Salman Khan's 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' Theatrical Run Time Revealed

Mumbai, April 15 - Superstar Salman Khan is busy with the promotion of his much-awaited family action drama film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan which is scheduled to release on April 21. Directed by Farhad Samji, the movie also stars Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, and Jagapathi Babu, among others in key roles. ## Meanwhile, the film has reportedly been certified with a "U/A" certificate with a crisp theatrical run time of approx. 2 hours and 25 minutes or 145 minutes. The runtime is on the expected lines of these types of films. KKBKKJ is said to be the remake of the Tamil movie "Veeram" which was 155 minutes long. ## It is the first theatrical release of Salman Khan in more than 3 years in the full-fledged role. His "Radhe" was a direct-to-digital release while "Antim" featured him in an extended cameo role. Salman also played a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan-fronted "Pathaan" which was released in January this year. ## KKBKKJ is about Bhaijaan (Salman Khan), who is an honest man and lives happily with his brothers. He uses violence to settle disputes with anyone but decides to mend his ways for his Telugu-based girlfriend Bhagya (Pooja Hegde). Jio Studios To Produce Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' Films Along With Its Spin-Offs

Mumbai, April 15 - A few days ago, blockbuster director Ayan Mukerji announced on social media that the second and third parts of his Astra Verse Brahmastra trilogy would be released in 2026 and 2027 respectively, and that he is currently working on the script. ## Soon after the filmmaker announced development on the films, it was reported that Karan Johar's Dharma Productions has backed out from bankrolling the films over some issues. And now, according to Pinkvilla, Dinesy has also taken a back seat, instead, talks are in the final stage with Jio Studios to come on board as the leading producer. ## "Disney is in the mode of restructuring their content strategy in India. After several meetings over the last few months, Disney has decided to take a back seat from the Brahmastra franchise", reports Pinkvilla, adding that Disney is ready to sell the complete IP of the Brahmastra franchise to Ayan, who is already a part owner. ## Brahmastra has been a franchise dear to Ayan who has spent years bringing it to the big screen. He doesn't want let to go and has decided to make it with Jio Studios which is already high with the announcement of over 100 movies and shows for the next few years.## It is said that not just for the next two Brahmastra films, Ayan along with his hero Ranbir Kapoor, is also in advance talks with Jio Studios for the spin-offs from the franchise for streaming and the big screen. "Ayan has plans to make Brahmastra Part 2: Dev and Brahmastra Part 3: Shiva v/s Dev for Jio Studios, which are the tentpole attraction of the deal". ## "Apart from the two pioneers, he will be making spin-offs on other characters of the Brahmastra in the format of web series, and independent feature films. The spin-offs for characters include Nandi Astra, Pawan Astra, and Gaj Astra for digital, whereas Jal Astra is expected to be made for the big screen. ## Going forward, if the deal comes to fruition, the Brahmastra franchise will be produced by Jio Studios with Starlight Pictures and Mukerji's Astra Verse. Meanwhile, before starting Brahmastra (mostly in 2025), Ayan will be directing Yash Raj Films' War 2 featuring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR. To date, the animated adventure has earned $260.3 million domestically (North America) and $248.4 million internationally, for a total worldwide cume of $508.7 million.## Co-directed by Aaron Horvath, and Michael Jelenic, Super Mario has now become the highest-grossing film of 2023, surpassing Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania's $475 million at the global box office in just 9 days. ## More importantly, "The Super Mario Bros. Mumbai, April 14 - Last year, it was reported that Ayushmann Khurrana and Samantha Ruth Prabhu would be sharing screen space for the first time in producer Dinesh Vijan's next horror-comedy film. ## The reports also stated that Ayushmann will feature in the role of a vampire while Samantha will play a princess. Now, the latest reports have revealed that the movie is titled Vampires of Vijay Nagar and it will go on floors by the end of this year or early 2024 under the direction of Amar Kaushik. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, "The shooting timelines are not yet decided as there are still many permutations and combinations to be worked out. However, the movie is unquestionably going to be made, and Maddock Films will make an official announcement soon. The film has been titled 'Vampires of Vijay Nagar' and will be helmed by Amar Kaushik. The director will get into this project after finishing Stree 2, which goes into production around June this year".## "Vampires of Vijay Nagar" will be a part of Vijan's proposed horror-comedy universe and will be the fifth standalone film in this series which kicked off with Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's "Stree" in 2018, followed by Janhvi Kapoor's "Roohi", Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon's "Bhediya", and soon to release "Munjha" starring Sharvari Wagh. ## The horror-comedy universe will start interconnecting from "Stree 2" which will release on August 31, 2024. Mumbai, April 14 - Director Farhad Samji, who is gearing up for the release of the much-awaited Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, has been at the center of social media negativity regarding his future films. ## In February this year, it came to light that Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal would be reuniting for the 3rd installment of the much loved Hera Pheri and they even shot an announcement video for the same. ## It was also reported that Farhad Samji would be directing the film, and soon after it was revealed, the fans of Akshay Kumar started a negative trend "Remove Farhad Samji from Hera Pheri 3" as they didn't want him to direct such a huge film. ## A section of the film industry supported the trend and pointed out how it's justified to blame Samji entirely if a certain film or series of him didn't meet the expectations. The critisism grew after Samji's web series, "Pop Kaun" met with disaster response. ## The filmmaker finally breaks silence on the trend and spoke to Bollywood Hungama. "Firstly, when the film has not even been officially announced, toh kaun hai yeh log? We try our best. If anyone has any problem, then we'll try to rectify it by making better movies and by writing better punches. Our intention is to appeal to audiences of all kinds and provide them with a film that has a combination of romance, masala, action, comedy etc".