Mumbai, May 15 - A day after it was reported that Telugu superstar Jr. NTR is in talks to play the Father of Indian Cinema, Dadasaheb Phalke, on the big screen in the movie titled Made In India, it has now been announced that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani are reuniting for the Dadasaheb Phalke's biopic. ## Aamir and Hirani, who previously worked together in 3 Idiots (2008) and PK (2024), have been in talks for their third collaboration, which has now been officially confirmed. It will be Aamir Khan's immediate next project after Sitaare Zameen Par, which releases on June 20 this year. ## The shoot of the yet untitled biopic of Dadasaheb Phalke will commence in October 2025, and Aamir will start preparation for it after the release of SZP. Set against the backdrop of India's independence struggle, the film will chronicle the extraordinary journey of the man who laid the foundation of Indian cinema. ## The script has been in the works for four years, and it is finally getting ready to go on the floors soon. Hyderabad, May 14 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR is set to headline the biopic of Dadasaheb Phalke, who is regarded as the father of Indian cinema. The film, titled Made In India, was announced back in September 2023 by producer Varun Gupta (Max Studios) and SS Karthikeya (Showing Business) as a Pan India title. ## Ever since the film was announced, SS Rajamouli, along with SS Karthikeya and Varun Gupta, have been working on the script diligently and now, they have reportedly locked a draft. The script was recently narrated to Jr. NTR, who immediately gave his nod to the project, according to the report by Pinkvilla.## "NTR Jr. heard the script and was blown away with the lesser-known tales of Dadasaheb Phalke, who is termed as the 'Father of Indian Cinema'. The story chronicles the birth and rise of Indian Cinema, and NTR was surprised by the detailing. He is excited to play the father of Indian Cinema on the big screen", says the report.## The RRR star is presently shooting for director Prashanth Neel's period action drama Dragon, and then moves on to director Nelson Dilipkumar's next. Mumbai, May 14 - In another fresh turn of events, Maddock Films' romantic comedy drama Bhool Chuk Maaf is getting back to the theatrical release. The movie is directed by Karan Sharma and produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films in association with Amazon MGM Studios.## Over the last week, the film has been in the news for a couple of reasons. On May 8, the makers announced the Bhool Chuk Maaf's theatrical release, which was May 10, was called off amid the India and Pakistan border tensions and was rescheduled to a direct digital release on Prime Video on May 16. ## However, the decision to send the movie directly on digital invited the legal battle as PVR-Inox sued Maddock, seeking 60 crore in damages for breach of contract and requesting a stay on the film's digital release. Later, the Bombay High Court granted major relief to the theatre chain and stopped the OTT release of the movie. ## Now, according to the latest report by Pinkvilla, the film is back on track for a theatrical release. It is said that the movie will now hit the big screens on May 23. The report further states that while Bollywood films are mandatory to have an 8-week theatrical window, Bhool Chuk Maaf might debut on Prime Video in just two weeks, on June 6, 2025. ## Meanwhile, Maddock Films doesn't have to pay any amount to PVRInox, as the latter has withdrawn the demands of Rs 60 crore from the former. He will reportedly play the role of SRK's mentor. Mumbai, May 10 - National multiplex theatre chain, PVRINOX, has reportedly sued producer Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films for cancelling the theatrical release date of its romantic comedy drama Bhool Chuk Maaf at the last minute. ## A day before the film's release on May 9, Maddock Films and Amazon Prime issued a statement stating that the theatrical release of Bhool Chuk Maaf was called off aftermath of the ongoing border conflict between India and Pakistan. The studio announced that the movie would now be released directly on Prime Video on May 9. ## According to the report by Bollywood Hungama, PVR Inox has decided to take legal action against the production house for damages of Rs. 60 crores for non-playability of the movie. While Maddock stated the conflict as the reason behind the decision, the theatre alleged that the decision was taken due to poor advance booking. ## "PVR has submitted their case in the Bombay High Court. The matter became serious as all the contracts were signed, and then suddenly Maddock backed off. 'Kill' Director Nikhil Bhat In Talks For A Hollywood Superhero Movie

Mumbai, May 8 - Critically acclaimed action thriller film Kill director Nikhil Bhat is reportedly in talks for a Hollywood superhero movie in a groundbreaking development for Indian cinema. ## According to the latest report by Peepingmoon.com, Bhat is in discussions with Universal Studios. It is still unclear if there have been any draft deal papers yet, but the report claims that negotiations have been underway for some time. ## The filmmaker is reportedly represented by the Hollywood talent agency WME (William Morris Endeavor), which is said to be negotiating the deal on his behalf. Maddock Films Called Off Theatrical Release of 'Bhool Chuk Maaf'

Mumbai, May 8 - Maddock Films has called off the theatrical release of its comedy drama film Bhool Chuk Maaf in the light of recent events and heightened security drills across the nation. The movie was scheduled to hit the big screen on May 9. ## Bhool Chuk Maaf, starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi in the leading roles, will now be released directly on Amazon Prime Video on May 16, a week after its proposed theatrical release. The film is directed by Karan Sharma and produced by Maddock Films in association with Amazon MGM Studios.## The studio took to social media platforms to share the update and confirmed the direct-to-digital release of the movie on Prime Video.
