Mumbai, 22nd Feb 2023: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's comeback blockbuster has become the first ever Bollywood film to hit 500 crores net in the Hindi language and only 2nd movie in history to achieve this mark in the Hindi language after Baahubali 2. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan is on a record-breaking spree ever since it was released in theatres. On its 28th day, it hit a historic 500 crores net in Hindi. Mumbai, 21 Feb, 2023: After months of speculation, one of the most hyped comedy films Hera Pheri 3 has reportedly started filming silently. ## Over the past few months, a lot has happened regarding the highly anticipated film. Akshay Kumar, who has been at the forefront of the franchise, had announced that he wouldn't be part of the movie due to script issues. However, this made his and Hera Pheri franchise fans disappointed as it was hard to imagine Hera Pheri without Raju. ## Keeping the sentiments of the fans in mind, producer Firoz Nadiadwala started talks again with Khiladi Kumar and even made some changes to the scripts. They along with Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal recently met to discuss things further and that seems to have done wonders to the 3rd instalment of the epic franchise. ## According to Pinkvilla, Akshay along with Sunil and Paresh has started filming today at Empire Studios in Mumbai where the first Heri Pheri also went on floors back in 1999. ## It is said that the OG trio as well as producer Firoz are highly satisfied with the script and believe that it will do justice to all the hype and anticipation around it. ## Apart from the original Hera Pheri trio, Hera Pheri 3 will have several acclaimed actors in the comic space and more details on the entire extended ensemble of India’s biggest comic franchise will be unveiled in the coming few days. Box Office: Blockbuster Pathaan Surpasses 1000 Crores Worldwide

Mumbai, February 20 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan makes his debut in the 1000 crores club at the worldwide box office, thanks to the historic blockbuster Pathaan. ## The spy action thriller, directed by Siddharth Anand, has been running riot since its release on January 25 this year. Keeping domestic box office aside, Pathaan's overseas box office performance is eye-popping with approx. $46 million (380 crores gross). ## When combined with the Rs. 620 crores that the film has earned at the domestic box office, Pathaan's worldwide total has now crossed 1000 crores in just 27 days. ## The Yash Raj Films production is the first Bollywood movie to breach the 1000 crores mark without China and with China, overall, it is the second. Previously, Aamir Khan's Dangal has scored over 21 crores worldwide, including approx. 1300 crores from China alone.## Pathaan is also only the 5th Indian movie to reach the historic figure. Tamil Blockbuster 'Love Today' To Get The Hindi Remake

Mumbai, February 20 - The blockbuster Tamil romantic-comedy film Love Today is set to be remade in the Hindi languages. Phantom Studios in association with its original producers AGS Entertainment will be producing the Bollywood remake. ## Directed by Pradeep Ranganathan who also made his acting debut with this film, Love Today followed two young lovers who are forced to exchange their phones for a day and the consequences of that. Released in November last year, the movie was a big blockbuster and grossed over 85 crores worldwide. ## Archana Kalpathi, creative producer, AGS Entertainment, said, "With its reputation of always striving to produce good cinema, joining hands with Phantom Studios was a no-brainer and we look forward to working with them. Box Office: Dhanush's Vaathi/Sir Has An Excellent Opening Weekend Worldwide

Chennai, February 20 - Tamil star Dhanush is back in the form with his latest bilingual blockbuster film Vaathi/Sir. Directed by Venkry Atluri, the action drama film has completed its opening weekend with an excellent box office collection worldwide. ## The movie was released on February 17 and got positive reviews from critics and audiences. It opened to fantastic 11.4 crores gross, before jumping on Saturday for 13.7 crores gross while Sunday witnessed another jump for 14.20 crores gross in Tamil and Telugu languages. ## The domestic opening weekend of Vaathi/Sir saw 39.30 crores in both versions, becoming Dhanush's biggest opening weekend collection film. While the Tamil version was expected to perform well, the Telugu version surprised with the excellent collection.## In Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), SIR scored 16.40 crores gross in the first three days which is bigger than most of the recent Telugu films' lifetime collections. In Tamilnadu, Vaathi grossed 17.65 crores in the opening weekend. In Telugu states, the movie has already achieved the break-even target and heading toward a big blockbuster. ## Overseas, Vaathi/SIR racks in approx. 11 crores for worldwide opening weekend to over 50 crores gross, which is the highest for Dhanush. Los Angeles, February 20 - James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water has officially raced past his own Titanic to become the third highest-grossing film ever at the global box office. ## The sci-fi sequel, released in December last year, has grossed $2.243 billion through 10th Sunday. Titanic, which had grossed $2.194 billion worldwide before a global 3D rerelease earlier this month, now stands at $2.242 billion globally as 4th highest-grossing title ever.## Avatar 2 has raked in $657 million at the domestic (North America) box office, becoming the 9th biggest movie of all time there. Overseas, it has scored $1.59 billion over 52 markets. Los Angeles, February 19 - Marvel Studios/Disney's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has off to a fantastic start at the domestic as well as overseas box office. ## The superhero movie, starring Paul Rudd in the titular role, scored $105.50 million in the 3-day opening weekend at the domestic (North American) box office. It is by far the biggest opening in the Ant-Man franchise, beating the second installment's $75.8 million opening. ## Overseas, the Peyton Reed-directed flick grossed a strong $121.3 million opening weekend over 52 markets. Mumbai, February 19 - The remake of the Telugu movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Kartik Aaryan's Shehzada has a low opening weekend at the box office. There were a lot of expectations from this action comedy, especially after the blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, but it couldn't live up to those expectations. ## After scoring 12.65 crores net in the first two days, the Rohit Dhawan-directed scored an estimated 7-7.50 crores net on its first Sunday, pushing the total collection to around 20 crores. Shehzada scored around a 10% jump on Saturday and an almost similar jump is expected on Sunday. ## Meanwhile, Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania witnesses a drop on Sunday for an estimated approx. 8 crores net. The superhero movie scored 17.70 crores net in all languages after jumping around 11% on Saturday. The total collection of Ant-Man 3 is around 26 crores net in 3 days. ## The performance of Ant-Man 3 in India is good but it is nowhere near to the previous MCU films that opened to much better collections. Tokyo, February 19 - SS Rajamouli's epic blockbuster RRR has crossed the historic box office milestone of 1 billion Yen at the Japan box office, becoming the first-ever Indian film to achieve the feat. ## Starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan, RRR has crossed the ¥‎1 billion mark on its 122nd day. The movie was released in October of last year and since then, it has continued its steady run at the box office. The movie had a big boost in collection over the last few weeks which helped it go past the box office milestone. ## Rajinikanth's Muthu is the second highest-grossing Indian film in Japan with 400 million Yen. RRR crossed Muthu's record a long time back and hasn't looked back since then.