## "God has been very kind right from my writing days, and it continues as I turned director. Housefull 4 (2019) is the biggest hit of Akshay Kumar. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is such a huge success if we take into account the ROI. Ab iske aage kya bolne ka?", he added.## There hasn't been officially confirmed yet whether Samji will direct the film as many reports stated that he only directed promo and might not helm the film. Bengaluru, April 14 - Hombale Films, the studio behind one of the biggest blockbusters of the Indian cinema KGF: Chapter 2, has given a major hint for the film's third installment and in which timeline it will be set up. ## Hombale Films released a video celebrating the first anniversary of the Yash-fronted monster blockbuster. The video shared on social media features some of the biggest goosebumps moments from KGF: Chapter 2. At once, the video looked like the highlight of the film, but suddenly it gets interesting with a hint of 3rd film. ## At one point in the video, after Govinde Gowda, a peon at 24/News, urged Vijayendra Ingalagi (Prakash Raj) to preach only about incidents that were written in the book, the scenes from Rocky's death to finishing his enemies started getting reversed. ## We also know the KGF: Chapter 2 has left a time gap of 4 years (during which Rocky did many crimes in different countries) which many assumed to be the core plot of KGF: Chapter 3. Going by the video and the way the scenes were reversed, it is clear that the 3rd Chapter will be the prequel to Chapter 2. ## At the end of the video, the tagline "That promise will be kept", but "Was the promise kept?" leaves so many hints and confirms that there was so much in the story to explore which will be shown in the next film. It also means Yash will return as Rocky Bhai along with other characters and new ones. ## The makers recently revealed that KGF: Chapter 3 could start in 2025 and be released in 2026. Director Prashanth Neel is currently busy with Prabhas-fronted "Salaar", produced by Hombale Films. He will next direct Jr. NTR. Mumbai, April 13 - The sequel to Sunny Kaushal, and Radhika Madan-fronted romantic drama Shiddat is reportedly in development with Parineeti Chopra as the leading lady opposite Kaushal. ## Directed by Kunal Deshmukh, Shiddat was released in October 2021 on Disney+Hotstar and got an appreciation for its story, songs, and performances. The film was well-received the sequel was imminent which has now been announced. ## Shiddat 2 will be produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and T-Series in association with Jio Studios and it will be released in 2024. Los Angeles, April 13 - Marvel Studios' next blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy 3 hitting theaters in less than a month. The highly-anticipated flick marks the finale of filmmaker James Gunn's trilogy and it will be the last Marvel movie for Gunn who is now the co-head at DC Studio.## Ahead of the release, the early box office projection for the film has been revealed and there are not as big as fans would have thought. This might also be because the previous Marvel movies weren't up to the standard the studio has set over the years and has been the most successful in terms of box office earnings in the world.## According to Box Office Pro, GoTG3 is projected to take a $120 million - $155 million in its domestic (North America) opening weekend and the lifetime domestic gross is expected to finish between $288 million - $403 million. ## As of now, the movie is poised to open (if opens to a lower projection) below Guardians of the Galaxy 2 which took the opening of $146.5 million and finished its run at $389 million domestically. The first Guardians film banked $94.3 million domestically in its first weekend and $333.7 million by the end of its run. ## GoTG3 will be the second Marvel release in 2023 after Ant-Man 3 which opened to a solid $106 million over the three-day weekend but failed to build upon this opening and will finish below $220 million. Mumbai, April 13 - Kartik Aaryan has denied the reports of featuring in a romantic comedy film Bhul Chuk Maaf with Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead. ## It was reported by leading media houses, including ANI yesterday night that Kartik and Shraddha would be headlining Maddock Films and Jio Studios' rom-com under the direction of Maharani series fame Karan Sharma. ## However, a few hours after the news about the movie spread like a wildfire, the actor took to Twitter and announced that he is not doing this film. Digital Release Dates of Vikram Vedha and Bhediya Revealed

Mumbai, May 6 - Two of the biggest Bollywood films of 2022, Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan's Vikram Vedha and Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon's Bhediya have been waiting for their digital release.## Directed by Pushkar-Gayatri, Vikram Vedha was released theatrically on September 29. It was the hotly anticipated film, however, changing dynamics of theatrical business post the covid-19 pandemic made sure the movie underperformed at the box office though it still managed to gross close to 140 crores worldwide. ## Bhediya, part of Dinesh Vijan's horror-comedy universe, too underperformed at the box office, mainly because of the multiple top choices that were available at that time in theaters. It was released on November 25 and grossed a little less than 100 crores worldwide. ## Nonetheless, both the aforementioned films got mixed to positive reviews which could help them to draw some viewership on OTT. However, it has been a long wait and fans have been inquiring about the digital release dates of the two films. The official confirmation hasn't been made yet but both movies will be streaming on the new revamped Jio Cinema platform. ## According to reports, Vikram Vedha will make its digital debut on May 12 while Bhediya will start streaming on May 26, 2023. It is also reported that both films will be available to watch for free without any paid subscriptions. ## Meanwhile, Jio Studios has a massive slate of theatrical tentpoles and web shows in development.
