this R-rated film. Deadpool 3 writer Rhett Reese recently teased the plot details and confirmed that the movie will keep its R-rated tone. ## 3. Spider-Man 4 - Sony Pictures confirmed after the release of "Spider-Man: No Way Home" that they are working on one more Spider-Man trilogy with Tom Holland. It is almost confirmed that the next Spider-Man movie will debut in Phase 6 and is likely to release in late 2024. ## 4. Nova - Earlier this year, Deadline reported that "Moon Knight" writer Sabir Pirzada has been attached to write a Nova project for Marvel. While it is not yet confirmed whether it will be a feature film or a limited series for Disney+, it will surely debut in Phase 6. If reports are to be believed, it will be a feature film. ## 5. Armor Wars - One of the most exciting projects that was not announced in SDCC 2022, due to unknown reasons. However, the show's head writer Yassir Lester confirmed that the show hasn't been canceled. Though there is no shooting timeline set yet, the show will most likely to release in MCU's Phase 6. ## Apart from the aforementioned titles that are almost confirmed to release in Phase 6, the other projects that could fill these gaps are The Mutants or another X-Men series/film, Young Avengers, Hawkeye Season 2, Eternals 2, the already-announced Ten Rings series, a Wakanda series, Doctor Strange 3, and Thor 5. ## Stay tuned...

Los Angeles, July 27 - Disney Plus is preparing for its next and probably the most unique series "I Am Groot". The adorably chaotic Baby Groot, one of the Guardians of the Galaxy, is set to headline his first own show on the streamer. ## "I Am Groot" is Marvel Studios' second fully animated Disney+ series after "What If...?". The upcoming series consists of five shorts that make up the entire series. These shorts will all premiere at once on Wednesday, August 10 on Disney+/Disney+Hotstar. ## It will be a completely different series in the MCU, meaning nothing Groot does in this show will have any effect on the live-action Guardians movies. This new series will give a fun look into the fan-favorite Guardian of the Galaxy, also called a hero of a few words as he takes on his own battles and challenges. ## Meanwhile, the first critics' reactions to the series are out online two weeks before it officially debuts on the streamer. Los Angeles, July 27 - Netflix is expanding the "The Gray Man" universe and officially confirmed a direct sequel and a spinoff to the Russo Brother spy action thriller film. Following the Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans-led film's arrival on Netflix this past Friday, which debuted at #1 on Netflix, the streamer is making plans for the film to be just the first piece of a "major spy franchise".## The sequel will see Ryan Gosling and director duo Joe and Anthony Russo, and co-writer Stephen McFeely, returning. Russo Brothers are super excited about the worldwide response to the movie that clocked nearly 88.5 million viewing hours in the first three days and opened in the top 10 in 93 countries. ## "The audience reaction to The Gray Man has been nothing short of phenomenal. We are so appreciative of the enthusiasm that fans across the world have had for this film. With so many amazing characters in the movie, we had always intended for the Gray Man to be part of an expanded universe, and we are thrilled that Netflix is announcing a sequel with Ryan, as well as a second script that we're excited to talk about soon", Russo Brother said. ## Apart from the direct sequel, Netflix is also developing the spinoff of the film that will explore a different element of The Gray Man universe. This untitled spinoff will be scribed by Deadpool writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.## The Gray Man opened to poor critics' reviews as it currently sits at a 48% critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes, however, the audience score is excellent with 91%. It grossed an epic $2.8 billion worldwide, becoming the second biggest film ever. ## With new superheroes along with a few old ones taking center stage in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel-head Kevin Feige has announced at San Diego Comic-Con a couple of days ago that the Avengers are assembling once again with back-to-back movies set for 2025.## While there will be many films before the next Avengers movie "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" releases, Marvel Studio has already started prepping on the creative front for this mega movie and attached "Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings" director Destin Daniel Cretton to direct it, as per The Hollywood Reporter. ## Cretton is just one film old in Marvel but he proved his mettle by directing one of the best solo Marvel movies last year, and now, he is earning a well-deserved award with "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty". Destin will most likely return to direct the "Shang-Chi" sequel before starting the new Avengers movie. The duo is currently working on, probably the biggest film for them, Prabhas-fronted "Adipurush", and it is said that Bhushan Kumar left super impressive with Raut and signed him for more films. ## Om Raut made his Hindi directorial debut with Ajay Devgn's "Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior", which was co-produced by T-Series. The film became a massive hit and Om Raut's direction was praised to the top. On top of that, the movie was awarded National Award for Best Film in Providing Wholesome Entertainment along with Devgn winning the Best Actor award. ## The deal between Om Raut and T-Series is said to be existing much before the release of Tanhaji and now, the duo is further strengthening their collaboration by doing more films together. ## It has been reported that Bhushan Kumar has great belief in Om Raut's vision as a filmmaker and has provided him with the budgets that