Chennai, May 1 - Mani Ratnam's period action drama film Ponniyin Selvan - Part 2 is having another excellent day at the domestic box office with an estimated 25+ crores gross collection in all versions on the card. ## In the 3-day opening weekend, "PS-2" grossed a solid around 173 crores worldwide, including approx. 95 crores domestically. With today's collection, it has crossed the 100 crore gross as well as net mark in India and 200 crore gross worldwide, becoming the 3rd Tamil movie of the year to do so.## "PS-2" has taken 4 days to hit a double century at the worldwide box office while the first part "PS-1", which was released in September last year, took 3 days to get there. The 4-day total of "PS-2" should be around 210 crores (120 crores domestic+90 crores overseas) which was the first three days of collection of "PS-1". ## Despite taking one extra day than its predecessor, "PS-2" is very much on track to breach 400 crores worldwide gross, and with better reviews than "PS-1", it also has a chance to get near to the first part which grossed around 490 crores in its lifetime run. ## "PS-2" wasn't a hugely hyped second part of a movie unlike "Baahubali 2", "KGF 2", and the upcoming "Pushpa 2". Prabhas-Fronted 'Adipurush' Trailer To Be Launched On May 9?

Mumbai, May 1 - Prabhas-fronted Adipurush is one of the most anticipated Indian movies in the making. The film, directed by Om Raut, is the big-screen adaptation of the timeless epic tale Ramayana in which Prabhas plays the role of Lord Ram. ## The movie was supposed to be released in January this year but the release date got postponed due to the delay in the post-production work. Mumbai, May 1 - Hrithik Roshan-fronted Krrish is the most successful film franchise in India. The three films in the series released so far, including Koi... Mil Gaya (2003) have combined grossed around 600 crores worldwide. ## The last film in the franchise, Krrish 3 was released way back in 2013 and since then, the fans have been waiting for the 4th installment to unfold. The makers announced Krrish 4 in 2016 with a release planned for Christmas 2018.## It has been a long time since the movie was announced but it hasn't taken off. The covid-19 pandemic further delayed the plans, but now, it seems the movie is finally moving forward and is getting ready to commence filming in 2024. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, producer and the creator of Krrish, Rakesh Roshan has roped in director Karan Malhotra to helm the fourth installment of the Krrish franchise. Hrithik and Karan had previously worked together in the blockbuster "Agneepath" (2012). ## Rakesh Roshan has locked in the basic plot to take the story forward and is currently working on the screenplay with a team of writers. Karan Malhotra will soon join the team and jointly work with the filmmaker to bring out a visual spectacle to the audience. ## Rakesh Roshan previously said that "Krrish 4" will set new standards for the superhero genre in India. Mumbai, May 1 - Superstar Salman Khan-fronted family action drama film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaaan has crossed the 100 crores net collection. ## Directed by Farhad Samji, KKBKKJ should have entered the 100 crore club in the opening week itself, but due to the poor reviews and mixed word of mouth, the movie couldn't get going after the Eid holiday period. ## The film crossed the 100 crores mark on its 10th day, after scoring approx. 4.35 crores net on its second Sunday. It has become the 3rd Bollywood movie of 2023 to reach this box office milestone after Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" and Ranbir Kapoor's "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar". ## "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan", produced by Salman Khan Films and Zee Studios, is the 106th Bollywood movie of all time and the 16th of Salman Khan to enter the 100 crores club. In its 6th weekend, the Keanu Reeves-fronted flick grossed a solid $15 million worldwide for a total of $402 million global cume. ## Directed by Chad Stahelski, the 4th installment has now grossed $176 million domestically (North America) and $226 million at the overseas box office over 72 international markets. The movie is eying to finish its lifetime box office run of over $430+ million. ## Meanwhile, the 4th installment of the "John Wick" franchise has crossed the 50 crores net mark at the Indian box office after 5 weeks. Chennai, April 30 - Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan - Part 2 is going bonkers at the box office and crossed the 100 crores mark worldwide in just two days.## After taking one of the biggest domestic openings for an Indian movie in 2023 with around 28.50 crores gross, PS-2 showed an upward trend on the second day by scoring around a 10% jump for 31 crores gross collection, pushing total gross collection to approx 59.50 crores. ## Overseas, the epic historical action drama film is also super solid with a collection of around 50 crores (estimated) in two days. This takes the total worldwide cume of PS-2 to approx 110 crores in all versions, making it the third highest-grossing Tamil film of 2023. ## The first part of "Ponniyin Selvan", which was released in September 2022, had also crossed the 100 crores mark in two days but was quicker to reach there in terms of time taken. It went on to gross approx 490 crores worldwide and was the third highest-grossing Indian film of the year. ## The critics' reviews and audiences' word of mouth are stronger for "PS-2" than the first part.
