It grossed an estimated 17 crores on Sunday for all languages, jumping approx. 5% from Saturday collection. ## "Black Panther 2", however, scored lower as compared to the previous Marvel movies in India in 2022. The last Marvel movie "Thor: Love and Thunder" had grossed approx. 55 crores in the first three days while "Doctor Strange 2" scored a gigantic approx. 94 crores in the opening weekend. With approx. 40% growth from Saturday, the movie scored an estimated 6 crores gross (5.05 crores net), pushing total gross collection to approx. 12.40 crores (10.30 crores net) in 3 days, which is a good result for a film that has a limited release. ## The advance booking of "Uunchai" for Monday is decent, which indicates it might top the opening day numbers on its 4th day. The superhero sequel of the 2018's film grossed an estimated approx. 15 crores for all languages. ## The opening of "Wakanda Forever" is lower as compared to the previous Marvel movies, this may be because Black Panther is not as popular as other Marvel characters. Marvel's 'Black Panther 2' And DC's 'Black Adam' Will Not Release In China

Los Angeles, November 11 - Marvel Studios' latest blockbuster Black Panther: Wakanda Forever along with Warner Bros. DC superhero flick Black Adam are unlikely to release in China, the biggest movie market in the world, according to The Hollywood Reporter.## The Beijing regulators continue to crack down on American movies, particularly Marvel/Disney. The market of Hollywood movies in China has reduced drastically over the last few years but still, the snubbing of top-tier superhero titles is costing the studios tens of millions of lost potential revenue. ## While the official word on the ban on "Black Panther 2" is awaited, THR reports that the film's denial comes as little surprise given the recent track record of Marvel movies in the Middle Kingdom. The first "Black Panther", which was released in 2018, grossed $105 million in China.## China has been a big market for Marvel films, however, since the covid-19 pandemic, the scenario has changed for the studio to get permission to release the film there. Over the last year or so, China has banned Marvel titles - "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" (2021) and "Eternals" (2021) along with "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (2021) and others.## Meanwhile, Dwayne Johnson's "Black Adam", which was released a couple of weeks ago and has already crossed $320 million worldwide, has also reportedly been banned in China. Johnson's films have done good business in the country such as "Skyscraper" ($98 million in China) and Hobbs & Shaw ($201 million). ## Stay tuned...

"Black Panther 2's" critics' score currently stands at 88% from 128 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. It is, however, low compared to its predecessor which scored 96% score. ## The sequel's journey to the big screen endured its own tragedy when Chadwick Boseman, who played the titular role of T'Challa/Black Panther in the 2018 film, died of colon cancer in August 2020. Wakanda Forever's cast includes Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong'o, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira, Florence Kasumba, and Martin Freeman, as well as Marvel newcomer Tenoch Huerta as Namor and Dominique Thorne as the hero Riri Williams.## Stay tuned...

'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' First Reactions Are Out Online