justify the scale of the film. Mumbai, July 26 - Marvel Studios' Disney Plus shows dominated the Indian market in the first half of 2022 as far as the international shows are concerned. Ormax Media, which tracks viewership data for the Indian and international streaming titles in India, has released the list of most-watched shows in the first half of 2022 in India. ## The Oscar Isaac-fronted Marvel superhero series Moon Knight scored the highest viewership among the international shows in India in the first half of 2022. The 6-episode series scored 23.4 million views since its debut on March 30. The first episode of the series was released on March 30 on Disney+Hotstar and it ended with the 6th episode on May 4. ## The second most-viewed international show in India also belonged to Marvel/Disney+ in the form of Iman Vellani-headed Ms. Marvel. It scored 16.7 million views till June 30th, after debuting on June 8. "Ms. Marvel" is the highest-rated MCU title (films or shows) on Rotten Tomatoes of all time with a 98% critics score. ## Meanwhile, Netflix's global smash hit Stranger Things season 4, which is the most-watched English show on Netflix of all time, remained the 3rd most-viewed international show in India with 15.8 million views. Season 4 of this sci-fi horror series was released in two parts - the first part of 7 episodes debuted on May 27 while the remaining two episodes in part 2 were released on July 1st.## Since Ormax Media has measured viewership data till June 30th, it is clear that the final two episodes of "Stranger Things 4" were not considered, otherwise, it would have easily topped "Ms. Marvel" to become the second most international show in India. The Boys S3 on Amazon Prime Video finished the first half of 2022 at number 4 with 9.6 million views while the Korean coming-of-age zombie apocalypse horror series All of Us Are Dead remained the 5th most-viewed series in India with 7.8 million views.## Note: Ormax Media's viewership methodology includes the number of people who watched the show (at least one full episode). The actor headlined Disney+Hotstar's psychological crime thriller web series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, which has emerged as the most-watched Hindi web series in the first half of 2022 (1st Jan - June 30th). ## Directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, "Rudra: The Edge of Darkness" has scored 35.2 million views so far, according to Ormax Media. The 6-episode series, which is a remake of the British series "Luther", was released on March 4 and becomes the most-watched show this year. ## "Aashram" season 3, starring Bobby Deol, is the second most-watched Hindi show this year so far. Released on June 3rd, the 10-episode show has garnered 34.3 million views on MX Player while Jitendra Kumar's "Panchayat" second season scored 29.6 million views on Amazon Prime Video and is the 3rd most Hindi show this year. ## Meanwhile, Yami Gautam-starrer critically hailed thriller film A Thursday topped the feature film chart on the digital platform. Directed by Behzad Khambata, the movie was released directly on Disney Plus Hotstar on February 17 and emerged as the most-watched Hindi film this year so far, as per the Ormax Media study. ## Director Shakun Batra's romantic drama film on modern relationships, "Gehraiyaan" is the second most-watched Hindi film with 22.3 million views. It stars Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa in lead roles and it received mixed to negative reviews upon its direct release on Amazon Prime Video on February 11. ## The biographical sports drama "Kaun Pravin Tambe?" starring Shreyas Talpade as Pravin Tambe scored 20.2 million views so far and is number 3 among the highest-viewed Hindi films of 2022. The clip is set to The Flaming Lips' 'Do You Realize'. The trailer also confirms 'Borat 2' Oscar nominee Maria Balakova is playing Cosmo the Space Dog".## The upcoming movie will be the final film in James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy" trilogy, as confirmed by Gunn himself. It was launched on a Saturday night at around 9:20 pm ET while most of the studios opt to have their trailer debut early on weekday mornings and take advantage of the workday re-watch factor, which was not the case with the upcoming Marvel tentpole. ## Variety also reports that the teaser also set social media ablaze, with topics relating to "Black Panther" garnering over 893,000 mentions. Superstar Salman Khan Confirmed 'Bhaijaan' Title For Farhad Samji's Directorial

Mumbai, July 25 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has put a brake on the speculations regarding the title of his next film that is currently in production under the direction of Farhad Samji. Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead in the film. ## The movie was originally announced as "Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali", however, after Sajid Nadiadwala parted ways from the movie, it was reported that Salman Khan changed the title to "Bhaijaan". Since the new title wasn't made official, it led to confusion regarding the real title.## Salman Khan has now confirmed during the pre-release event of "Vikrant Rona" in Mumbai that the title of this action comedy indeed changed to "Bhaijaan" and also confirmed that Venkatesh is playing an important role. The Telugu star is making his Hindi comeback after more than 25 years. ## Meanwhile, the "Sultan" actor has also hinted that his next after "Bhaijaan" would be Anees Bazmee's "No Entry Mein Entry". Bazmee was also invited to attend the pre-release event of VR, which is scheduled to release on July 28. Salman Khan Films will present the Hindi version of the film. ## "It's a very nice film. I watched it the day before yesterday. Sudeep showed it to me at home only. I will watch it again before it releases on the big screen. And I watched the rushes throughout the shoot.
