Allu Arjun Starrer Pushpa To Have A Two-Part Release, Confirms The Producer

Hyderabad, May 13, 2021: From the last couple of weeks, there has been a buzz that Allu Arjun starrer upcoming mega budgeted film, Pushpa will release in two parts. Now, confirming the buzz, one of the producers of the film, Ravi Shankar said that it will indeed release in two parts with the second will release in 2022. ## According to producer Ravi, the decision to bring the movie in two parts was taken months back in November last year as the movie has a lot of spans that couldn't be narrated in just one part. Currently, the shoot of Pushpa has been put on hold due to the lockdown in the state. However, the producer confirmed that the first part has already been wrapped up, only a song and a couple of scenes are left to be canned for the first part. ## It is being said that the second part will be a continuation of the first one. Fahadh Faasil, who marks his Telugu debut with Pushpa, will reportadly make his entry during the climax of the first part. The makers have also ensured that the first part will be released by October or November this year, and the second will be released in quick succession in the first quarter of 2022. ## "So far we have finished 10 percent of Pushpa's second part. We are adding another song to the story as it has been split into two parts, the additional song is an item number. But we haven't yet decided on which heroine the song has to be shot", states the producer according to Spotboye.com. ## Directed by Sukumar, the second part promises to be on a different level compared to the first one, and it will be shot in some exotic locations that will be a visual feast. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. ## Pushpa is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media. The music of the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, famously known as Rockstar DSP. Mumbai, May 13, 2021: It could have been a blockbuster Eid for cinema owners if the covid-19 pandemic were not here to spoil their much-deserved party with Salman Khan starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. However, for the change, the OTT platforms, Zeeplex, and Zee5 along with overseas theaters came to life with the release of this big mass entertainer after a long time. ## Radhe, which was held back for a theatrical release for more than a year, couldn't avert the inevitable because of the pandemic. The movie, which finally saw a release on May 13 on the occasion of Eid, went for a hybrid release - the first of its kind of release in India. However, the devastating second wave of the covid-19 pandemic forced theaters to shut again all over India which lead to Radhe become an automatic direct to OTT release. ## Directed by Prabhu Deva, and produced by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Atul Agnihotri, and Zee Studios, Radhe has an ensemble cast including Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, and Jackie Shroff along with Megha Akash, Gautam Gulati, Arjun Kanungo, Govind Namdev, and others. ## Though the theatrical release of Radhe in India gone for toss, the movie saw one of the biggest overseas releases for Salman Khan film with over 750 screens. It was premiered on May 12 in Dubai and received mixed responses from the moviegoers. RRR Movie Demands Respect From Its Technicians: Jr. NTR

Hyderabad, May 12, 2021: Baahubali director, S.S. Rajamouli's next, RRR, is the hottest anticipated film of the year. Rajamouli, who is known for bringing perfection to his work, is working on RRR since 2018, though there have been hurdles due to the covid-19 pandemic. ## While a little bit of shoot is still left, the movie, which stars two of the biggest names in Telugu cinema, N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan, is very much on track for October 13, 2021, release as scheduled amid the rumours of it getting postponed to the next year. ## In an interview with Deadline, Jr. NTR talks about the film and said that it could turn out to be the savior for the Indian cinema, which is gasping due to the pandemic. While talking about the film, NTR also talked about Rajamouli, who, as NTR referred, is a perfectionist and everything he makes must be nothing less than perfect. ## NTR also said that RRR, which revolves around two legendary Indian revolutionaries and their journey to fight for their country, is one such film that demanded respect from technicians for its scale and time being invested in it. ## "It has been a long journey, when you're dealing with Rajamouli that's how it's going to be. This man shot Baahubali for five years, across two parts. On RRR, we were stuck with the pandemic for about eight months, technically we shot for about nineteen months. This film demanded that kind of respect from its technicians. The action sequences are going to leave people flabbergasted. It needed that time to become a film as big as it was expected to be", the actor said to Deadline. ## When asked if the makers of RRR ever consider releasing the movie directly onto an OTT platform, NTR said that it is one of the films that need to be enjoyed as a community on a large screen, not on OTT platforms. He gave examples of Baahubali, Jurassic Park, and Avengers, which were made for the big screen experience. ## Meanwhile, apart from RRR, Jr. NTR will reunite with director Koratala Siva for NTR30, after the blockbuster Janatha Garage. The movie is scheduled to release on 29 April 2022. He also revealed that he will join K.G.F. director Prashanth Neel for NTR31. Los Angeles, May 11, 2021: Hollywood star Tom Cruise has returned his three Golden Globes awards to join the protest against the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). ## The actor has delivered back to the HFPA the three Golden Globe trophies he won, which are the Best Actor prize for "Jerry Maguire", the Best Actor prize for "Born on the Fourth of July", and the Best Supporting Actor prize he won for "Magnolia". ## Cruise becomes the latest star to speak out against HFPA, which is under fire for months following widespread allegations of racism, sexism, bullying, and corruption among its ranks. Last week, the HFPA's membership voted to approve a proposal of reforms aimed at addressing its lack of diversity and other ethics issues. ## However, the backlash from Hollywood has been fierce as Tom Cruise joins the likes of Hollywood's A-listers such as Scarlett Johansson and Mark Ruffalo along with Netflix and Amazon and powerful executives, who condemn the changes as too slow, lacking in specifics, and failing to address some of the industry's most fundamental grievances. ## Amid the raging controversy, the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) has also decided not to air the 2022 Golden Globes, taking a firm stand against HFPA's new changes in reforms. ## The network said in a statement, "We continue to believe that the HFPA is committed to meaningful reform. Salman Khan Apologizes To Cinema Owners; Wishes To Release Radhe In Theaters When Lockdown Ends

Mumbai, May 11, 2021: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has apologized to theater owners who were hoping actor's upcoming film, "Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai" to release in theaters and help them recover their losses due to the covid-19 pandemic. ## Directed by Prabhudheva, the movie will start streaming on multiple platforms, including OTT and DTH services, on May 13 at the festival of Eid. It will also release in theaters whenever they are open in India, though most of the states have shut the cinemas due to the second covid-19 wave. ## "I apologize to cinema owners who were hoping to earn profits with the release of this film. We waited as long as we could, hoping that this pandemic would end and we would be able to release in theatres all over the country. But that did not happen. We don't know when things will go back to normal", Salman Khan told reporters in a roundtable interview from Mumbai. ## "I couldn't have kept my Eid commitment with fans without the support of ZEE. It was important to release the film at a time like this because people are suffering due to the pandemic. Incomes have reduced for many, so now, instead of spending a lot of money on tickets at the cinemas, people can watch it at a much cheaper rate at home. I want to provide some entertainment to people at a grim time like this", Salman said. ## However, the actor again expressed his desire to release the film in theaters when things subside and it is 'safe' for people to visit cinema halls. ## "I know people are disappointed that they will not be able to watch Radhe on the big screen. Some people have booked auditoriums and are planning to screen my film, which I won't encourage because I don't want people to say 'Salman Khan ki picture dekhne gaye aur corona phail gaya'. Once everything is safe, we will release the film again in the theatres. We hope the film does well then too", the actor said.## Radhe is said to have a remake of the 2017 Korean film The Outlaws.
