It was the film that broke the barrier of languages, and its sequel, "Baahubali: The Conclusion", literally made everyone go crazy. ## It has already been nearly 5 years since the release of "Baahubali 2", and there have been talks about its 3rd part for a long time now. In one of the interviews recently, SS Rajamouli had confirmed that "Baahubali 3" will happen, but when it will happen, there is no clarity on yet. ## After Rajamouli, Prabhas, who shot to worldwide fame after this historical action drama film, also hinted about part 3. During the media interaction while promoting "Radhe Shyam", the actor was asked about the possibility of the next chapter in the series. 20th Century Studios Assures 'Avatar 2' Will Be Released In December 2022

Mumbai, March 4 - James Cameron's global sensation, "Avatar 2", will be in the action from December this year, after speculations of its postponement. The sequel to the 2009's sci-fi epic, as assured by 20th Century Studios president Steve Asbell, will not be delayed again. ## "Avatar 2", had there been no covid-19 pandemic, would have been released in December 2021 itself, but now be hitting worldwide screens on December 16, 2022. While speaking with THR, Steve Asbell was asked whether Avatar 2 would premiere in theaters this year, and without so much as a pause, Asbell said, "Yes. It will". ## Set in the mid-22nd century, "Avatar" shattered box office records upon its release in 2009 and went on to become the highest-grossing film of all time at the worldwide box office. The record was later broken when "Avengers: Endgame" was released in 2019, but it reclaimed it upon its re-release in China last year with a $2.84 bliion. ## Despite the thundering response to the first film, Asbell doesn't know how many people have actually been eagerly awaiting the next four Avatar movies. He, however, bet on James Cameron to deliver yet again and is confident that the marketing department will be able to pump audiences up once more. ## "Avatar 2 going to blow people away and that audience is not ready for what Jim [Cameron] is doing", he added. "I can tell you that there is no better marketing apparatus in the business than the one at Disney. They will do an incredible job reigniting that passion for the original film. This is not just a sequel, it's a saga. Mumbai, March 3 - It has been a dream comeback for Alia Bhatt on the big screen with "Gangubai Kathiawadi", after taking a direct-to-digital route for her previous movie, "Sadak 2".## Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, "Gangubai Kathiawadi" has become the first Bollywood, and third Indian movie of 2022 to score a century at the worldwide box office. It has been unstoppable at the box office since its launch on February 25 and scored the milestone in just 6 days. ## On Wednesday, the biographical drama film earned Rs. 6.21 crores net at the Indian box office, pushing total domestic cume to Rs. 63.53 crores net (Rs. 75 crores gross). Overseas, it has so far grossed approx. Rs. 26 crores, helping the film's worldwide total to reach Rs. 101 crores, becoming the 9th film for Alia to reach the milestone. ## "Gangubai Kathiawadi" is currently Alia Bhatt's 10th highest-grossing film at the domestic box office. It will cross "Dear Zindagi" (Rs. 68.45 cr.), "Student Of The Year" (Rs. 70 cr.), "Kapoor & Sons" (Rs. 73.22 cr.), "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" (Rs. 76.81 cr.), and possibly "Kalank" (Rs. 84.6 cr.) by the end of the second weekend to become the 5th biggest grosser for the Alia. ## The film has crossed the lifetime net total of "Secret Superstar" (Rs. 63.4 cr.) which is the 4th highest-grossing Indian movie of all time at the worldwide box office with Rs. 912.75 crores, to become the 168th biggest Hindi film. In the all-time biggest Hindi movie list (Net collection), "Gangubai Kathiawadi" is expected to reach number 151 at the end of the first week. ## The movie is based on the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai by S. Hussain Zaidi. After netting Rs. 97 crores in the first five days, the action drama film, on Tuesday, scored an estimated Rs. 5.50 crores, taking total domestic net cume to Rs. 102.50 crores. ## "Bheemla Nayak" took just 6 days to reach the box office milestone. It has already become the biggest Telugu movie released in the month of February of all time. Overseas, "Bheemla Nayak" has so far grossed over Rs. 25 crores, pushing worldwide cume to approx. Fans can vote for their favorite movies from 2021 on Oscars' official website or can tweet with the hashtag #OscarsFanFavorite. ## The initiative was launched on February 18 and the fans can vote or tweet their favorite movie till March 3rd. After months of speculation and eagerness among the fans, Yash Raj Films finally decided to put a brake on that and announced Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's big-screen comeback with spy action thriller film, "Pathaan". ## Even though the movie has been in production since 2020, YRF finally made the official announcement regarding the same and also confirmed its arrival date. For the first time, a Shah Rukh Khan movie will be released in multiple languages as "Pathan" will hit screens on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. ## The announcement of "Pathaan" has already hyped the fans. It is currently in the last leg of production and will be completed soon. Siddharth Anand is directing this high-octane actioner that is said to be the beginning of YRF's spy universe. John Abraham and Deepika Padukone have also featured in prominent roles in the film. ## Meanwhile, the much-awaited comeback of SRK might be challenged at the box office. It will, in fact, will be challenged as Republic Day 2023 is already booked for big-ticket ariel actioner, "Fighter", starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. The "Krish" actor is in the red hot form as his last film, "War" did wonder at the box office. ## There are a lot of similarities between "Pathaan", and "Fighter", and the biggest of them is director Sidharth Anand himself, who will also be directing the Hrithik Roshan fronted. Siddharth had also directed "War". Deepika is the leading lady in both movies. ## However, there are high chances that "Fighter" may get postponed to a later date to make the road clear of "Pathaan". Siddharth Anand is not only directing this film but also is the producer along with Viacom18 Studios of it. After scoring Rs. 85.45 crores in the first 4-days, the Saagar Chandra-directed witnessed growth on Tuesday due to the partial holiday. ## As per the early estimates, the action drama film sees a jump of 16% for Rs. 9.60 crores net on Tuesday. This pushes the total domestic net collection to an estimated Rs. 95.05 crores. The movie also crosses Rs. 100 crores gross at the Indian box office. ## Overseas, "Bheemla Nayak" is super strong, grossing approx. Rs. 25 crores so far. At the USA box office, the Pawan Kalyan-fronted movie has already crossed a magical milestone of $2 million. The total worldwide collection of the film currently stands at approx. Rs. 135 crores after 5 days. ## Meanwhile, Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar's "Valimai" couldn't get the benefit of the holiday as it continues to take a further dip at the domestic box office. On Tuesday, the action thriller drops 20% for Rs. 3.80 crores net total for all languages. It dropped big on Monday for Rs. 4.75 crores. ## The Tuesday estimated, however, takes "Valimai" past Rs. 100 crores gross in India with approx. Rs. 102 crores.
