The superhero film, based on DC Comics, has stormed past $600 million at the worldwide box office, becoming only the 4th Non-Chinese movie to achieve the feat during the covid-19 pandemic. ## The Matt Reeves-directed was released on the March 1st weekend worldwide and has been unstoppable since then at the box office. The domestic and international gross share is almost 50:50 for "The Batman" as the film has grossed $300 million in North America and $300.4 million internationally. ## Domestically, "The Batman" has become the joint 3rd fastest movie ever to reach $300 million, released in the month of March. It took just 17 days to reach the milestone and is tied up with "The Hunger Games". Earlier, "Beauty And The Beast" reached the box office landmark in just 10 days, followed by "Captain Marvel" in 16 days. ## Meanwhile, at the global box office, "The Batman" is the 4th biggest Hollywood title since "Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker" (2019). Only "Spider-Man: No Way Home" ($1.88B), "No Time to Die" ($762M), and "F9: The Fast Saga" ($723M), has grossed more than the Warner Bros.' movie. It is expected to reach number 2 by the end of its box office run. ## "The Batman" is a reboot of the Batman film franchise. The film sees Batman, who has been fighting crime in Gotham City for two years, uncovering corruption while pursuing the Riddler (Paul Dano), a serial killer who targets Gotham's elite. The Kashmir Files Hits Double Century At The Worldwide Box Office

Mumbai, March 21 - Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri's "The Kashmir Files" has hit the double century mark at the worldwide box office, becoming the first Indian film of 2022 to achieve the feet. ## Based on the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits, TKF has achieved the box office milestone in just 10 days, which is an extraordinary feat for a low-budget film. The film had scored 97.30 crores net in the first week while the second-weekend collection lent on 70.15 crores (3rd biggest of all-time). ## The film was declared tax-free in some of the Indian states which helped the makers to earn more profit. Thanks to government support, the net collection of TKF reached 167.45 crores in just 10 days (194 cr. gross). Overseas, the film has so far grossed approx. 20 crores, pushing the global total to 214 crores. ## The Kashmir Files has become the highest-grossing film for Anupam Kher, and Mithun Chakraborty, who played prominent roles in the film, so is for the director Vivek Agnihotri. It also stars Pallavi Joshi, Puneet Issar, Chinmay Mandlekar, Mrinal Kulkarni, Darshan Kumar, and Prakash Belawadi in key roles. ## Produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts, Zee Studio, and Vivek Agnihotri Creates, TKF will cross 200 crores net in the second week, mostly by the second Wednesday. Mumbai, March 20 - Alia Bhatt-fronted "Gangubai Kathiawadi" has emerged as the first Bollywood hit of 2022. The biographical drama, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, was released on February 25 amid not so big hype but was able to take a good opening at the domestic box office. ## Gangubai Kathiwadi, which marks Alia Bhatt's first theatrical release since 2019's "Kalank", has become the actress's second-biggest domestic earning film of all time with a total net collection of approx. Rs. 126 crores. It is behind only "Gully Boy" (₹ 139.63 Cr), and this positive is unlikely to change. ## Made on a lavish budget, "Gangubai Kathiwadi" has had a very good first week with ₹ 68.93 crores net. It did very well to hold the ground strongly in the second week by dropping just 47% for ₹ 36.52 crores. During the 3rd week, the film faced stiff competition with "The Kashmir Files".
