Mumbai, March 17 - There is good news for the fans of "Kung Fu Panda". Netflix, one of the leading streaming platforms, has greenlit an animated "Kung Fu Panda" series with "Jumanji" actor, Jack Black, roped in to voice the main character, Po, reports Variety. ## Jack Black is not new in voicing Po in the "Kung Fu Panda" film franchise. He first lent his voice in the original "Kung Fu Panda" film in 2008, before reprising his role in "Kung Fu Panda 2" in 2011 and "Kung Fu Panda 3" in 2016. It is one of the highest-grossing animated film franchises with three films grossing $1.8 billion at the worldwide box office. ## Meanwhile, the Netflix series is titled "Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight", in which, a mysterious pair of weasels set their sights on a collection of four powerful weapons. Po must leave his home to embark on a globe-trotting quest for redemption and justice that finds him partnered up with a no-nonsense English knight named Wandering Blade. ## Together, these two mismatched warriors set out on an epic adventure to find the magical weapons first and save the world from destruction — and they may even learn a thing or two from each other along the way, as per Variety. In the film, Shahid will reportedly be playing the role of a cop who is chasing drug lords across the city. ## The film is produced by Ali Abbas Zafar and Himanshu Mehra of Offside Entertainment along with Sunir Kheterpal's Anthena Entertainment and Gaurav Bose's The Vermilion World Productions. Mumbai, March 16 - It is almost certain that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will next be doing the Hindi remake of the 2018 Spanish comedy-drama, "Campeones". The actor had himself confirmed on his birthday a couple of days ago that he is in talks for the same which will be directed by Shubh Mangal Saavdhan director RS Prasanna. ## The film will be produced by Sony Pictures India in association with Aamir's own banner, Aamir Khan Films. Now, as per the latest report by peepingmoon.com, the makers have approached actress Anushka Sharma to play the female lead opposite Aamir. The "NH 10" actress has reportedly given her verbal nod and will soon be announced on board officially. ## The "Campeones" Hindi adaptation will mark Aamir and Anushka's second collaboration after the all-time blockbuster "PK" in 2014. "RS Prasanna has started preparations for his Aamir Khan film after he gave his approval to proceed with the pre-production. He has initiated a conversation with Anushka Sharma to play the leading heroine, and the talks have so far been positive", reports peepingmoon.com.## The premise of the original film revolves around the journey of an arrogant drunkard coach, who trains a team of intellectually disabled people. The team eventually go on to win multiple championships across the globe. Hyderabad, March 16 - Mythri Movie Makers, in September 2020, had announced Pawan Kalyan's "PSPK 28" under the direction of Harish Shankar. The film, which marks Kalyan's second collaboration with Shankar after "Gabber Singh", was titled "Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh", a year later after the announcement. ## The movie was supposed to go on floors in 2021, but due to the covid-19 pandemic, and Kalyan's already announced films, director Harish's film got delayed. The movie is now readying to go on floors in June this year, for which, director Harish has started preparations. ## Meanwhile, there is a major development happened regarding the primary cast of the film. While Pawan Kalyan will reportedly be seen as a Telugu lecturer, the makers have roped in Pooja Hegde as the female lead, and she is said to be playing the role of an English lecturer. Harish Shankar, however, said in a conversation with idlebrain that "It's too early to talk about their roles". ## Apart from Pooja Hegde, Harish Shankar also confirmed that they are trying to rope in acclaimed actor, Pankaj Tripathi to play an important role in the film. Hyderabad, March 16 - Renowned filmmaker, SS Rajamouli has worked with some of the biggest Telugu stars in his nearly 2 decades-long career, and now, he is in talks to add one more Telugu superstar in his celebrated career. ## Rajamouli is currently busy promoting "RRR", which is scheduled to release on April 25th. It stars Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt in prominent roles. After "RRR", the maverick filmmaker with a team with superstar Mahesh Babu for a jungle adventure film that will go on floors next year. It will mark the duo's maiden collaboration. ## According to Pinkvilla, the "Baahubali" director will be directing Allu Arjun after Mahesh Babu's film. It is reported that Rajamouli and his writer father, KV Vijayendra Prasad, have worked on multiple ideas to bring them to the writing-table. While Mahesh Babu's film has been locked and is currently in the scripting stage, the duo also has plans for their immediate next, for which, they are said to be in talks with Icon Star. ## "There's a subject with them that warrants the presence of Allu Arjun, and they have had two to three meetings with the Icon Star already", Pinkvilla reports, adding "This would be the first time when he will work with an actor with an already established Pan India presence. While things are far away, this film is in the front runner of being Rajamouli's next after the Mahesh film". ## Allu Arjun, meanwhile, will soon be starting the second part of his recent blockbuster "Pushpa - The Rise". Titled "Pushpa - The Rule", the film will be directed by Sukumar and will go on floors in April this year. The film, which was released on March 11, has been putting some insane numbers at the box office, surpassing all the low trade expectations. ## Meanwhile, the state governments of India are making sure that the makers of the film get the best return for their investment in the film. In this process, as many as 9 states have declared the film tax-free. ## Haryana was the first state to make such an announcement. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday watched the movie in a theatre in Panchkula along with Haryana assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta. Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri's "The Kashmir Files", has created a record on rating site IMDb, and becomes the first Indian or possibly worldwide to get a perfect 10 score from the 50K or above audience votes. ## IMDb is one of the most trustable sources to judge a film. "The Kashmir Files" has been in the news for the last couple of weeks and very rightly, it is getting what it deserves the most. The IMDb's score can also be felt in the box office performance of this film as it surpassed all the expectations by miles. ## The movie has had a limited release on Friday and still managed to earn over Rs. 3.50 crores. Due to the heavy demand for tickets, more shows were added on Saturday, which resulted in a massive jump of nearly 140% on the first Saturday for Rs. 8.50 crores.
