Mumbai, November 4 - The Bollywood releases on Diwali 2024, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have had a big first weekend each at the domestic box office. Both the movies managed to score 100+ crores each and this is the first time that 2 Bollywood films have scored 100 crores net each in the same weekend. ## Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn along with a strong supporting cast, was the biggest beneficiary during the holiday weekend. The movie scored approximately 121.75 crores net in 3 days and became the 123rd film to enter the 100 crores club in Hindi. ## It is the 14th movie of Ajay Devgn to enter the 100 crore club and the first 100 crore weekend opener for him, beating Golmaal Again which minted approximately 87.60 crores net. For director Rohit Shetty, Singham Again is his biggest and second movie to open with 100 crores net, after Chennai Express (100.50 crores net). ## The horror-comedy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, despite the fewer screens, competed strongly in the clash with the cop actioner to score the opening weekend of approximately 106 crores net. It is the first movie of the actor and director Anees Bazmee to score 100 crore or more in the first weekend. ## BB3 is the 124th Hindi film to the 100 crore club and for Kartik, this is his 3rd movie to achieve the feat after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Mumbai, November 3 - The Diwali 2024 Bollywood blockbusters, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are scripting history at the box office and on the second day in a row, both the movies have combined deliver the single-day record in Hindi. ## On November 1, both Singham 3 and BB3 combined scored 79 crores net which was the single biggest day ever in Hindi at the Indian box office. Both the movies bettered their numbers on Day 2 to score approximately 79.50 crores net combined which is a new single-day record. ## As reported earlier, before the release of the latest tentpoles, the biggest single-day collection record came on September 10 last year when Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster Jawan was released. Mumbai, November 1 - Kartik Aaryan's horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 may emerge as a big box office success after the sensational second day hold domestically. The film had a really huge opening day of over 35 crores net and is looking at another similar collection or higher on day 2. ## The initial audience reports of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are mixed to positive which is good enough for a horror-comedy genre and this is already benefitting the film is showing an excellent hold despite the clash with Singham Again which itself is having a huge at the box office. ## According to early estimates, BB3 is looking to score 36-37 crores net which is pretty much in the range of the opening-day collection but depending on mass belts, the collection may go higher which will be known by tomorrow morning when numbers will come out. Mumbai, November 2 - After scoring a huge opening of approximately 43.50 crores net, director Rohit Shetty's cop action drama Singham Again starring Ajay Devgn is having a fantastic hold on its second day/first Saturday with a minor drop in collection. ## The first day behaved like a national holiday due to Diwali and in a clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the movie had an excellent start. On Saturday, Singham Again is witnessing an expected drop as early estimates suggest collection in the range of 41-42 crores net. ## The total collection of the movie after 2 days is around 84 crores net and the first weekend is headed towards 125 crores which is excellent. The initial response in the pre-sales is promising for both films. ## Since both Singham Again and BB3 are releasing on the same day (November 1), the race to grab maximum screens was heating up and in this game of power, Rohit Shetty's directorial cop action drama has got the upper hand in showcasing almost all properties. ## It is learned that Singham 3 has been allotted 60% of total shows while BB3 got 40% of shows in all major multiplex chains like PVR-INOX, MovieMax, NY Cinemas, Rajhans, MovieTime, and Miraj. This skirmish led to the late opening of pre-sales but once the full-fledged bookings started, both movies showed very good movement. ## BB3 went on sale a day before Singham Again and the horror comedy sold over 554K tickets worth approximately 17.10 crore from around 9900 shows.
