Akshay Kumar's 'Bhooth Bangla' With Director Priyadarshan Casts Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Asrani
Mumbai, September 11 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar reunited with director Priyadarshan for a horror-comedy film, titled Bhooth Bangla. This marks the second horror-comedy for the duo after the iconic, Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), and their first collaboration in 14 years since Khataa Meetha (2010). ## According to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the makers have got back some of the cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa for Bhooth Bangal. It is said that the OG Trio of Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Asrani have come on board the film to play prominent roles. ## "It's the return of the team which has brought about a smile on the face of cinema-going audiences from across generations. Bhooth Bangla is a perfect script that warrants their reunion, as every character has a trait that would evoke laughter", says the report. ## The pre-production of Bhooth Bangla is going on in full swing and the makers aim to take it on floors by early 2025 for a grand big-screen release later in the year. The report also states that the casting for the female leads is underway as the makers are looking to cast 3 actresses for the film. ## As known to all, Bhooth Bangla marks the seventh collaboration of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan after Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhaag, Garam Masala, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, De Dana Dan and Khatta Meetha.
