Marvel Studios' Disney Plus Series 'Loki' Season 2 and 'Echo' Release Date Locked

Los Angeles, May 17 - Marvel Studios has confirmed the release date of its highly-awaited Disney Plus series Loki - Season 2 along with "Hawkeye" spinoff series Echo.## The Tom Hiddleston-fronted "Loki - Season 2" will debut its premiere episode on October 6, 2023. It will be the first Marvel Studios series that is getting its second season after the highly successful first season, which debuted in 2021. ## Season 2 of Loki, which consists of 6 episodes, will be part of Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is set in an MCU-adjacent world, in which the God of Mischief is a fish out of water when he lands in trouble with the bureaucratic TVA (Time Variance Authority) after absconding with the Tesseract. ## Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead have directed the show while Eric Martin serves as head writer and has written all six episodes. Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Loki from the film series, with Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, and Jonathan Majors also starring, reprising their roles from the first season. ## Meanwhile, "Echo" will debut on November 29, 2023, and it will be the first Marvel series when all its episodes will release simultaneously. 'Fast X' Opening Day Advance Booking Status In India

Mumbai, May 17 - Hollywood films are having a good time at the Indian box office as recently released two low-profile films "John Wick: Chapter 4" and "Evil Dead Rise" emerged as surprise hits with the former went to scoring over 50 crores net collection.## Marvel Studios' "Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3" is also performing well and is nearing the 50 crores net mark. This momentum is expected to be continued as Universal Pictures' much-awaited Fast X, which is a bigger Hollywood IP than the aforementioned two films, is releasing next on this Thursday, May 18. ## The 10th installment of the "Fast & Furious" franchise is among the most-awaited Hollywood films, and keeping that in mind, the advance booking for the same was opened a month ago. As the release is getting nearer, the advance booking has started picking the pace and is already better than "GoTG3".## "Fast X" has sold approx. 170K advance tickets worth 4.50 crores gross for the opening day. The three national chains (PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis) have sold approx. 80K tickets and more than 50% of these tickets got booked in the last 48 hours. ## The movie has been able to clock good pre-sales which has ensured a good opening at the box office. "Fast And Furious 9: The Fast Saga", which was released during the peak of covid-19, took the opening of just 1.90 crores and went on to score around 14 crores in lifetime collection in India. ## "Fast X", which is releasing in a much better time, will look to open with a double-digit mark. As per reports, the movie would be released on around 2500 screens in India, so the double-digit opening is very much on the table, and if it gets favorable word of mouth, then it is sure to have a very good lifetime collection. Box Office: The Kerala Story Second Tuesday Early Estimates

Mumbai, May 16 - Blockbuster The Kerala Story has crossed the 150 crores net mark and becomes the second highest-grossing Bollywood movie of 2023 after another rock-solid day at the box office. ## On its second Tuesday, The Kerala Story sees a negligible drop of just around 5% for an estimated 9.75-10 crores net collection. This takes the total net collection to approx. 157 in just 12 days. It is now only behind Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" which is miles ahead with over 500 crores net. ## As far as the gross collection is concerned, TKS will cross 200 crores at the worldwide box office by tomorrow and will become the third Bollywood movie of the year to do so. The recently launched trailer did the trick and the song 'Jai Shri Ram' is already making waves across the world. ## To begin the one-month countdown, the makers of "Adipurush" released a new poster featuring Prabhas as Lord Ram sitting on Devdatta Nage who plays the role of Hanuman. Mumbai, May 16 - It is known to everyone that Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is doing an aerial action thriller film, titled Sky Force with Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and Jio Studios. ## "Sky Force", which is being co-directed by Sandeep Kelwani and Abhishek Kapur, is touted to be a true cinematic tentpole. The movie is based on true events and celebrates one of the greatest triumphs of the Indian Air Force. ## Now, according to Peepingmoon.com, Akshay has allotted 4 months to shoot the film and has already completed a short first schedule, beginning on May 9 in a Mumbai studio. It was a brief schedule where some talkie portions were filmed with Akshay and other cast members.## The report further revealed that the main schedule will begin next month and will continue through October 2023. The action-packed thriller will be shot on a massive scale across numerous air bases in Gujarat, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Assam over a four-month period. "SRK is willing to do commercial films that cater to a universal section of the audience, and Don certainly doesn't fit the bracket of cinema that he is willing to do for the coming few years", reveals the report.## SRK has reportedly conveyed his decision of leaving the franchise to the stakeholders at Excel. Kochi, May 15 - The Malayalam film industry's search for the third worldwide 100 crores grosser finally ends after nearly four years as survival thriller 2018 has breached this historic milestone.## Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, "2018" grossed approx. 100.20 crores through the second Monday (11 days) and becomes the fastest Malayalam movie to achieve the 100 crores worldwide gross milestone.## "2018" has taken just 11 days to breach the century mark. Mohanlal's "Lucifer", which was the last film to achieve this milestone, took 12 days for the same. The first Malayalam movie to gross 100 crores worldwide was also a Mohanlal-starrer, titled "Pulimurugan" (2016). ## The domestic collection of "2018" is approx 51.20 crores while the overseas collection is around 49 crores. Mumbai, May 15 - Director Atlee is gearing up for the release of his maiden Bollywood movie "Jawan" starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan, in September this year. While "Jawan" marks his directorial debut in Bollywood, the filmmaker has locked his next but this time as a producer. ## Over the last year, there have been rumours that Varun Dhawan and Atlee would collaborate for a mass entertainer. Varun too has expressed his wish to work with the filmmaker for an out-and-out action entertainer and now, as per the latest reports, the duo is finally coming together.## According to reports, Varun has been in talks with Atlee for a while now and they have finally decided to work together. It further revealed that Atlee would be producing the movie with Murad Khetani. The makers are currently working on finalizing the rest of the cast and crew.## The movie is said to be the adaptation of Thalapathy Vijay's "Theri" in which new characters will be added with a plot twist.
