Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon's 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' Final Worldwide Box Office Collection

Mumbai, April 2 - Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon finally scored a success in the form of romantic-comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the film was released during Valentine's Day week on February 9. ## The Maddock Films and Jio Studios' production wasn't loved by most critics but audiences showered praise towards the film that translated into a box office hit. TBMAUJ opened to decent numbers of approximately 6.70 crores net, followed by the opening weekend of 28+ crores net. ## The movie showed consistency during the weekdays and jumped on weekends to stay afloat and did enough to emerge a much-needed box office success for the lead actors. The movie's box office run is almost completed with a domestic gross collection of over 100 crores (85 crores net). ## Overseas, TBMAUJ has had a good run as it grossed an estimated 40 crores, and combined with the domestic collection of approximately 101.25 crores, the movie minted an estimated 141+ crores worldwide. Producer Boney Kapoor Shares Update On Mr. India 2

Mumbai, April 1 - Anil Kapoor-fronted Mr. India (1987) is one of the most iconic Bollywood films. Directed by Sekhar Kapoor, the movie also starred the late actors Amrish Puri, Sridevi, and Satish Kaushik among others and it went on to become a huge success. ## Over the years, Mr. India gained cult status and there have been frequent calls for its sequel. Boney Kapoor, who produced this iconic movie, finally shared updates on the same and confirmed that Mr. India 2 will happen and an overseas studio will be joining hands with him for the same. ## "I've had a couple of meetings with a big overseas studio who are very seen to join hands with us. It could be a collaboration for a foreign studio, Zee and me. The idea is to make Mr India again. It could happen this year, it could happen next year or the following year", Boney Kapoor said in an interview with News18. ## The filmmaker further said that Mr. India 2 may not be a sequel, it could just be a reboot or whatever. Mumbai, March 30 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan scored the biggest blockbuster of his career in the form of spy action thriller Pathaan in January last year. The Yash Raj Films production, directed by Siddharth Anand, grossed around 1050 crores worldwide and was one of the biggest Indian grossers of 2023. ## The mighty box office performance of Pathaan had almost confirmed nothing but an inevitable sequel. It was recently reported that YRF has started working on Pathaan 2 with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone returning to reprise their roles from the first movie. ## According to the latest report by Peepingmoon.com, the shoot of Pathaan 2 will commence by the end of 2024, however, director Siddharth Anand won't be helming the upcoming movie. The actor has reunited with producer Sajid Nadiadwala for an untitled film, to be directed by A.R.Murugadoss. ## It was reported yesterday that the film in question was Kick 2, however, Nadiadwala clarified on social media that it wasn't the one speculated by media but confirmed that the studio indeed working on a film with Murugadoss and Salman which has now been officially confirmed. ## The shoot of the movie is expected to commence in the next couple of months and it will be a grand worldwide release on Eid 2025. Mumbai, March 11 - After the very good first-weekend collection with 54 crores net, Ajay Devgn-fronted Shaitaan sees a drop of over 60% on its first Monday and the same is around 50% from Friday on which the collection benefitted by Maha Shivratri holiday. ## According to early estimates, the supernatural thriller mints 6.75-7.25 crores net collection on its first Monday, which takes the total collection to around 61 crores in 4 days. The drop from Sunday as well as from Friday is slightly higher than normal but can be called a decent hold as the biz gets hit during Ramazan days. ## Shaitaan has been made on a controlled budget and a consistent performance from here on will take it to a healthy total. The movie, however, needs to show solid consistency during the weekdays to make sure it doesn't drop further beyond normal decline and that would take it to around 77 crores in the full first week. The film emerged as a success but it might not turn into that huge hit which looked like a possibility after the very good weekend collection.## Meanwhile, Article 370, starring Yami Gautam collects an estimated 85 lakh net on its third Monday. Mumbai, March 9 - After a very good start at the box office with close to 15 crores net, Ajay Devgn-fronted supernatural thriller Shaitaan jumps by over 20% on Saturday which is again a very good result for a thriller genre, backed by positive word of mouth. ## On its second day/first Saturday, Shaitaan scored an estimated 18-19 crores net collection, pushing the total to around 33 crores net in two days.
