Los Angeles, April 23 - Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is just around the corner and the initial reactions from the critics suggest that fans should prepare themselves for the emotional ride. ## It is the last film of director James Gunn in the blockbuster trilogy which he first introduced in 2014. Sivakarthikeyan's 'Maaveeran' Gets A Release Date

Chennai, April 22 - Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan's Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie Maaveeran/Mahaveerudu with "Mandela" director Madonne Ashwin has been confirmed to hit theaters on August 11, 2023. ## The makers announced the release date with a video that features behind-the-scene vignettes from the making of the movie. The film's Telugu title is Mahaveerudu. It is produced by Arun Viswa under Shanthi Talkies. ## Sivakarthikeyan has already wrapped up filming his portions for "Maaveeran", in which he reportedly essays the role of a cartoonist and will be seen performing some high-level action sequences in the film. Despite getting mixed word of mouth, the fans are flocking to cinemas in large numbers. ## The movie is overall showing nearly 70% growth from the opening day box office collection of approx. 13 crores net. The three national chains are having around 60% growth from yesterday, as of 3 PM. Mumbai, April 22 - The sequel to F9 and the eleventh full-length film in the Fast & Furious franchise, Fast X is gearing up for its release on May 19 this year. ## Directed by Louis Leterrier, "Fast X" serves as the penultimate main installment in the franchise as Dominic Toretto and his family are getting ready for the last hurray. Over the last two decades, "Fast & Furious" has left a huge mark on worldwide audiences with the high-octane adrenaline-pumping actioners. ## It has been one of the most successful Hollywood film franchises with over $6.6 billion worldwide box office across the previous 10 films. Domestically (North America), the franchise has generated $1.86 billion with "Furious 7" (2015) being the highest-grossing film with $353 million domestically and $1.51 billion worldwide. ## The last film in the series "F9: The Fast Saga" (2021) grossed $726 million worldwide, including $173 million domestically during the covid-19 pandemic. There was a time when two-hero films used to be the norm, especially in Bollywood, but the trend died down in the last 15-20 years. ## Post the covid-19 pandemic, the chatter about making two-hero films has been peaking pace as most people feel that this is the need of the hour for the betterment of the industry. Recently, Salman Khan played a vital cameo in Shah Rukh Khan-fronted "Pathaan" which also stars John Abraham. ## The cameo of Salman was a major highlight and played a big role in "Pathaan's" box office success. The two heroes will now be sharing equal screen time in "Tiger Vs. Pathaan" which begins next year and before that, SRK will be seen playing a cameo in Salman's "Tiger 3" which releases on Diwali this year. ## Salman Khan seems to be a big supporter of two-hero films and he has also advised younger actors to follow this path. During a recent interview while promoting KKBKKJ, he said that whenever he faced a lull and gave a string of flops, he had no problem sharing screen space with the actors like Jackie Shroff, Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, etc.## The "Tiger" actor further said that if an actor feels insecure about doing two-hero films, it's quite foolish. Salman added that some actors don't want to do two-hero films as they fear that their role might get reduced if the other actor is close to the producer or director. ## However, he assured the younger actors that such things never happen as everyone works for the betterment of the film. Salman also emphasized that multi-starrers also result in bigger box office collections. Hence, he advised them to not fear multi-starrers and that they should embrace this trend for their own benefit. ## Interestingly, we are already seeing top actors coming together, be it Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR in "War 2" or Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" and more such collaborations are bound to happen in the near future. ##

Hyderabad, April 20 - Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's highly anticipated action drama film Pushpa - The Rule is getting bigger and bigger with each passing day. The makers recently released a teaser that received a blockbuster response and has crossed 100 million views. ## Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 is currently on floors and will be released in the summer of 2024. Meanwhile, the makers have roped in Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu to play an important role. The actor has himself confirmed the development during an interview with Pinkvilla for the promotions of Salman Khan's "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan". ## Jagapathi Babu, who previously worked in director Sukumar's "Rangasthalam" (2018), is super excited to reunite with the filmmaker as he believes Sukumar gives challenging roles to him and he loves doing challenging roles. He said that he loved the first part of Pushpa and is looking forward to contributing to the second part.## The actor refused to share details about his role in Pushpa 2 but said that "It's very exciting for me. I have always looked up to Allu Arjun. I remember, 20 years back, I saw him in a common gym, not knowing who he was. I just noticed him do all the stuff so well.
