Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' Is The Most-Awaited Hindi Film

Mumbai, July 19 - The year 2023 could script the biggest comeback ever in Indian cinema as superstar Shah Rukh Khan is coming to rule the box office again with not just one but three films. ## The Badshah of Bollywood will be headlining his first film in more than 4 years in the form of Pathaan with director Sidharth Anand, followed by Atlee's Jawan, and by the end of the year, he will be seen in director Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki. All three movies will be made on huge budgets and thus, these movies are carrying a lot of anticipation. ## According to Ormax Cinematix, "Pathaan" is currently the most-awaited Hindi film, followed by Akshay Kumar's Ram Setu, which opens this Diwali. Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan's Vikram Vedha is the third most anticipated movie at the moment followed by Prabhas-fronted Adipurush, and SRK's "Jawan" at number 4 and 5 respectively. ## In the top five most-awaited Hindi films, King Khan has two films, which shows that audience is so looking forward to watching the superstar on the big screen after a long time. The movie will be produced by Rhea Kapoor and it will be directed by her husband Karan Boolani, as per ETimes. ## The yet-untitled movie is said to be based on a modern take on relationships. There have reportedly been meetings between the two over the last few months but nothing was made official. ## According to the latest reports, Mythri Movie Makers is moving ahead with its collaboration with Salman Khan and has reportedly signed talk of the town, Lokesh Kanagaraj. Lokesh has become a star director already in his young career of just 4 films. ## It is said that recently when Salman Khan was in Hyderabad for the shooting of "Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali" had a meeting with Lokesh Kanagaraj and Mythri Movie Makers. During their meeting, the trio reportedly discussed a probable collaboration and have spoken about bouncing back on the idea once both Salman and Lokesh complete their present commitments, according to Bollywood Hungama. ## Earlier, the Hindi remake, to be produced by Murad Khetani, of Thalapathy Vijay's "Master" was offered to Salman Khan, however, he rejected it after initially showing interest in it. Mumbai, July 18 - Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji has been working on the Brahmastra film trilogy, of which, the first movie Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, is gearing up for its worldwide theatrical release on September 9, 2022. It stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles along with Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. ## The first film of the "Brahmastra" trilogy has multiple cameos including Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. Deepika will reportedly be featured in the climax of the first part and it will set the stage for Part 2. Now, according to the latest reports, the actress has been signed on to play the lead role of Parvati in "Brahmastra 2", which might take off by the end of 2023. ## According to Pinkvilla, "The makers have locked Deepika Padukone to play the character of Parvati. In fact, Deepika will also make a cameo towards the end of Brahmastra, which will eventually take the film into the second part". ## "Brahmastra 2" will be the continuation of the First Part and Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who play Shiva and Isha, will reprise their roles in the second part as well. However, the future of "Brahmastra 2" will depend a lot on the outcome of the first part, which has reportedly been made on a budget of around 400 crores. ## The movie is a fantasy adventure, based on mythology. The Kabir Khan-directed comedy-drama film made over 960 crores at the worldwide box office and is one of the highest-grossing Indian movies of all time. ## The story of the film was written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, who revealed in a recent interview that he pitched the film to his son SS Rajamouli before he committed it to Salman Khan. Vijayendra Prasad revealed that Rajamouli loved the story and even wished to direct it but things didn't materialize as he was directing Prabhas-fronted "Baahubali" at that time. ## "Before I was about to commit the story to Salman Bhai, I narrated it to my son and tears started rolling from his eyes. I asked if I should keep the story for him, but he asked me to give it away. Once the film was released, he came to me and said 'Papa, you asked me at the wrong time. I was shooting the climax of Bahubali 1 and it was a jittery situation then. Chennai, July 17 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's comedy-drama film Laal Singh Chaddha, which is scheduled to release on August 11, will be released by Udhay Stalin's Red Giant Movies in Tamil Nadu. The studio grabbed the distribution rights of one of the most awaited movies. ## "Laal Singh Chaddha", which is the official Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood movie "Forrest Gump", will have its worldwide theatrical release in Hindi along with dubbed versions of Telugu and Tamil. The Telugu version will be presented by megastar Chiranjeevi, who saw the film a few days ago at his residence in Hyderabad and left super impressed. ## Red Giant Movies took to Twitter and announced this big collaboration. Mumbai, July 17 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan announced the sequel to his cult classic blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan last year though the details were not disclosed then. Vijayendra Prasad, who wrote the first part, has been working on the sequel as well, and now, he has provided a major update on this highly-anticipated sequel. ## During a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the filmmaker said that he has locked the basic idea of the sequel and it will be the continuation of the first part. The sequel, which is titled Pawan Putra Bhaijaan, will take place 10 years after the first part and it might start rolling out next year. ## "I have narrated the story outline to Bhai and he has loved it. Now the ball is in his court to decide on timelines. The story takes an 8 to 10-year leap in Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. I am hopeful that the sequel will be no lesser than the first part", he said. ## Vijayendra Prasad also revealed that he got the basic idea about the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" movie from Megastar Chiranjeevi's "Pasivadi Pranam". One of Vijayendra Prasad's associates suggested he should make a movie in which our hero goes to Pakistan and bashes them. He said he improvised the script as the intention was to make a film that doesn't increase the animosity between the two countries but decreases it.## Salman Khan is currently shooting for Farhad Samji-directed "Bhaijaan". After wrapping up this action comedy, Salman will move on to another much-anticipated sequel of "No Entry" from January 2023. Mumbai, July 16 - A few weeks ago, it was reported that filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar has acquired the Hindi remake rights of Jason Statham-fronted Hollywood actioner The Transporter (2002). And now, as per the latest reports, Ali will also direct this big-budget flick. ## It is said that Ali has been wanting to make the Hindi remake of this English-language French action thriller and bought the rights from EuropaCorp some two months ago. Apart from directing the movie, Ali will co-produce it with Vishal Rana and a big studio is expected to collaborate as well, according to ETimes. ## The original starred Jason Statham as Frank Martin, a driver for hire—a mercenary "transporter" who will deliver anything, anywhere, no questions asked—for the right price. It also starred Shu Qi as Lai Kwai.## Ali Zafar is currently busy with the pre-production work of "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. It will go on floors in January next year. Once Ali is done with BMCM, he will start working on "The Transporter" and is likely to bring a young actor to play the lead role. ## Meanwhile, the filmmaker already has a film with Shahid Kapoor ready to release. It is an action thriller, tentatively titled "Bloody Daddy", and marks Shahid and Ali's maiden collaboration. In opposite to the rumours, the movie will be released in theaters in February 2023. ## According to industry insiders, "Selfiee" will be hitting worldwide theaters on February 24, 2023.
