Jr. NTR and Director Trivikram's Next Together To Be A Big-Budget Mythology Film

Hyderabad, February 15 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR is gearing up to kickstart the filming of his much-awaited Pan Indian biggie, tentatively titled "NTR30". It will be directed by Koratala Siva who previously directed NTR in "Janatha Garage" which was a massive hit. ## After "NTR30", the "RRR" star will start director Prashanth Neel's action thriller. It will again be made in multiple languages. Meanwhile, in 2021, the actor announced his collaboration with director Trivikram Srinivas after a successful stint with "Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava". However, due to some reasons, the movie couldn't go on floors and was seemingly canceled by the makers. ## Now, it has been revealed that the movie wasn't canceled and was only postponed due to some reasons. Hyderabad, February 13 - Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is busy with the shooting of director Trivikram Srinivas' action entertainer, tentatively titled "SSMB 28". The shoot commenced last month after some delay but now going at a brisk pace. ## "SSMB28" marks the third collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Trivikram after "Athadu" and "Khaleja", and it features Pooja Hegde as the female lead opposite Babu. Hyderabad, February 11 - The Film Federation of India (FFI) left everyone stunned when it picked the Gujarati movie "The Chhello Show" (Last Film Show) as India's official entry for Oscars 2023, over SS Rajamouli's "RRR" which has been winning accolades internationally and getting wide recognition. ## "Last Film Show" though did receive critical acclaim but failed to score nominations in the Best International Feature Film category which further widened the criticism for FFI for not picking "RRR". Meanwhile, Ram Charan, who plays the role of Ramaraju in the film, finally reacts to the decision. ## During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ram Charan said that he was not entirely surprised by the decision but was a little disappointed that the movie was not picked.## "I really don't understand the process of selection. Hyderabad, January 16 - Director Prashanth Neel is in red hot demand after delivering one of the biggest blockbusters of Indian cinema in the form of Yash-fronted "KGF: Chapter 2". The maverick filmmaker is currently directing superstar Prabhas in "Salaar" and will next team up with Jr. NTR. ## Now, according to the latest reports, the duo of Prabhas and Neel would be reuniting after "Salaar". It is said that Telugu producer Dil Raju will produce a period action drama film titled "Ravanam" with director Prashanth Neel and Prabhas will be playing the lead role. ## Dil Raju, who has just delivered a big hit in the form of Thalapathy Vijay's "Varisu", has reportedly confirmed three larger-than-life films that will be mounted on the heavy VFX. While "Ravanam" is with Neel, the other two films, titled "Jatayu" and "VishwamBhara" will be directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti and Kolanu Sailesh, respectively. ## The buzz regarding Prabhas' second film with Neel and producer Dil Raju has been making noise since 2021 and now, with Dil Raju confirming his collaboration with Neel, the mega project looks inevitable with Prabhas headlining it. It is said to be a socio-fantasy and mythological Pan India film. ## Prabhas, meanwhile, is super busy with back-to-back films. He is currently shooting for "Salaar" along with the most-anticipated "Project K" with Nag Ashwin and director Maruthi's untitled movie. 'RRR' Wins Two Honours At The Critics Choice Awards 2023

Los Angeles, January 16 - SS Rajamouli's mega movie RRR is continuing its awards hunt on the International stage, and ahead of the big Oscars nominations, the epic period action drama bags two more top honors. ## Starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, "RRR" has been awarded the Best Foreign Language Film at the Critics Choice Awards 2023. The movie was nominated with Golden Globe winner, "Argentina, 1985", as well as, "All Quiet on the Western Front", "Decision to Leave", "Close", and "Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths". ## "Naatu Naatu" from "RRR" has won the Best Song at the awards. Early Estimates: Waltair Veerayya Rocks Mammoth Third Day; Veera Simha Reddy Is Good On Its Fourth Day

Hyderabad, January 15 - Megastar Chiranjeevi hits jackpot on the festival of Sankranthi 2023 in the form of action drama film Waltair Veerayya. Directed by Bobby, the movie has completed its 3-day opening weekend on a blockbuster note. ## After grossing approx. 57 crores in the first two days, "Waltair Veerayya" witnesses another mammoth day at the domestic box office as it scores an estimated 22+ crores gross on its third day/first Sunday to push the total collection to around 80 crores gross. ## Also starring Ravi Teja in a pivotal role, "Waltair Veerayya" scored approx. 35 crores share collection in the Telugu states in the first two days. The share collection on Sunday is likely to be in the range of 12 crores, for around 47 crores share in the opening weekend, which is more than 50% of the total business of the film. ## "Waltair Veerayya" also has a shot at crossing 100 crores gross worldwide in the opening weekend. Including today's estimated domestic collection, the worldwide total of the film is around 93 crores. SSMB 28: Superstar Mahesh Babu's Next To Release In August 2023

Hyderabad, January 15 - Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu reunites with director Trivikram Srinivas for his next film, tentatively titled SSMB 28. The shoot for the same commenced last year but the actor reportedly wasn't happy with the script and how the shoot was progressing as the makers scrapped the shot portions to plan things differently. ## Despite the issues, it didn't take makers too long to rectify those, and now, the makers are ready to start production from January 18, confirmed by producer Naga Vamsi. Early Estimates: Waltair Veerayya Scores Excellent Second Day; Veera Simha Reddy Does Well On The Third Day

Hyderabad, January 14 - Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja's action drama Waltair Veerayya has had an excellent opening day at the domestic box office for approx. 35 crores. The movie managed to outdo conservative opening-day expectations and put up very good numbers. ## Directed by Bobby, "Waltair Veerayya" got mixed to positive responses and despite that, the movie sees a phenomenal hold on the second day. As per the early estimates, the film grossed 20+ crores on its second day, dropping below 40%. The share collection on the second day is approx. 13 crores.## The total domestic gross collection of "Waltair Veerayya" after two days is approx. 56 crores gross while the share collection is around 36 crores, which is approx. 40% of the total business of the movie. The advance booking for Sunday is excellent for the movie, indicating another big day at the box office for it. ## Meanwhile, Nandamuri Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy had a huge drop of approx. 75% on the second day for 10 crores gross. It witnesses a good jump of around 40% on its 3rd day for an estimated 14+ crores gross. Hyderabad, January 13 - Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja's action drama film Waltair Veerayya is off to an excellent start at the box office. Despite the mixed reviews and audiences' responses, the Bobby-directed film utilizes the Sankranthi holiday. ## As per the early estimates, "Waltair Veerayya" grossed an estimated 33+ crores on the opening day. The share collection is expected to be 20+ crores, which is almost 1/4 of the total business of the movie.## "Waltair Veerayya" has a much better opening than Chiranjeevi's last release "Godfather" which opened to around 24 crores gross last year. The latest tentpole could have taken an even bigger start if it had got a solo release as there is also Nandamuri Balakrishna's "Veera Simha Reddy". ## Meanwhile, "Veera Simha Reddy", which opened to the biggest start for an Indian movie in 2023 with a domestic gross collection coming in close to 40 crores, has a drop on its second day. As per the early estimates, the movie dropped in the range of 60% for an estimated 10+ crores gross. The final numbers on the second day can go to 12-13 crores depending the night shows. ## The Gopichand-directed movie gets affected due by "Waltair Veerayya" as the screen count reduced drastically but still, the second-day numbers are poor considering the huge opening.
