Mumbai, July 17, 2021: Salman Khan's Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was put on hold for more than a year to give it a theatrical release. It was finally set to release in theaters on May 13, but the prevailing second wave of the covid-19 pandemic forced makers to change their plans. However, this time the makers were not in a mood to delay the release anymore, and hence, they opt for simultaneous OTT release via pay-per-view model and theaters on May 13. ## As theaters were closed in India when Radhe release, the movie automatic became a direct-to-digital release, leaving theatrical business gasping. It was in June when the Maharasthra government allowed theaters to reopen in areas where the covid-19 situation was under control. Upon the reopening of cinemas, Radhe released on the big screens, even though only limited screens were available. While the box office collection was nowhere close to the pre-covid era, it was still increasing to see the audiences stepping out from their houses to watch the movie. ## Recently, the Rajasthan and Utter Pradesh governments also permitted the reopening of cinemas with 50% capacity. Before started screening in Rajasthan on July 13, Radhe had collected around Rs. 1.80 lakh across theaters. From Tuesday onwards, Radhe witness a sharp growth in the collection. ## The movie premiered on iconic single-screen theaters, Raj Mandir, and collected approx 25k on Tuesday, 25.3k on Wednesday, 31.5k on Thursday, and around 36k on Friday. On the other hand, Radhe reportadly released at 5 properties in UP on Friday and collected around 60k from 10 shows. Including Rajasthan and UP's collection, Radhe has so far earned approx. 3.30 lakh. ## The box office collection of Radhe in India should be taken positively considering the fact that the movie is almost two months old and received negative reviews from every corner of the country. It shows that the audience is willing to go out to watch movies in theaters if they get a chance. Mumbai, May 27, 2021: Kamaal R Khan, who starred in the film Deshdrohi, put out a series of tweets on Wednesday alleging that the Bollywood actor Salman Khan has filed a defamation case against him for reviewing his recently released film, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. ## Now, DSK Legal - the official advocates for Mr. Salman Khan and Salman Khan Ventures have issued a statement regarding the matter. While the legal team of Salman accepts that they have sent a legal notice to KRK, it is not for reviewing Radhe but defaming the actor's image from the last several months just to draw his attention. ## "Mr. Kamaal R Khan, the Defendant, has put out a series of tweets and videos alleging that Mr. Salman Khan has sued him for defamation because the Defendant reviewed the film, Radhe. This is incorrect", their statement reads (according to Box Office Worldwide).## "The suit has been filed as the Defendant has been publishing and endorsing defamatory allegations, including that Mr. Salman Khan is corrupt, that he and his brand Being Human are involved in fraud, manipulation, and money laundering transactions. Defendant has been spreading malicious falsehoods and defaming Mr. Salman Khan consistently over several months, clearly with a view to draw attention to himself", the statement further stated. ## KRK, on May 25, shared the legal notice on the microblogging site, Twitter, and said that Salman sued him for reviewing his film. It was a move, many expected, will bring the change of releasing movies going forward. ## However, since the pay-per-view model is completely new to the Indian audience, especially for the masses, people are wondering whether this move did benefit ZeePlex, which is the primary partner of Radhe. According to data shared by Zee, Radhe gained a massive number of views, around 4.2 million or approx Rs. 105 crores, on day 1. ## However, trade analysts believe that the pay-per-view model is impractical, given rampant piracy. According to Shailesh Kapoor of Ormax Media, which specializes in media research and tracking, a "Radhe" like the film is expected to get at least 30 million lifetime views, which is looking unlikely in this case. He also said that the pay-per-view model is premature in India to give a try. ## "Our estimates suggest that about eight to 10 million have viewed the film, with four million having watched it on the first day. But to gauge whether the pay-per-view model is sustainable, using Radhe as an example, is premature. The film hasn't been appreciated. One would expect a film like this to get 30 million lifetime views. Laxmmi got about 20 million views. But that movie had the benefit of being on Disney+Hotstar, whose viewership is four times that of any other platform", Shailesh Kapoor, according to mid-day. ## It is not necessary to say that piracy has been a big issue in India. Mumbai, May 11, 2021: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has apologized to theater owners who were hoping actor's upcoming film, "Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai" to release in theaters and help them recover their losses due to the covid-19 pandemic. ## Directed by Prabhudheva, the movie will start streaming on multiple platforms, including OTT and DTH services, on May 13 at the festival of Eid. It will also release in theaters whenever they are open in India, though most of the states have shut the cinemas due to the second covid-19 wave. ## "I apologize to cinema owners who were hoping to earn profits with the release of this film. We waited as long as we could, hoping that this pandemic would end and we would be able to release in theatres all over the country. But that did not happen. We don't know when things will go back to normal", Salman Khan told reporters in a roundtable interview from Mumbai. ## "I couldn't have kept my Eid commitment with fans without the support of ZEE. It was important to release the film at a time like this because people are suffering due to the pandemic. Incomes have reduced for many, so now, instead of spending a lot of money on tickets at the cinemas, people can watch it at a much cheaper rate at home. DSP Recreated 'Seeti Maar' Song To Suit Salman Khan's Image

Mumbai, April 25, 2021: Famous music composer, Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), who is popularly known for working in Telugu cinema, has reunited with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in the upcoming movie Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. ## After "Dhinka Chika" song from the film "Ready", DSP has now composed "Seeti Maar" song for the superstar. The song, which is a dance number, will be out on Monday (April 26). The music composer has recreated the song which was originally composed for Allu Arjun starrer "Duvvada Jagannadham" in 2017. ## Talking about the recreated version, he says that it has been done keeping in mind the image that Salman enjoys in Bollywood. "I have recreated the entire song to suit Salman's image whilst retaining its soul. He called me and shared his feedback on how the song sounds terrific", DSP said. ## The composer hopes that the song is appreciated by the audience as well. "We hope that the audiences enjoy the number as much as we enjoyed making it. It is a fun song that will keep you grooving", he added. ## Seetimaar is the first single releasing from Radhe which also stars Disha Patani. The lyrics of the song has been penned by Shabbir Ahmed while Kamal Khan and Lulia Vantur have sung it. The movie, Radhe will be released on May 13 in theaters as well as multiple digital platforms simultaneously. ## Stay tuned...
