Andhra Pradesh Government Warns Theatre Owners Regarding Pawan Kalyan's 'Bheemla Nayak'

Hyderabad, February 24 - The government of Andhra Pradesh has warned the theater owners regarding the showcasing of superstar Pawan Kalyan's "Bheemla Nayak", which is slated to release on February 25. ## Ahead of the release of "Bheemla Nayak", the Andhra Pradesh government issued a notice, warning the theatre owners to follow the regulations regarding the ticket prices. Interestingly, the state government had recently reportedly promised to revise the ticket prices after the meeting with Tollywood stars. ## However, even after two weeks, the government has failed to issue new government order regarding the ticket prices, which will affect the business of "Bheemla Nayak". The theater owners have been asked to sell the tickets at old prices, which might cause a huge loss to the theatre owners, buyers, and the businessmen involved in the trade.## The state government also has issued strict orders warning the theatre owners to not allow benefit shows or special screenings of the movie in Andhra Pradesh. No benefit shows and the least prices might result in many theatres not screening the movie.## While there are talks that the YSRCP people have intentionally postponed the introduction of the new government order, it is also in the news that the special committee is yet to submit the proposals for the ticket price hike.## Stay tuned...

Mumbai, February 24 - British actor, Charlie Cox, who played the character of Man without Fear in the Netflix series "Daredevil" from 2015 to 2018, has confirmed that he will be returning to reprise his Daredevil role in the future Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) project. ## A little indication about Cox's future MCU appearance was given when he appeared in a short cameo in the MCU's recently released "Spider-Man: No Way Home". His Matt Murdock appears in a single scene in the film, offering Peter Parker (Tom Holland) legal advice after Spider-Man's secret identity has been revealed to the world.## Speaking to RadioTimes.com to promote his Irish crime drama, "Kin", the actor revealed that he is aware of plans for him to appear on-screen again as the Man without Fear. "I know something," he hinted. "I don't know much, but I know there will be something else".## Cox's single scene appearance in "Spider-Man: No Way Home" surprised fans, but they wondered if his role was lined up for the larger screen time. Supreme Court Suggests Makers Of 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' To Change Name Of The Movie

