Mumbai, March 7 - Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for the release of the romantic comedy "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar", co-starring Shraddha Kapoor. The Luv Ranjan's directorial movie is scheduled to release on March 8, coinciding with Holi weekend. ## After the release of TJMM, Ranbir will finish the shooting of director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's "Animal" which is slated for August 11, 2023, release. Meanwhile, Ranbir has shared an update regarding the second part of the fantasy adventure movie "Brahmastra". ## During an interview with Pinkvilla, the actor confirmed that director Ayan Mukerji is currently writing "Brahmastra 2" and they are hopeful to start shooting by the end of this year or early next year. It will be Ranbir's immediate next after "Animal" as the actor hasn't signed any other film yet. ## "Brahmastra Part 1 - Shiva" was released last year and grossed over 400 crores worldwide. The part 2 has been titled "Brahmastra 2 - Dev" but the makers haven't revealed yet who will be playing the role of Dev. The makers recently shot a promo for the same which will be released soon with the official announcement. ## "Hera Pheri 3" will be directed by Farhad Samji. The movie, along with the original lead trio, will also feature multiple other actors and one of them is Sanjay Dutt who will be making his debut in the Hera Pheri franchise. The reports have revealed that Sanjay will be playing the role of a gangster. ## The "Munna Bhai" actor was recently spotted at an event where he confirmed being a part of this much-awaited comic caper. The actor shared that he is thrilled to be a part of "Hera Pheri 3" and join Akshay, Sunil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal. ## "It's a great franchise, and I'm so happy to be a part of it. Firoz (Nadiadwala) aur mera rishta bhi bahut purana hai (Firoz and my relationship is also very old), and it's great to be together with Akshay, Suniel anna, and Paresh", Dutt said. ## Firoz Nadiadwala will be producing this film and it starts filming around May/June this year. Mumbai, March 5 - Two of the most loved Bollywood actors, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are teaming up for the first time for the catchy romantic-comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. The movie is scheduled to release on March 8, Wednesday on the occasion of Holi with a long weekend ahead of it. ## The movie is releasing after Bollywood got hit with two back-to-back flops in the form of "Shehzada" and "Selfiee", so there is added pressure on TJMM to break the shackle. Much delight to the makers, the first-time pairing of Ranbir and Shraddha is set to spring a surprise at the box office, at least, the initial response to the pre-sales indicating the same. ## The full-fledged advance booking of TJMM was opened on Sunday (March 5) morning after three national chains (PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis) gradually opened the pre-sales on Saturday evening. As for the record, the film has sold approx. 30K tickets worth approx. 1 crore gross so far, and the numbers are increasing with each passing hour. The three national chains have sold approx. 11K tickets, which is promising ahead of the release. ## Produced by T-Series, and Luv Films, TJMM should be able to take a good opening, and seeing the early advance booking response, the opening of around 15 crores net is well within the reach. Mumbai, March 4 - The King of romance, Shah Rukh Khan is officially the King of action as his latest blockbuster Pathaan has shattered all the existing records at the box office for a Bollywood film and that too, with ease.## The spy action thriller started its box office journey on January 25 and after 38 days, "Pathaan" is now the biggest blockbuster ever in India in a single language. It has crossed the lifetime net collection of SS Rajamouli's epic blockbuster "Baahubali 2" which scored 510.99 crores net in Hindi in 2017. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" is now the biggest Indian as well as a non-Indian movie at the domestic box office as far as the net collection is concerned. However, it is still behind "Baahubali 2" in terms of gross collection as tax rates were higher at the time of the letter's release back in 2017. ## As far as the single language is concerned, "KGF: Chapter 2" is the 3rd in the list with approx. 435 crores net in Hindi, followed by "RRR" at number 4 with approx. 428 crores net in the Telugu language, and Aamir Khan's "Dangal" which scored approx. 374 crores net in the Hindi language. ## Overall, "Pathaan" has scored approx. 530 crores net in all three versions (Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu). The Siddharth Anand's directorial featured a theater-shaking cameo of superstar Salman Khan's Tiger with SRK. ## The spy universe will deep dive into the next film Tiger 3. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the blockbuster movie will have a cameo role of Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan. The union of two of the biggest megastars in the history of Indian cinema created mass hysteria in "Pathaan" and a bigger response is expected in "Tiger 3". ## Salman's Tiger indicated in "Pathaan" that he was going on a deadly mission and that he might need Pathaan's help. Now, according to the latest reports, SRK will be shooting for a cameo role next month and has reportedly allotted 7 days for the same. ## "In Tiger 3, the director has chalked out a massive action scene set in jail (for Salman Khan & SRK). It will be a continuation of an elaborate sequence shot by Salman last year. The actor too showed interest in the movie and asked the director to give him some time to take the final call. ## Despite the keen interest, the "Pushpa" actor reportedly not doing the movie, due to various reasons, and one of them is his highly-anticipated Pan India blockbuster "Pushpa - The Rule" which is currently under production. ## According to Pinkvilla, Allu Arjun couldn't say yes to the film due to his tight schedule. During YRF's recently released Netflix docu-series "The Romantics", which is a tribute to the legacy of Yash Chopra & YRF and their cultural impact on India and Indians for the past 50 years, Hrithik talk about the popularity of "Dhoom" franchise.## Speaking about the franchise, Hrithik said that "Dhoom" is one of the biggest movie brands in the country.
