Pan Indian superstar Prabhas' The Raja Saab and Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay's Jana Nayagan have locked in for a tight battle as far as pre-sales are concerned. With both films slated for a January 9 release, with premieres scheduled for January 8, the overseas market, especially the US, has become a key battleground for the two potential mega blockbusters, setting the tone for what could be one of the biggest South Indian box office face-offs of very early 2026, a year, that can redefine the true potential of Indian cinema.
