NTR 30: NTR's Next With Koratala Siva To Start Filming In February 2023

Hyderabad, December 10 - After the blockbuster release of RRR, the fans of Jr. NTR have been waiting for his next film. The superstar teamed up with Koratala Siva for his next, tentatively titled NTR 30, and it was supposed to start production in the summer of 2022.## The pre-production of NTR 30 has been going on for quite some time now, however, the debacle result of Siva's last directorial, "Acharya" made him extra cautious as he wanted to be fully sure with the script of NTR's film before kickstarting the shoot. It was recently when he locked the final script and even started music sitting with Anirudh. ## Now, according to the latest reports, NTR 30 will officially be launched in January while the regular shoot will kickstart in February 2023. The makers are also on the verge of locking the female lead in the film, and reportedly, a young Bollywood actress is the front-runner to grab the role in the Pan India movie. ## NTR 30 will be produced by NTR Arts, Yuvasudha Arts, and MSK Films. The movie will be shot over a span of 5 to 6 months and get ready for a late 2023 or early 2024 release in multiple languages, including Hindi. Los Angeles, December 10 - The first trailer of the 7th installment in the Transformers film series, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts was launched last week and it has become one of the most viewed trailers of all time. ## Directed by Steven Caple Jr., the trailer of this science fiction action film garnered a whopping 494 million views globally, cross-platform in the first week. The viewership numbers include 238 million on day one alone, which is the highest ever in Paramount Pictures' history. ## The 238 million views in the first 24 hours are the 4th highest-ever after the "Avengers: Endgame" trailer (268 million), the first "Avengers: Endgame" trailer (289 million), and the first trailer to Sony's "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (355.5 million).## According to The Wrap, the trailer has been shared nearly 400,000 times to date, while the official TikTok post of the trailer from the ParamountPics TikTok account is the most-shared published in the calendar year 2022 by any studio-wide or film-specific TikTok account.## The film will center around three factions of Transformers tied to Earth's past. Mumbai, December 10 - James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water is less than a week to go before its long-awaited blockbuster release. ## As reported earlier, "Avatar 2" will need to score, at least, $2 billion at the global box office to turn a profit and for that, the movie will need key international markets to come into the game and one of them will be China.## China is the biggest movie market in the world and when it announced the release date of "Avatar 2", which is December 16, it came as a major relief for Disney which was finding it tough to get its movies released in the country. ## "Avatar 2" is tracking a mammoth opening in China. The movie is having a super solid advance booking for the weekend and has already crossed $20 million (till December 13) with 3 days still to go for the release. As per the projection, the sequel is tracking a $185 million - $205 million start in China, which is higher than the opening weekend projection in the domestic market. ## The first "Avatar" movie, which was released in 2009, grossed $202 million in its lifetime run in China (not counting re-release numbers of 2021). "Avatar 2" has a shot to outgross its predecessor's collection in China in the opening weekend itself. ## Meanwhile, the sci-fi epic, which is 3 hours 12 minute-long, has been projected to score $175 million in the opening weekend in the domestic (North America) market. The suspense thriller is nearing 300 crores at the worldwide box office, which will make it the 3rd Bollywood movie post the covid-19 pandemic to achieve the milestone. ## Meanwhile, at the time of writing this piece, the Abhishek Pathak's directorial has crossed the 200 crores net mark and becomes only the 3rd Bollywood film since Devgn's "Tanhaji" (2020) to reach the milestone. The planned trilogy has been in the pre-production work for a long time and makers are taking enough time in the research work, thus the filming is getting delayed. ## The pre-production work of "Ramayana" has moved rapidly over the last few months and the makers are making sure it goes on floors sooner than later. Madhu Mantena, who has produced films like Udta Punjab, Ghajini, and Super 30, is one of the producers of this magnum opus along with Allu Arvind and Namit Malhotra. ## During a recent interview with Pinkvilla (via TOI), Madhu Mantena revealed that the script of the film will be completed in the next couple of months after detailed research and groundwork on the screenplay and story over the past few years, and if all goes as per plan, the filming will start from September 2023. ## "After intense research and groundwork for the last few years on the screenplay and story, the script will be ready in a couple of months. The story needs that amount of research and effort. We are aiming to start shooting from September 2023", Mantena said. ## The star cast of the movie is yet to be made official but multiple reports in the past have stated that Ranbir Kapoor will play Ram while Hrithik Roshan has been attached to play Raavan and Sai Pallavi will be essaying the role of Sita. He has done rom-com and biopics in his more than a decade-old career and had excelled in the roles with perfection. However, despite being a talent powerhouse, Ranbir's success graph isn't