Titled Sarpatta Round 2, the movie this time will be released in theaters unlike the original which was released directly on Amazon Prime Video. ## Arya took to Twitter and made the official announcement regarding the sequel. Mumbai, March 6 - The fans are rejoicing the blockbuster news of the making of Hera Pheri 3 featuring the original trio of Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal. The makers recently shot a promo for the same which will be released soon with the official announcement. ## "Hera Pheri 3" will be directed by Farhad Samji. The movie, along with the original lead trio, will also feature multiple other actors and one of them is Sanjay Dutt who will be making his debut in the Hera Pheri franchise. The reports have revealed that Sanjay will be playing the role of a gangster. ## The "Munna Bhai" actor was recently spotted at an event where he confirmed being a part of this much-awaited comic caper. The actor shared that he is thrilled to be a part of "Hera Pheri 3" and join Akshay, Sunil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal. ## "It's a great franchise, and I'm so happy to be a part of it. It was the last time when celebrity siblings in the Tamil industry came together for a film after delivering multiple hits together. ## In the past, the possibility of a sequel to "Thani Oruvan" was announced but the movie couldn't be launched. The duo of Jayam and Mohan have talked about reuniting for "Thani Oruvan 2" on multiple stages, and it seems, things are finally heading in the right direction. ## Last month, Jayam Ravi revealed that "Thani Oruvan 2" is taking to materialize, and now, director Mohan Raja has also himself confirmed the same. The movie is scheduled to release on March 8, Wednesday on the occasion of Holi with a long weekend ahead of it. ## The movie is releasing after Bollywood got hit with two back-to-back flops in the form of "Shehzada" and "Selfiee", so there is added pressure on TJMM to break the shackle. Much delight to the makers, the first-time pairing of Ranbir and Shraddha is set to spring a surprise at the box office, at least, the initial response to the pre-sales indicating the same. ## The full-fledged advance booking of TJMM was opened on Sunday (March 5) morning after three national chains (PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis) gradually opened the pre-sales on Saturday evening. As for the record, the film has sold approx. 30K tickets worth approx. 1 crore gross so far, and the numbers are increasing with each passing hour. Chennai, March 5 - Tamil star Dhanus's action drama Vaathi/SIR has crossed 100 crores gross at the worldwide box office, becoming only the second film of the actor to reach the mark. ## The Venky Atluri-directed Tamil-Telugu bilingual flick has taken just 17 days to reach the box office milestone. It grossed approx. 99.50 crores through the third Saturday (16 days) and is expected to collect approx. 2 crores gross on 3rd Sunday to take the movie past the 100 crores mark. ## "Vaathi" has grossed approx. 43.50 crores domestically so far while its Telugu version ("Sir") has minted approx. 34.50 crores gross for total domestic cume to 78 crores. The overseas collection of the film is approx. 22.50 crores, which is excellent for Dhanush-starrer. ## Produced by Sithara Entertainment, Srikara Studios, and Fortune Four Cinemas, "Vaathi/SIR" is having close numbers in Tamil Nadu and Telugu states. Hyderabad, March 5 - Telugu superstar Allu Arjun surprised one and all by announcing his maiden collaboration with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and producer Bhushan Kumar. The movie will start production after Vanga completes his "Spirit" with Prabhas which itself starts later this year. ## The announcement of AA's movie Vanga and Bhushan Kumar made a lot of buzz on social media, however, the makers didn't reveal much about the movie. While there is enough time for details about the movie to come out, according to the latest reports, the makers have already locked the title of this much-awaited Pan India biggie. ## According to Bollywood Hungama, the film, which is touted to be a mass entertainer, is tentatively titled "Bhadrakali". Interestingly, the film is co-produced by Sandeep Reddy Vanga's production house Bhadrakali Pictures, which is also owned by his brother Pranay Reddy Vanga. ## Allu Arjun is currently shooting for one of the most-anticipated Pan India films, "Pushpa - The Rule", which is the second part of the blockbuster "Pushpa - The Rise". It is most likely to release in 2024 in multiple languages. ## Apart from Vanga's film, Allu Arjun also has Trivikram Srinivas's next, however, it is not yet clear which film the actor will take first after "Pushpa 2". Vanga, on the other hand, is currently directing Ranbir Kapoor-fronted "Animal", which is slated to hit screens on August 11 in multiple languages. Jordan's directorial debut Creed III which also sees him starring in the lead role alongside Jonathan Majors and Tessa Thompson, packs a powerful punch at the domestic as well as overseas box office. ## The sports drama is set to score the biggest opening weekend for the "Creed" and "Rocky" film franchises after a super impressive $22 million opening Friday (including $5.45M in previews) at the domestic (North America) box office. It has done exceedingly well on Saturday and Sunday to put an estimated $58.6 million opening weekend.