Box Office: Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' Hits 200 Crores Gross In Tamil Nadu
Chennai, November 4 - Thalapathy Vijay's mega-hit Leo becomes the second film to hit 200 crores gross collection at the Tamil Nadu box office, after Mani Ratnam's "Ponniyin Selvan - 1" last year. ## Lokesh Kanagaraj's directorial movie grossed approximately 198.60 crores until yesterday (16 days) and with today's collection, it will go past the 200 crores mark. Superstar Rajinikanth's "Jailer" is the third highest-grossing movie in the state with over 189 crores. ## "Leo" has been on a dream run since its debut on October 19. The movie has slowed down over the last few days but still has enough gas in it to keep going. The film is now targeting history in Tamil Nadu of becoming the biggest-grosser by crossing "PS-1's" 213 crores gross. ## Produced by Seven Screen Studio, "Leo" has grossed approximately 561 crores at the worldwide box office in 16 days. In India, it has minted approx. 376 crores while overseas collection is an estimated 185 crores so far. ## The latest LCU blockbuster is currently the third highest-grossing Tamil movie of all time, behind "2.0", and "Jailer". It is still approx. 43 crores behind "Jailer", and looking at the current trend, the film is most likely to remain at the third spot. ## Stay tuned...