Los Angeles, October 28 - Marvel Studios/Disney's most anticipated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has had its world premiere in Hollywood on Wednesday and the first reactions are overwhelmingly positive and it seems the movie made everyone emotional as it is touted to be the best homage to actor Chadwick Boseman who played Black Panther in the first movie. ## "Black Panther", which was released in 2018, was one of the biggest hits in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, grossing $700 million at the domestic (North America) box office and $1.3 billion worldwide. It was also the first comic book movie nominated for best picture at the Oscars. ## The anticipation for the "Black Panther" sequel is already sky-high and after the kind of reception it is getting from its world premiere, it is certain to take one of the biggest openings in MCU history. It stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Dominique Thorne, Florence Kasumba, Michaela Coel, Tenoch Huerta, Martin Freeman, and Angela Bassett. "Black Panther 2" is slated to open on November 11. ## Have a look at some of the reactions on the movie - ## #BlackPanther #WakandaForever is epic, especially in scope.Namor is one of the better villains the MCU has had to offer. Tenoch Huerta just kills it!Emotions are heavy. Ryan Coogler ups his game on the action. It’s a lot to take in, balance so much, and is powerfully good. pic.twitter.com/NYxk1UvTYz— BD (@BrandonDavisBD) October 27, 2022 ## This is the first MCU film where I cried through the end credits. Everyone around me was a mess. Ryan Coogler & team crafted one of the GREAT sequels, hands down. A beautiful story about finding strength in grief & community to uplift. A film that brings its whole heart & soul pic.twitter.com/GFs2EweJ4y— Erik Davis (@ErikDavis) October 27, 2022 ## Continues to be one of my favorite ensembles out there. M’Baku is still my #1, but Letitia Wright’s Shuri is quite the beating heart of this film. And Tenoch Huerta? They couldn’t have found a better Namor.— Perribite (@PNemiroff) October 27, 2022 ## #WakandaForever is fantastic! Coogler delivers a soulful, wondrous sequel that packs an emotional punch & effectively explores relevant world themes. A beautiful tribute to Boseman’s legacy. Letitia & Tenoch are great, & the mid-credits scene is really moving. #BlackPanther pic.twitter.com/dqoSSfnTR9— Fico (@FicoCangiano) October 27, 2022 ## #BlackPantherWakandaForever is a beautiful tribute to Chadwick Boseman. Visual stunner, with Angela Bassett commanding every scene she inhabits. Rihanna's "Lift Me Up" will do that for many. Another great post credit scene that's genuinely a jaw-dropper. Don't know about Oscars. pic.twitter.com/55YSor1PrD— Clayton Davis - Stand with 🇺🇦 (@ByClaytonDavis) October 27, 2022 ## Ryan Coogler's #BlackPantherWakandaForever, above all else, is cathartic. An emotional movie about loss, legacy and healing. The story is intimate, but vast with global power struggles and palace intrigue. Tenoch Huerta's Namor is a FORCE, better than I hoped. So much to discuss. pic.twitter.com/cDFVcPYHRR— Sean O'Connell (@Sean_OConnell) October 27, 2022 ## #WakandaForever's bigger in scope and scale than #BlackPanther, but its story is also one of Marvel's most intimate and heartfelt. It's definitely a Comic Book Movie, but it’s one that centers grief and the grieving process rather than superheroics and spectacle. Full review soon pic.twitter.com/MzIjwVzjBd— Charles, Witch from Mercury (@CharlesPulliam) October 27, 2022 ## #WakandaForever REVIEW: MARVEL’S MAGNUM OPUS. Ryan Coogler does it again, delivering a very EMOTIONAL, EPIC & sexy, horny adventure. WOW. This isn’t just another superhero movie, it’s one of the BEST films ever! GREAT action too. A fitting end setting up what’s next #BlackPanther pic.twitter.com/xZeh7YPtMu— watching as intended (@theatomchode) October 27, 2022 ## It's hard to shake the emotional weight #BlackPanther #WakandaForever carries throughout the entire film. More serious in tone, a wonderful conclusion to Phase Four. It celebrates women as the fiercest protectors of all. Angela Bassett. Tenoch Huerta. Michaela Coel. RIHANNA! pic.twitter.com/9V2gcmKJpA— espooky bloody marie 🎃🇵🇷 (@TheJosieMarie) October 27, 2022 ## Just saw #BlackPantherWakandaForever If you’re looking for that Marvel feel that has been missing, this is it. Emotional, maybe 10 minutes too long, but who cares? Overall, a throwback to what made Marvel special in the first place. A beautiful tribute to Chadwick Boseman.— Kristian Harloff (@KristianHarloff) October 27, 2022 ## I saw #WakandaForever and trying to hold space to really gather my thoughts. Will share more soon but for now I will say it is a beautiful depiction of how grief and love co-exist, and the healing in the depths of some of our greatest pain. #BlackPanther pic.twitter.com/FVNrNdiCJh— Kay-B (@TheLadyKayB) October 27, 2022 ## #BlackPanther #WakandaForever RIPS. An epic, poignant & accomplished sequel that deepens the original’s resonant thematic power & prowess, AND serves as a loving tribute to Chadwick Boseman. Tenoch Huerta give a strong performance. Rihanna’s ballad is tender & sweet. pic.twitter.com/9TqMDbeu7X— My Scary Name *is* Courtney Howard (@Lulamaybelle) October 28, 2022 ## Finally had the honor of watching #BlackPantherWakandaForever. Marvel Studios was never as political as this film, that has action scenes, of course, but much more. For example, probably the MVP, Angela Bassett is assured of an Oscar nomination, if not winning. 👇 pic.twitter.com/OEX4Cz3rhZ— Gabriel Carvalho (@gabirucarvalho) October 27, 2022 ## Stay tuned...
