Mumbai, September 16, 2021: A long production journey for Aamir Khan starrer "Laal Singh Chaddha" finally comes to an end as the shoot of this "Forrest Gump" remake has been wrapped up. The movie, which went on floors on 31st October 2019, was delayed multiple times due to the covid-19 pandemic. ## The comedy-drama film directed by Advait Chandan is an adaptation of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself is based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel of the same name. Apart from Aamir Khan, the movie also stars Kareena Kapoor as the female lead and Naga Chaitanya in his Hindi debut. ## Produced by Aamir Khan Productions, and Viacom18 Studios, Laal Singh Chaddha has been filmed in more than 100 Indian locations since it begin production in 2019. It was also filmed in Turkey, for the recce of a new shoot before it resumed shoot in Mumbai, India in 2020. ## It is one of the most-awaited films, which was earlier supposed to release on Christmas 2020. But due to the pandemic, it has been postponed to Christmas 2021 in cinemas. Even this date is looking uncertain as theaters in India are yet to be allowed with normal capacity. ## Aamir Khan's last film, "Thugs of Hindostan" didn't do well and proved to be a flop at the box office. The actor played PVC Vikram Batra in Vishnuvardhan directed biopic war film that was released on Amazon Prime Video on August 12.## After winning accolades for Shershaah, Sidharth recently wrapped up filming of Mission Majnu, which is also a patriotic film. Talking about "Mission Majnu", the SOTY actor told Pinkvilla, "The shooting experience of Mission Majnu has been a very special journey and I am extremely excited about this collaboration with Ronnie Screwvala". ## Sidharth plays a RAW agent in Mission Majnu, which explores the journey of India's covert operation in the heart of Pakistan. He has been paired with Rashmika Mandanna, who marks her Bollywood debut with a spy-thriller film. While Shershaah was a digital release, Malhotra promises a theatrical experience with Shantanu Bagchi's directorial. ## "We have worked very hard to ensure an entertaining theatrical experience for the audiences with this story and the way the film looks, the performances, and every other element of the film. The movie has been titled "Garud" and is set for August 15, 2022, release. ## Having backed films like "Parmanu", "Romeo Akbar Walter", Ajay Kapoor returns to the same zone with his upcoming film "Attack" and newly announced "Garud", collaborating with Subhash Kale after working together in "Roy" and "All Is Well". Mumbai, September 14, 2021: Actors Riteish Deshmukh and Fardeen Khan, who were last seen together in "Heyy Babyy", will be reuniting after 14 years in filmmaker Sanjay Gupta's next. The film, titled "Visfot" is the official Hindi remake of the 2012 Venezuelan film "Rock Paper Scissors". ## The Sanjay Gupta production, "Visfot", will mark Fardeen Khan's comeback in movies after nearly a decade. He was last seen in Mudassar Aziz's 2010 romantic-comedy, Dulha Mil Gaya. In "Visfot", the actor will reportedly be seen playing the role of a taxi driver and an ex-drug dealer while Deshmukh will play a commercial airline pilot. ## The film is said to be revolving around Khan's character who kidnaps Deshmukh's son by mistake, which will unleash a chain of delicate events that'll be tragic for everyone involved. Taapsee Pannu is said to be the frontrunner to play the leading lady, however, she hasn't been signed as yet. Hirani has always done with scripting and has already begun recce in Punjab. Meanwhile, after completing a short schedule of Atlee's film, SRK will head abroad for a month-long schedule in October to shoot the action sequence of Pathan. Mumbai, September 13, 2021: In a big development, two of India's biggest production houses, T-Series and Reliance Entertainment have joined hands to produce a slate of films over the next 2-3 years. During this period, the two companies will jointly produce more than 10 films across different genres that include big-budget tentpoles as well as mid and small-budget content-rich films. ## The two studios have worked together on the music marketing front for more than 100 films. And now, they will jointly be venturing into film production and will be investing over INR 1000 crores over the course of the next 24 to 36 months. ## The extensive line-up of films is in various stages of development which includes Hindi remakes of Tamil blockbuster drama and action thrillers, a mega historic biopic, espionage thriller, courtroom drama, satire comedy, romance drama, and a film based on shocking true events, amongst others.## Given the pace of the developments, confirmed alignments with some of India’s biggest stars, four to five films will have a comfortable big-screen release worldwide, starting next year-2022. To give the audiences a larger-than-life experience, Reliance, and T-Series partnered with filmmakers like Pushkar and Gayatri, Vikramjit Singh, Mangesh Hadawale, Srijit Mukherji, and Sankalp Reddy. ## Bhushan Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director, T-Series, said in a statement, "After working on music marketing together, this collaboration has happened at the right time and this will just strengthen our ties.
