Megastar Kamal Haasan To Play Lead Antagonist In Prabhas' 'Project K'?
Hyderabad, May 31 - Director Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic Project K is one of the most anticipated Pan India movies in the making. It stars superstar Prabhas in the lead role alongside Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani. ## It was recently reported that legendary actor Kamal Haasan was approached to play the lead antagonist in "Project K". The rumors seem to have turned true as the latest reports have suggested that KH is indeed going to face off against Prabhas and has reportedly allotted his dates in August. ## If the rumors are anything to go by, the makers are willing to pay a hefty sum to the actor for the role. However, the rumored fee reported in the media is too high to believe which makes it a wait-and-watch game until the makers officially announce the news. ## "Project K" is produced by C. Aswani Dutt under the banner Vyjayanthi Movies with the said budget of around 500 crores. It is set in a futuristic world with never before seen visuals around the possibility of a 3rd World War. It is kind of the film that hasn't been touched before in Indian cinema. It is scheduled to release on January 12, 2024, in multiple languages.## Kamal Haasan, meanwhile, is currently shooting for director Shankar's "Indian 2" which will release in 2024.