Mumbai, February 23 - The makers of the upcoming Bollywood movie, "Gangubai Kathiawadi" have been suggested to change the title of the film by the Supreme Court of India. Scheduled to release on February 25th, "Gangubai Kathiawadi" stars Alia Bhatt in the title role. ## According to TOI, the apex court made the suggestion in the wake of the several pending cases before the court seeking a halt to the release of the film, based on various factors. The report states that Bhansali's lawyer has said he will seek instructions from the filmmaker before the court continues the hearing tomorrow, February 24.## Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, "Gangubai Kathiawadi" is loosely based on the true story of Gangubai Harjivandas, popularly known as Gangubai Kothewali, whose life was documented in the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai written by S. Hussain Zaidi.## Seeking the ban on the film, several cases have been filed in various courts. Babu Ravji Shah also filed a case against the filmmaker, alleging that the film is defamatory towards his mother. Los Angeles, February 23 - Hollywood filmmaker, Christopher Nolan seems to be on a mission, a mission to bring the best of the best star cast for his next directorial, "Oppenheimer". Based on the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the theoretical physicists remembered as one of the fathers of the atom bomb, the movie stars Cillian Murphy of Peaky Blinders as the title hero. ## If you wondering Cillian Murphy is the only star, playing a prominent role in Nolan's film, then you are definitely missing all the interesting things and casting happening around the film. But, fear not and read on to know everything about the cast of the film (so far).## On Tuesday (Feb. 22), Universal Pictures revealed the first-look image from the film, a black-and-white portrait of Murphy in character as Oppenheimer, gazing into the camera with a cigarette dangling from his lips. The studio also announced that Emmy Award winner, Kenneth Branagh has boarded the project, the details about his role, however, are kept in check for now. ## Branagh is just the latest to join the impressive list of stars, set to appear in Oppenheimer. Earlier, "A Quiet Place" actress Emily Blunt was announced on board to play Oppenheimer's wife. Matt Damon roped in to play General Leslie Groves Jr., the director of the Manhattan Project, and Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr. is taking on the role of U.S. Atomic Energy Commission chairman Lewis Strauss.## Continuing the list, "Black Widow" star Florence Pugh cast as Jean Tatlock, a psychiatrist and member of the Communist party who had a romantic relationship with Oppenheimer. The rest of the cast includes Benny Safdie, Josh Hartnett, Michael Angarano, Rami Malek, Dylan Arnold, Dane DeHaan, Matthew Modine, David Krumholtz, and Alden Ehrenreich in other prominent roles. ## Some of the stars who will be appearing in "Oppenheimer", have already worked with Nolan in his previous movies. Branagh had starred in British directors Dunkirk and Tenet. Murphy, meanwhile, appeared in all three of Nolan's Batman films, as well as Dunkirk and Inception. Damon had a role in 2014's sci-fi epic Interstellar. ## "Oppenheimer", meanwhile, has just entered production, and will be released in theaters on July 21, 2023. After entering the top 5 in the second week of February, the series has now surpassed "Money Heist: Part 3 & Part 4" to reach number 3 with 536.39 million viewing hours on Netflix. ## During the 3rd week of February (Feb. 14 - Feb. 20), "All of Us Are Dead" Season 1 was the most-watched non-English series worldwide with 62.13 million viewing hours. Even though it was made available on the OTT platform 4 weeks after its theatrical run, the Telugu action thriller continues to attract audiences in theaters, which has been a pleasing sight for the film industry. ## "Pushpa - The Rise" has truly been a trendsetter and surpassed many outright Bollywood films at the box office. While it will finish behind Akshay Kumar-fronted "Sooryavanshi" in terms of business, Pushpa, however, has beaten this Rohit Shetty-directed at one of the crucial aspects of theatrical terms, footfalls. ## "Sooryavanshi", which was released on Diwali 2021, attracted 11 million footfalls in theaters in India and did nearly Rs. 196 crores business at the box office. "Pushpa - The Rise", on the other hand, has invited nearly 13.10 million footfalls, which is the biggest for a Hindi movie during the covid-19 pandemic. "Pushpa", due to the low ticket prices as compared to "Sooryavanshi", has so far done the business of Rs. 105.50 crores in Hindi. ## Even though "Pushpa" falls behind "Sooryavanshi" in terms of business, the makers and Indian cinema industry will be more than happy, considering the movie has brought the audiences to the theaters in large numbers. "Sooryavanshi" too has done very well, especially knowing the fact that it was the first major Bollywood release during the health crisis. ## Directed by Sukumar, "Pushpa" is a two-part release. The first of two cinematic parts depicts the rise of a coolie in the smuggling syndicate of red sandalwood, a rare wood that grows only in the Seshachalam Hills of Andhra Pradesh state. Including Hindi, the movie has done the business of over Rs. 350 crores worldwide. Despite getting mixed reviews from critics, the movie is garnering massive views on the streamer. ## The film, unsurprisingly, climbed to the number 1 spot in the following week (Feb. 14 - Feb. 20) with 7.1 million views. After 10 days, "Gehraiyaan" has gained 13.6 million views, becoming one of the most-watched Indian films during the same period. The viewership data are tracked by Ormax Media, a media consulting firm, which tracks viewership figures of the top releases across major platforms. ## Released on February 11, "Gehraiyaan" narrates the complexity of modern relationships. It had gained 6.5 million views in the first 3 days on Prime Video, landing in the second spot in the weekly viewership chart. The film also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Dhairya Karwa in prominent roles.## Yami Gautam-fronted, a vigilante thriller film "A Thursday", was the second most-watched Indian title last week with 5.3 million views in a little over 3 days. It was released on Disney Plus Hotstar on February 17, skipping theatrical release. ## "The Great Indian Murder" on Disney Plus Hotstar scored 4.6 million views this past week and was the 3rd most-watched title. With 6.8 million views, the series was at number 1 during the week of Feb. 7 to Feb. 13.