high as compared to his contemporaries. ## During an interview with Variety at the Red Sea Film Festival, Ranbir opened up about some of his films that underperformed at the box office, including the one which really hurts him the most as he thinks it was his passion project. ## The musical adventure fantasy comedy "Jagga Jasoos", directed by Anurag Basu, was released in 2017 and won several awards nominations for the novel concept. However, the movie did underperform at the box office and was declared a box office flop against the high budget. Ranbir said that it was his passion project and it really hurts him to see it didn't do well at the box office. ## "It was really a very heartwarming sweet idea about a stammering detective, a singing detective, but it didn't do well. I think that's the only thing in my career that really hurt me", the "Shamshera" actor said. ## Ranbir was last seen in the recently released "Brahmastra Part One: Shiva", which grossed over 430 crores worldwide and is also doing well on digital platforms. Going forward, he will be seen in Luv Ranjan's rom-com, co-starring Shraddha Kapoor, and this could be his last rom-com as he aims to do larger-than-life films in the future. The actress, who made her debut with the Kannada movie " Kirik Party" (2016) wasn't keen on uttering the name of the production house that gave her her first acting opportunity, in one of the recent interviews.## Rashmika's alleged negligence toward Kannada cinema led to an uproar and there were reports that Kannada production and distribution houses have decided to ban Rashmika and her films in Karnataka state, however, the same wasn't made official. ## Now, the "Pushpa" actress has reacted to the rumors and said that there is no truth about her ban in Kannada. She has always been one of the least-loved actresses from the very beginning of her career, but Rashmika said that people are overreacting to her about her personal life. ## "What happens in my personal life remains with me and those connected with me. During Kantara's release, a few people overreacted unnecessarily to me. But I didn't take it seriously. I even messaged Kantara's cast and crew to congratulate them on the success. James Gunn Responds To 'Wonder Woman 3' Cancellation And Other DC Movies' Changes

Los Angeles, December 9 - Filmmaker James Gunn, the new DC Studios co-head, has responded to the chaotic reports about the cancellation of Gal Gadot's "Wonder Woman 3", and other DC movie changes, as far as the future of DC is concerned. ## It was reported yesterday by The Hollywood Reporter that Warner Bros., under the leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran, is not moving ahead with the next Wonder Woman movie as the studio was not happy with the script presented by Patty Jenkins. ## Apart from the "Woman Women 3" news, it was also reported that the newly announced Henry Cavill may or may not reprise Superman while the upcoming "Aquaman 2" may be the swan song for Jason Momoa as the studio is not willing to take the franchise forward. ## Responding to the reports, James Gunn took to Twitter and said that "some of it is true, some of it half-true, some of it is not true, and some of it we haven't decided yet whether it's true or not". Gunn and Safran have been appointed to shape up the next 8-10 years of DC studio and the former said that it will take some time to build the franchise. ## As far as "Wonder Woman 3" is concerned, Deadline reports that writer-director Jenkins was given another chance to re-develop the story as the top Warner Bros. motion pictures brass were concerned about character arcs and payoffs, and the threequel emulating similar structural problems ala "Wonder Woman 1984", but Jenkins wasn't ready. The studio, however, still wants Gal Gadot to play Wonder Woman, but it is not yet sure she would do it without Jenkins at the helm.## Gunn continues and said that there will be hard steps taken, and by doing this, they will not able to please everyone. He says "Peter & I chose to helm DC Studios knowing we were coming into a fractious environment, both in the stories being told & in the audience itself & there would be an unavoidable transitional period as we moved into telling a cohesive story across film, TV, animation, and gaming".## "We know we are not going to make every single person happy every step of the way, but we can promise everything we do is done in the service of the STORY & in the service of the DC CHARACTERS we know you cherish and we have cherished our whole lives", Gunn says.## The filmmaker goes on to say that all the DC characters and their stories will be given enough time and attention they deserve. "As for more answers about the future of the DCU, I will sadly have to ask you to wait. She revealed that in Bollywood, she used to get only 10% of what her male co-stars got to star in a movie.## "I've never had pay parity in Bollywood. I would get paid about 10% of the salary of my male co-actor", the actress said. "It [the pay gap] is large, substantially large. And so many women still deal with that. I'm sure I will too if I worked with a male co-actor now in Bollywood". ## Priyanka, who has worked in over 60 Bollywood movies, also revealed that she had also faced sexism and body shaming while working on Bollywood productions. "I thought it was absolutely ok to sit for hours and hours on set, while my male co-actor just took his own time, and decided whenever he wanted to show up on set is when we would shoot".## "I was called 'black cat' and 'dusky'. I mean, what does 'dusky' even mean in a country where we are literally all brown?" Chopra Jonas continued.
