Mumbai, May 31 - Universal Pictures' action thriller film Fast X has turned into a big success at the Indian box office. The Vin Deisel-fronted movie is performing well during the second week and has crossed the 100 crores net box office mark in all versions. ## The 10th main installment in the "Fast & Furious" franchise scored around 100.15 crores net collection in 14 days after scoring 2.05 crores on its second Wednesday. It has become the first Hollywood movie to enter the 100 crores net club in India.## The last Hollywood movie to enter the Century box office club in India was James Cameron's all-time blockbuster "Avatar: The Way of Water" which went on to score over 390 crores in all languages. Overall, "Fast X" is the 11th Hollywood movie of all time and 5th post the covid-19 pandemic to breach the 100 crores mark in India. ## Language-wise, the Hindi version is leading the overall collection of "Fast X" with 47.60 crores, followed by the original English version with 45.61 crores while other versions have scored around 5 crores net through 2nd Tuesday. ## At the worldwide box office, "Fast X" has topped $500 million. Mumbai, May 28 - Vin Diesel-fronted action thriller Fast X has crossed 100 crores gross at the Indian box office, becoming the first Hollywood movie of the year to do so. ## Directed by Louis Leterrier, "Fast X" crossed the century mark on its second Saturday, taking the total collection to around 105 crores after 10 days. It is also performing well today (2nd Sunday) and is likely to rack in another 7 crores for around 112 crores gross through the second weekend. ## In one of the rarest cases, the Hindi version of the film is performing better than the original English language as it has earned approximately 54 crores gross while the English version has collected around 52 crores through the second Sunday. Tamil and Telugu version has earned over 6 crores. ## As far as net collection is concerned, "Fast X" has earned around 93.50 crores in all languages. It will enter the 100 crores mark this week.## Meanwhile, the 10th installment in the "Fast & Furious" franchise topped $500 million at the global box office on Sunday. Mumbai, May 25 - Vin Diesel-fronted Hollywood action thriller Fast X was the first choice of Indian moviegoers this week, and rightly so, it scored one of the biggest opening weeks for a non-superhero Hollywood titles in India. ## "Fast & Furious" is one of the most loved Hollywood franchises in India and the 10th installment has lived up to the expectations. The movie was released on Thursday (May 18), and despite the mid-week release, it scored a very good 4-day weekend with approx. 60 crores net (71 crores gross) collection. ## The high-octane actioner remained steady during the weekdays which helped it to post around 79+ crores net in the extended 8-day first week. This is the second-biggest opening week total for a non-superhero Hollywood title in India, after "The Lion King" (2019) which scored 81+ crores net collection. ## "Fast X" is approaching 100 crores net club and it will breach this mark mostly during the second week. The latest in the list is Universal Pictures' high-octane action thriller Fast X which had the biggest opening weekend of the "Fast & Furious" franchise in India. ## The 10th main installment in the franchise, "Fast X" was released on Thursday, May 18, and took a good opening. It got mixed word of mouth but Despite that, the movie witnessed an upward trend over the weekend to score a fantastic 71 crores gross ($8.6 million) 4-day weekend. ## The Louis Leterrier's directorial held well on the make-or-break first Monday by grossing over 7 crores and remained steady since then which has ensured a healthy lifetime gross total in India of the movie. Los Angeles, May 21 - The 10th main installment in the Universal Pictures' "Fast & Furious" franchise, Fast X has an excellent opening weekend at the worldwide box office. ## The high-octane action thriller scored $318.50 million (2640 crores) worldwide in its opening weekend, including $67 million at the domestic (North America) box office. Domestically, the movie opened slightly lower than the last movie "F9 - The Fast Saga" which grossed $70 million.## While the movie scored on the expected lines in North America, it surpassed expectations internationally by grossing $251.50 million over the 5-day weekend. China was the biggest market for the movie with $78.30 million over a 5-weekend weekend, including previews.## Meanwhile, the Louis Leterrier's directorial flick scored a fantastic 4-day opening weekend in India, grossing an estimated 71 crores ($8.6 million) or 60 crores net collection. This is the biggest opening for a Hollywood title in India this year, outgrossing Marvel's "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania". ## Overall, $319 million of "Fast X" is the second biggest worldwide opening of 2023, behind only "The Super Mario Bros. Los Angeles, May 20 - Universal Pictures' action thriller Fast X is all set to score above the initial box office projections at the worldwide box office. ## The Louis Leterrier's directorial latest installment in the "Fast and Furious" franchise shoot to $28 million Friday opening day, including $7.5 million Thursday previews, at the domestic box office. ## According to Variety, the movie is expected to gross another $22.40 million on Saturday and $16.80 million on Sunday for a $67 million opening weekend. This opening is around 4% lesser than "F9: The Fast Saga" which opened to $70 million in 2021.## Internationally, "Fast X" is estimated to earn over $250 million in its 5-day opening weekend for around $320 million worldwide launch. Mumbai, May 17 - Hollywood films are having a good time at the Indian box office as recently released two low-profile films "John Wick: Chapter 4" and "Evil Dead Rise" emerged as surprise hits with the former went to scoring over 50 crores net collection.## Marvel Studios' "Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3" is also performing well and is nearing the 50 crores net mark. This momentum is expected to be continued as Universal Pictures' much-awaited Fast X, which is a bigger Hollywood IP than the aforementioned two films, is releasing next on this Thursday, May 18. ## The 10th installment of the "Fast & Furious" franchise is among the most-awaited Hollywood films, and keeping that in mind, the advance booking for the same was opened a month ago. As the release is getting nearer, the advance booking has started picking the pace and is already better than "GoTG3".## "Fast X" has sold approx. 170K advance tickets worth 4.50 crores gross for the opening day. As per reports, the movie would be released on around 2500 screens in India, so the double-digit opening is very much on the table, and if it gets favorable word of mouth, then it is sure to have a very good lifetime collection. Dwayne Johnson Reportedly Returns To The 'Fast and Furious' Franchise

Los Angeles, May 13 - The Fast and Furious saga is one step closer to its end but it can't get done without one of the franchise's biggest assets, Dwayne Johnson. ## Dwayne Johnson, who last appeared in the Fast & Furious spin-off "Hobbs & Shaw" in 2019, previously told that he would never be making his comeback in the franchise, but it seems that has become a thing of the past as according to The Wrap, the Hollywood superstar is all set for one final ride in the franchise.## As per the report, Dwayne Johnson has returned to the "Fast and Furious" franchise, making an appearance in the post-credits sequence for the upcoming Fast X, which releases next week on May 19.## The return of The Rock may surprise many as he was adamant about not making a comeback to the blockbuster action series after having some issues with Vin Diesel, the star and producer of the franchise. Diesel, however, requested Johnson to put the issues aside and come back to the series, in an Instagram post in November 2021.## In another surprising news, there could be the 12th film in the franchise after Vin Diesel said that Universal Pictures has asked if "Fast X" could be turned into a trilogy. Over the last two decades, "Fast & Furious" has left a huge mark on worldwide audiences with the high-octane adrenaline-pumping actioners. ## It has been one of the most successful Hollywood film franchises with over $6.6 billion worldwide box office across the previous 10 films.
