Mumbai, June 8 - Superstar Prabhas-fronted "Adipurush" has completed the censorship formalities ahead of the wide worldwide release on June 16. Directed by Om Raut, "Adipurush" has been the talking point for the last few months, but now, it is set for a smooth release.## According to the latest development, the epic drama film has been certified with a clean "U" certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with approved official run-time of 179 minutes (2 hours and 59 minutes), making it one of the longest Indian films of the recent past.## "Adipurush" is the cinematic adaptation of the epic Ramayana, so it was expected to get a clean certificate from CBFC. Hyderabad, June 8 - Veteran Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna's mass entertainer with director Anil Ravipudi has been titled Bhagavanth Kesari with the catchy tagline "I don't care". The title was launched two days before the 63rd birthday of NBK which falls on June 10. ## Along with the title announcement, the makers also released a new poster in which NBK can be seen sporting a salt-and-pepper look in half a kurta and pants and is seen stabbing a sword into the land with an intense expression. The State Emblem of the country (the Lion Capital of Ashoka) is also included in the title logo which makes it intriguing. ## While the title poster gets launched today (June 8), the makers will reportedly launch the teaser of "Bhagavanth Kesari" on June 10 on the occasion of the actor's birthday. Mumbai, June 8 - Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi is on cloud nine with the mega success of his OTT project "Asur 2" which is getting rave reviews from critics and audiences. The actor will now move on to his theatrical projects, and one of them is the third installment of the courtroom comedy drama "Jolly LLB". ## Last year, it was revealed that Akshay Kumar along with Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla would be returning for Jolly LLB 3, and now, the "Munna Bhai" actor has confirmed that same in a recent interview while promoting "Asur 2". ## In an interview with TellyChakkar, Arshad said that the shoot of "Jolly LLB 3" will start early next year. The movie will see Akshay and Arshad against each other as reports suggest that it will be more of a conflict between the two protagonists who play the role of lawyers in the franchise. ## Arshad Warsi led the first "Jolly LLB" movie in 2013 before Akshay played the lead in "Jolly LLB 2" in 2017". The upcoming movie will be directed by Subhash Kapoor who also helmed the first two films in the franchise. ## Meanwhile, the actor has also confirmed the next Dhamaal movie Dhamaal 4 is in development and Paritosh Painter is writing the script for the same. Ranbir was already locked to played Lord Rama though the makers never made the official comment on the same. It is said that the actor has been visiting DNEG office to doing look tests as Lord Ram. ## Nitesh Tiwari along with producers Madhu Mantena and Namit Malhotra have already reportedly completed the pre-visualization of their version of "Ramayan". The movie was supposed to be headlined by Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Ram and Sita. ## The movie has been in pre-production for a long time but as per the reports, the project has been put on the backburner for the time being. While the makers haven't made anything official yet, it is said that they were unable to lock in the actor to play the role of Raavan. ## Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan was earlier reportedly approached to play Raavan and he showed interest in it as well but since the movie was not moving forward, the actor backed out in order to focus on other commitments. ## The project, backed by Madhu Mantena and Namit Malhotra, was supposed to be made on a huge budget and was to start shooting this year. Mumbai, June 7 - In February last year, Sony Pictures India in association with Mukesh Khanna's Bheeshm International, and Brewing Thoughts Private Limited announced the cinematic adaptation of the popular Indian superhero show Shaktimaan. ## Sony Pictures announced the movie as a planned trilogy, but there hasn't been much development happened since the announcement. During this, the rumors have been making rounds that Ranveer Singh was approached to play the iconic role but there was no confirmation about the same after that. ## Mukesh Khanna, who played the titular role in the "Shaktimaan" tv series, has now opened up on why the production of the movie is getting delayed and when it will start rolling. Khanna confirmed that the contract between him and Sony Pictures has already been signed and plans are being made to start the production soon. ## "This is a big-scale project and each film in the trilogy would cost at least 200-300 crores in the making. This is not a small film, it is a massive film, and that takes time. A lot of things are happening, but I am not allowed to talk", Khanna said in a video on his YouTube Channel Bhishma International.## The actor-producer also revealed that he cannot make any appearance in Shaktimaan's get-up now as the makers of the movie don't want any comparison. Khanna, however, refused to reveal the actor who will play the role of "Shaktimaan" but promised that the cast will be revealed soon. ## It has been also reported that Malayalam filmmaker Basil Joseph has been approached to direct the film with Ranveer Singh being the front-runner to headline it. Los Angeles, June 7 - Filmmaker Zack Snyder is currently working on his next film Rebel Moon, an epic space adventure about a young woman who is trying to save her community from imminent destruction. The movie, boasting a solid cast, will hit Netflix on December 22 this year. ## "Rebel Moon" is the most anticipated Netflix film and the good news is, Snyder will split it into two parts, along with two cuts (including a director's cut). During a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the "Justice League" director reveals his plans to make two versions of the movie.## "The first version of Rebel Moon to hit screens will be a fantasy adventure that anyone can enjoy and watch. The later cut will be strictly for adults. I think for fans of mine and people who are ready to take a deeper, harder dive, that'll be fun for them", he said.## Meanwhile, the movie will also have its sequel since there might not be enough time to tell the whole story in a single movie. The second part, however, won't be released too long after the first part (December 22). Just like its predecessor, the sequel will also come with an alternate cut meant to be seen by an adult audience.## The release date for the second part is not revealed yet. "It won't be long after. Netflix can do things that a traditional studio can't do as far as how close together the movies are released", the filmmaker added.## "Rebel Moon", which costs $166 million to make, follows a woman, Kora (Sofia Boutella) with a mysterious past who is sent out by a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy to find warriors after the society is threatened by the armies of the tyrant. ## The film features an ensemble cast that includes Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, Ray Fisher, Djimon Hounsou, Jena Malone, Corey Stoll, Ed Skrein, Cleopatra Coleman, Fra Fee, Cary Elwes, and Anthony Hopkins in key roles.## Stay tuned...

Kerala Theater Owners Call For A Strike Against Early OTT Releases

Kochi, June 6 - The theater owners in Kerala have decided to take a strong stand against the Mollywood filmmaker for opting for early OTT release of their movies. It has been seen with most of the Malayalam movies that despite the very good run in theaters, producers have opted for early release on digital platforms. ## The latest in the list is the all-time blockbuster "2018" which was released in theaters on May 5 and will be streaming SonyLiv from June 7, less than five weeks after the theatrical release. This has left the theater owners disappointed as this film has been running with packed houses across Kerala state. ## Now, according to the latest development, the theater owners have called for a strike on June 7 and 8 as a protest against early digital releases. This means theaters won't be functioning across the state for the next 2 days. It is said that the Kerala theaters will demand an increase in the OTT window period from 42 days to 90 days.## Meanwhile, theaters that come under FEUOK (Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala) are already reportedly considering not continuing "2018" after its OTT release. It is also revealed that Kerala theatres have started to refund the ticket amounts to those who pre-booked tickets for June 7 and 8. ## It is to be noted that Kerala theater owners have been demanding a suitable OTT release window for the movies for a long time.
