Mumbai, September 29 - The second inning of folk horror comedy Tumbbad continues to get longer at the box office despite the competition. The movie has a good third-weekend collection which takes its total to around 50 crores gross (including the original run). ## Tumbbad re-released had an increased competition this weekend in the form of Jr. NTR-fronted Devara - Part 1 which was easily the number 1 at the Hindi box office. Despite that, the Rahi Anil Barve's directorial has done well to score around 2.60 crores net collection in the third weekend. ## On its third Friday, the movie minted approximately 55 lakh before jumping on Saturday for around 1 crore net. Tumbbad is having a good Sunday with approximately 1.10 crore net collection, pushing the total re-release cume of the movie to around 27+ crore net (32+ crore gross) in 17 days. ## Including the film's original collection of 16 crores gross (13.50 crores net), Tumbbad's worldwide gross total stands at 48+ crores gross (40.50+ crores net). Ajay Devgn's 'Singham Again' Sets Wide Overseas Release

Mumbai, September 27 - One of the biggest Bollywood films of the year, director Rohit Shetty's Singham Again starring Ajay Devgn in the title role is set to get a wide release across international territories in November this year.## According to Variety, Phars Film (PHF) has acquired overseas rights for this cop action thriller which also stars Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and and Deepika Padukone in prominent roles. ## Phars Film has teamed with Moviegoers Entertainment to orchestrate the film's rollout across international territories, excluding the Middle East, which PHF will handle directly. Mumbai, September 27 - Director Rahi Anil Barve's folk horror thriller Tumbbad re-release has had a fantastic second week at the domestic box office as the movie continued to perform above expectations and remained over or around 1 crore net mark throughout the week. ## The movie scored approximately 11.50 crores net collection in the second week, dropping just under 15% from the first week's total of 13.15 crores net. The total re-release collection of the film after two weeks (14 days) is around 24.50 crores net (29 crore gross). ## Tummbad re-release has earned around 2X of its original collection (13.50 crores net) which is indeed a big achievement for a 6-year-old critically acclaimed film. Mumbai, September 26 - Maddock Films and Jio Studios' horror comedy Stree 2 has officially become the highest-grossing Hindi movie at the domestic box office, beating superstar Shah Rukh Khan's action thriller Jawan. ## Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, the mega-blockbuster crossed Jawan (582.31 crores net) on its 6th Thursday (43rd day) to become the new box office king in Hindi. It is, in fact, now the biggest single-language grosser at the Indian box office. ## Jawan, however, remains the biggest Bollywood grosser of all time in India with 640 crores net collection in all versions. Stree is not expected to beat Jawan and is likely to finish its run of around 600 crores net collection, which is anyway a monstrous achievement to have. ## Stree 2 has been a on dream run since its debut on August 15. Mumbai, September 24 - After finishing as a flop in its original run, folk horror thriller Tumbbad has turned things around big time in its re-release run to not only emerge a box office hit but also become the biggest re-release grosser at the Indian box office.## Directed by Rahi Anil Barve, Tumbbad has been on a fantastic repeat run since its re-launch on September 13. The movie hasn't dropped below the 1 crore mark in 11 days so far while in its original run, it crossed the 1 crore mark only two times before finishing its run with a 13.50 crore net collection. ## In 11 days of its re-release so far, Tumbbad has grossed approximately 25.75 crores (21.75 crores net) and sometime during its 12th day, it will cross Thalapathy Vijay's Ghilli (26 crores gross approx.) to become the biggest re-release grosser in India in the 21st century. ## As said, Tumbbad and Ghill are the only two movies to cross the 20 crore gross mark in their repeat runs at the Indian box office.
