The period action drama film also has Saif Ali Khan as the lead antagonist alongside Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. ## "NTR 30" is one of the most anticipated Pan-Indian films in the work and according to the latest reports, the makers are gearing up to announce the title of the film on Jr. NTR's birthday, on May 20. Mumbai, May 10 - The Kerala Story continues to go up at the box office as the movie sees another good jump in collection on its first Wednesday. ## On its first Wednesday, the movie scores a growth of around 10% over Tuesday's collection for an estimated 12 crores net. This is the second back-to-back jump in the collection of the film despite the working days and takes the total net collection to around 69 crores in 6 days. ## The full opening week collection of The Kerala Story is now expected to be around 80+ crores net and then, it will breach the 100 crores net mark, mostly on its second Saturday.## The film showing a jump during weekdays despite the fact that it is facing difficulties in getting a proper release in a few states shows that TKS has become a rage, just like Vivek Agnihotri's "The Kashmir Files" last year. As said earlier, the lifetime collection of the movie is hard to predict but it is certain to finish over 200 crores net.## TKS will be released internationally on May 12 and it is expected to witness a good response as domestic. Chennai, May 10 - Blockbuster filmmaker Mani Ratnam's historical action drama film Ponniyin Selvan - Part 2 has crossed the 300 crores mark at the worldwide box office, becoming the first Tamil and the second Indian movie of the year to reach the milestone. ## The second of two cinematic parts based on the 1954 novel Ponniyin Selvan by Kalki Krishnamurthy reached the triple-century mark on its 11th day, 5 days more than the first part last year. "PS-2" has underperformed compared to the first part but it still has done well enough to be called a successful venture.## The total worldwide collection of "PS-2" is around 304 crores worldwide in 12 days, including 187 crores domestically and around 117 crores overseas. The first had grossed around 490 crores in its lifetime run, including 315 crores domestically and 175 crores overseas.## "PS-2" has done well at the Tamil Nadu box office with around 114 crores gross, becoming the third film of the year after "Varisu" and "Thunivu" to breach the 100 crores mark in the state. Tovino Thomas Confirms Superhero Movie 'Minnal Murali 2' Will Release Only In Theaters

Mumbai, May 10 - Malayalam star actor Tovino Thomas is on cloud nine after the massive success of his latest film 2018 which is based on the true events of the Kerala floods in 2018. The movie has grossed over 40 crores worldwide so far and now, the makers are gearing up to release it in other languages. ## Before "2018", Tovino Thomas made his way into the hearts of the nationwide audience with the fun critically acclaimed superhero movie Minnal Murali (2021). The audiences, however, were left disappointed that it didn't release in theaters after Netflix acquired rights for direct streaming. ## Since the movie turned into a huge success on OTT, Tovino confirmed in a recent interview that a sequel was in early development. Now, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama for "2018" promotion in Mumbai, the actor confirmed Minnal Murali 2 is being written, and this time, it will release only in theaters.## "We will release Minnal Murali 2 only in theaters. After it releases in the theaters, I want Netflix to acquire its OTT rights", said the actor.## The actor further said the movie was made keeping theaters in mind but due to the covid-19 pandemic and restrictions on theaters, it was not possible for the makers to release it on the big screens. He also lauded the efforts Netflix put into promoting the film on a wide scale which made Minnal Murali a nationwide sensation. ## "Having said that, when the second part (Minnal Murali 2) releases, I want it to be released in theaters only", he added.## The movie was directed by Basil Joseph from the script written by Arun Anirudhan and Justin Mathew. It stars Tovino as Jaison, a young tailor who gains superpowers after being struck by lightning and transforms into a superhero. Mumbai, May 10 - Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor-fronted romantic comedy film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar continues to attract audiences, this time on the digital platform. ## After the big box office success, Luv Ranjan's directorial movie debuted on Netflix on May 3rd and was the second most-viewed non-English film worldwide during the week of May 1 - May 7. ## The movie scored 11.35 million viewing hours in its 5-day opening weekend, which is one of the biggest post-theatrical digital debuts for an Indian film. Previously, Alia Bhatt's "Gangubai Kathiawadi" debuted with higher viewership at 13.81 million viewing hours after its theatrical release last year on Netflix. ## SS Rajamouli's global sensation "RRR" had scored 7.18 million viewing hours in its opening weekend on Netflix in May 2022. Amid huge expectations, the trailer of the film was launched on Tuesday and it exceeded expectations of all. ## The story of Adipurush is set in the time when Ram was in exile with Sita and Laxman and it mainly focuses on the Ram-Sita-Ravan conflict. Prabhas plays the role of Lord Rama and his look is different from the conventional one purely because he has been presented as a warrior which is Raut's strong point. ## The scene between Prabhas and Kriti Sanon who plays the role of Sita is beautiful and mesmerizing though their scenes are less in the trailer. Los Angeles, May 9 - India's international star Priyanka Chopra's Hollywood movie Love Again failed to make an impact at the box office in its opening weekend. ## Directed by James C. Strouse, the romantic comedy-drama film flopped after taking just a $2.38 million start in its 3-day domestic (North America) opening weekend from 2,703 theaters. The movie doesn't seem to be having a long life at the box office after poor critics and audience scores. ## The remake of the 2016 German film "SMS für Dich", "Love Again" earned a poor "B" CinemaScore and holds 19% on Rotten Tomatoes from 21 critics though the audience score on RT is on the higher side at 93% from 100+ users.## "Love Again" was projected to score $5 million - $10 million in its opening weekend but it failed to top even the lower point of projections. Luckily for Sony Pictures, the movie only cost $9 million to produce. It also stars Sam Heughan and Nick Jonas, among others in key roles. ## The movie is about a lady, Mira Ray (Priyanka), who is struggling to cope with the death of her fiancé. She unintentionally sends a sequence of romantic messages to his old cell phone number, which has been reassigned to Rob Burns' new work phone. As a journalist, Rob is drawn to the candidness in Mira's beautifully written texts.
