Mumbai, February 16 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" is on the historic box office run and racing towards the 1000 crores mark globally. The spy actioner has grossed around 970 crores worldwide to date in all versions. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" has also become the first Bollywood movie ever to reach 500 crores net mark, and to celebrate this historical success, Yash Raj Films and National Cinema chains have decided to slash the ticket prices on Friday. ## According to reports, top theater chains of India - PVR, Inox, Cinepolis, Miraj, Movietime, MuktaA2 & other participating cinemas have come together to celebrate this coming Friday (February 17) as 'Pathaan Day'. The ticket prices of Pathaan in these cinemas have been reduced to flat Rs.110 for a whole day on Friday. ## "Pathaan" also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, among others in key roles. Box Office: Blockbuster 'Pathaan' Hits 500 Crores Net In All Versions

Mumbai, February 15 - Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" is unstoppable and proving to be a one-horse race at the box office. The spy actioner is racing towards the epic box office milestone of 1000 crores worldwide. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" has become the first ever Bollywood movie to hit 500 crores net collection. The movie scored approx. 499 crores net through the 3rd Tuesday in all versions, and at the time of penning this piece, it has breached Rs. 5 billion mark. ## The Hindi version of "Pathaan" has earned approx. 482 crores net through 3rd Tuesday (21 days). It is already the highest-grossing Hindi title and has already scored more than 100 crores than the second-placed "Dangal" which scored approx. 374 crores net in Hindi. ## "Pathaan", meanwhile, is chasing history to become the biggest Hindi grosser ever at the domestic box office. Currently, SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2" is the number 1 grosser with 511 crores net. The SRK-starrer will be around 490 crores net at the end of the 3rd week and then, it will need approx. 20 crores more the beat BB2. ## The Yash Raj Films' production was enjoying a free run until now, but this weekend onwards, it will be up against "Shahzada" and "Ant-Man 3" which might dent its chances to go past BB2. Apart from scoring huge box office numbers, "Pathaan" has brought audiences to theaters in large numbers which no other Bollywood movie could do in recent times. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" is among the biggest Indian blockbusters of all time in terms of theater admissions/footfalls. While most of the big-budget films finished below 50 lakh footfalls, "Pathaan" has just hit 3 crores theater footfalls which is the highest for a Bollywood movie since Salman Khan's "Tiger Zinda Hai". ## "Pathaan" hit 3 crores in footfalls yesterday (3rd Monday) in all versions (Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu). Mumbai, February 12 - Spy action thriller, "Pathaan" starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan is running riot at the box office and crossed 900 crores mark within three weeks. ## Also starring John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, "Pathaan" is racing towards 1000 crores at the global box office looking at the current trend, thanks to the historic extended opening week in which the movie grossed approx. 697 crores globally, including 260 crores overseas. ## After such a massive week, "Pathaan" dropped around 78% globally in the second week for approx. 191 crores, reaching 888 crores after two weeks (16 days). The third week too had strong numbers, scoring approx. 47 crores net. Produced by Yash Raj Films, "Pathaan's" total collection after the full is approx. 976 crores gross worldwide. It will have competition from February 17 when "Shehzada" and "Ant-Man 3" will release. Los Angeles, February 10 - Shah Rukh Khan-fronted blockbuster "Pathaan" has become the second highest-grossing Indian film in North America, which is one of the biggest international movie markets for Indian titles. ## The spy action thriller, directed by Siddharth Anand, has grossed approx. $14.95 million (123 crores) in 16 days so far at the North American box office. It has outscored SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster "RRR" which has grossed $14.90 million and become the all-time second-biggest Indian and biggest Bollywood movie there. ## Rajamouli's "Baahubali The Conclusion" is currently the number one Indian title in North America with approx. $22 million. "Pathaan" will most likely finish around $17 million though it has a chance to beat "Baahubali 2" in admissions. ## Among the top 5 biggest Indian movies there, Aamir Khan's "Dangal" is at number 4 with approx. $12.40 million, followed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Padmaavat" at 5 with approx. $12.17 million.## Meanwhile, the Yash Raj Films' production is nearing 900 crores at the global box office. It carried the momentum into the second week which was higher with approx. 2.75 crores. Mumbai, February 10 - It seems there is no easy way to get out of jail for Ajay Devgn-fronted "Maidaan". The long-awaited biographical sports drama film is getting difficulties in its release which has led to multiple delays over the last year or so. The movie was supposed to release in February this year, however, the makers recently announced its postponement to May 12, 2023, release. ## Now, according to the latest reports, the Amit Sharma-directed flick has been pushed again to June this year. Bollywood Hungama reports that "Maidaan" has been shifted to June 23 release, which is still a complex date to bring the film to the big screen. ## June 2023 is already flooded with two tentpole titles, "Jawan" (June 2) and "Adipurush" (June 16).
