Pushpa 2 To Release On 12K+ Screens Worldwide

Mumbai, November 29 - The biggest Indian film of the year, Pushpa 2 - The Rule is all set for a massive release across the world. Starring superstar Allu Arjun along with Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, the action drama is scheduled to hit the big screen on December 5. ## During the press meeting of the film in Mumbai, producer Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers said that Pushpa 2 will be released on over 12,000 screens worldwide, making it the biggest release for an Indian title. The film will also be released in IMAX and the producers confirmed that it will be the biggest IMAX release for an Indian film. ## Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 - The Rule is in the last leg of the promotion which began with the trailer launch event in Patna amid the presence of lakhs of people on November 17. The makers had the event in Chennai, Kochi, and now in Mumbai before the final meet in Hyderabad. ## The movie is produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings. Mumbai, November 27 - Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have started shooting for director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's highly-anticipated war romantic drama Love and War which also stars Vicky Kaushal in prominent roles. ## Love & War is touted to be an epic romantic film set against the backdrop of war and this will feature the actors in the completely new retro looks. As the shoot commences, the looks of Ranbir and Alia leaked online while filming in Mumbai. ## In the leaked pictures, Ranbir Kapoor can be seen wearing a white shirt and black tie, sporting a vintage-style moustache and gelled pulled-back hair. Alia, on the other hand, is wearing a bell-sleeved white dress, which is tied at the waist. The actress had a big, puffed hairstyle, resembling a hairdo from decades back.## According to the reports, Alia Bhatt shot a grand sequence with Vicky Kaushal before shooting with Ranbir. Dhanush Files Case Against Nayanthara

Chennai, November 27 - Tamil star Dhanush has filed a case against actress Nayanthara for allegedly using visuals related to his production Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in her Netflix documentary - Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale without his permission. ## Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, was produced by Dhanush and the actor-filmmaker has been at loggerheads with the actress for the same. Recently, Nayan shared a note on social media in which she slammed Dhanush for denying her permission and demanding a 10 crore sum for using the film's footage in the documentary. ## According to the report by NDTV, Dhanush has approached the Madras High Court against Nayanthara, her husband Vignesh Shivan and their production house Rowdy Pictures Private Limited as the civil suit claims the actress and others used certain visuals from the movie without obtaining NOC. ## Dhanush's Wunderber Films Private also has taken out an application urging the High Court to grant permission to sue the Mumbai-based company Los Gatos Production Services India LLP, an entity through which Netflix reports its content investments in India, per NDTV.## The lawsuit threatens that if the content (in Nayanthara's documentary) isn't taken down within 24 hours, Dhanush's legal team will be forced to initiate appropriate legal action, including but not limited to seeking damages to a sum of Rs. 10 crores against Nayanthara and Netflix India.## Stay tuned...

Dostana fame Tarun Mansukhani is directing the film with Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment producing. ## On Wednesday (November 27), the makers announced the commencement of the final schedule and to celebrate the legacy of the film, the entire massive ensemble star cast was also unveiled. It is the first franchise to reach the 5th instalment and has been shot on a luxurious cruise starting from London to France to Spain and back to the UK. ## The film was originally announced with Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh before many other actors joined them. 'Kannappa' Official Release Date Locked

Hyderabad, November 25 - Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu's prestigious devotional action drama Kannappa is one of the keenly-awaited Telugu movies with big actors featuring in it. The movie is directed by Mahabharata fame Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu. ## Kannappa has been in the making since last year and the makers have now confirmed its release date. On Monday, Vishnu Manchu took to social media to announce that the film would be hitting worldwide cinemas on April 25, 2025, in multiple languages. The team unveiled a poster showcasing a trident to reveal the release date. ## The film was initially planned for a December 2024 release but the makers are taking extra time in the production to make sure the best output is ready. Mumbai, November 24 - There were a couple of re-releases this weekend at the Hindi box office in the form of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan-fronted cult classic Karan Arjun and Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa - The Rise of which the sequel is gearing up for December 5 release worldwide. ## Karan Arjun, directed by Rakesh Roshan, had a wide re-release with over 2000 shows scheduled daily during the opening weekend. However, the movie couldn't replicate the success of the recent Bollywood re-releases and ended with the opening of around 1 crore gross collection. ## There wasn't much movement in the collection after the opening day of around 30 lakh gross as Saturday figures were almost similar to Friday and on Sunday, the movie is expected to gross around 40 lakh. With a not-so-encouraging opening weekend after a wide re-release, Karan Arjun is unlikely to have much impact during the weekdays. ## Allu Arjun's Pushpa - The Rise also had a wide re-release this weekend in Hindi and managed to gross around 70 lakh in the opening weekend. There wasn't much awareness about the re-release of the film among the audiences so whatever it has earned is a bonus. ## The Sukumar's directorial, which was originally released in 2021, grossed around 20 lakh on its first day of re-release, followed by 25 lakh each on Saturday and Sunday. 'Cocktail' Sequel In The Works With Shahid Kapoor

Mumbai, November 23 - With franchises making waves at the Bollywood box office, more and more standalone films are getting sequels and the latest to join this trend is 2012's romantic comedy Cocktail which was headlined by Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty. ## Directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Maddock Films with others, Cocktail was a box office hit with over 120 crores gross collection worldwide. Now, more than a decade later when franchises are succeeding at the box office, Maddock Films has put Cocktail 2 in the making. ## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, producer Dinesh Vijan has been working idea of the sequel with director Homi Adajania and they've now crafted a storyline that they believe matches the magic of the first film. Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is in talks to headline the project. ## Shahid has not yet signed on the dotted line but has reportedly verbally committed to this film, which would mark his second collaboration with Maddock following this year's robotic romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. The report further states that the talks are on with young actresses to come on board. ## The film is expected to start rolling by the middle of 2025 after Shahid completes Vishal Bhardwaj's action thriller which goes on the floor this December.