## "Creed 3" was projected to score $38 million - $40 million on opening weekend, which was still the highest in the franchise, but the phenomenal response to the movie is set to see it overcoming those pretty good projections. The audience CinemaScore of the movie is a solid A-, which is on par with DCEU's "The Batman" which was released last year. ## According to Deadline, "Creed 3" overperformed in the East and the South, however, it was strong throughout the domestic market. Moviegoer make-up was 63% guys, 55% between 18-34, and 29% between 35-54. "Creed 3" was 65% under 35, which is very similar to Creed II's 66% turnout for that crowd.## The international collection of "Creed 3" are also super solid with a $41.8 million opening weekend from 56 markets. Mumbai, March 4 - The King of romance, Shah Rukh Khan is officially the King of action as his latest blockbuster Pathaan has shattered all the existing records at the box office for a Bollywood film and that too, with ease.## The spy action thriller started its box office journey on January 25 and after 38 days, "Pathaan" is now the biggest blockbuster ever in India in a single language. It has crossed the lifetime net collection of SS Rajamouli's epic blockbuster "Baahubali 2" which scored 510.99 crores net in Hindi in 2017. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" is now the biggest Indian as well as a non-Indian movie at the domestic box office as far as the net collection is concerned. However, it is still behind "Baahubali 2" in terms of gross collection as tax rates were higher at the time of the letter's release back in 2017. ## As far as the single language is concerned, "KGF: Chapter 2" is the 3rd in the list with approx. 435 crores net in Hindi, followed by "RRR" at number 4 with approx. 428 crores net in the Telugu language, and Aamir Khan's "Dangal" which scored approx. 374 crores net in the Hindi language. ## Overall, "Pathaan" has scored approx. 530 crores net in all three versions (Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu). The worldwide gross collection of the Yash Raj Films' product is equally impressive with 1028 crores, including approx. 387 crores overseas after 38 days. ## Produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films, "Pathaan" is part of YRF's spy universe. Chennai, March 4 - Tamil star Dhanush has another major win at the box office as his latest Tamil-Telugu blockbuster Vaathi/SIR is set to enter the 100 crores club at the global box office.## Directed by Venky Atluri, the action drama film has grossed approx. 97.50 crores worldwide, including approx. 75.50 crores at the domestic box office in 15 days. It will be breaching the 100 crores mark at the end of the 3rd weekend and will become only the second film of Dhanush to achieve the feat.## "Vaathi" (Tamil version) has done very well so far, grossing approx. 42 crores domestically while its Telugu version (Sir) is equally impressive with approx. 33.50 crores. Dhanush's Telugu market has been rising over the last couple of years and "SIR" is a perfect example of it. Kang's one of the variants was introduced in Marvel's Disney+ "Loki" and going forward, Kang will be the center attraction of the MCU. ## The big-screen debut of Jonathan Majors as Kang brought him glowing appreciation, however, the movie got slammed by critics. "Ant-Man 3" is one of the worst-reviewed Marvel films in history with a 48% on Rotten Tomatoes, which nearly matches the record-low "Eternals" score of 47%. ## During the "Screen Talk" podcast of IndieWire, Majors reacted to the low critic scores for "Quantumania" and said that "It doesn't change how I see myself, period. It's all data". ## "They (critics) have an opinion. You always have an opinion. I'm no fool. I know these are people writing it. These aren't my Yale professors or my drama teachers. These are people who have kids and they have a perspective, they have a religious upbringing or a lack thereof. They live in this town, or they want to be seen in this way, or don't want to be seen in this way".## "I look at the aggregate and, ok, 47. But what does that 47 mean when you also got this amount of box office? What do these things mean? It's information. I am in the know. I won't play myself. If you are a critic on a level, I probably know you and understand your politics", the actor added.## Directed by Peyton Reed, "Ant-Man 3" has already seen highs and lows within the two weekends at the box office. The movie took the biggest opening in the "Ant-Man" franchise by scoring $106 million on the 3-day opening weekend (North America) but fell flat in the second weekend for a record 70% drop in the MCU.
