Mumbai, December 2 - Marvel Studios' next big ticket entertainer, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 has confirmed its release date in India. The superhero flick, directed by James Gunn, will be hitting Indian theaters on 5 May 2023 in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.## It is intended to be the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) and the 32nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The festival has partnered with Variety for two new awards and one of them will be given to Ranbir. ## Ranbir Kapoor has emerged as one of the actors who has received critical as well as commercial success over a decade or so. Ranbir's work in Imtiaz Ali's "Rockstar" and Anurag Basu's "Barfi!" has been hailed as two of the finest performances ever in Bollywood cinema. ## The "Sanju" actor was last seen in Ayan Mukerji's "Brahmastra" which introduced him to new audiences outside India and earned him a big fan following, and with Parts Two and Three of "Brahmastra" already lined up, Kapoor looks to remain a fixture on international screens for years to come. ## "Any film, any good compelling story, made in your culture, in an authentic way, in a true form, will connect to a large audience", Kapoor told Variety. Ram Charan Stresses On Not Doing A Lot of Remakes

Hyderabad, November 30 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan is not keen on doing a lot of remakes as he thinks that due to OTT platforms, the recall value of remakes has dropped. It has been seen in the recent box office performances where except for a couple of movies, remakes have failed badly across languages.## Ram Charan, who is currently shooting for director Shankar's political thriller film, recently produced "Godfather", starring Chiranjeevi. It was the remake of Mohanlal's Malayalam movie "Lucifer". The movie did decent business of little over 100 crores worldwide but that is mainly because of the star power of Chiranjeevi. ## "Godfather" was expected to do very well but because its dubbed version is already available on OTT, the movie couldn't give rich rewards to the makers. Ram Charan said during a recent interview that he is not keen on doing remakes and if he does, he would make sure that the original movie is not available in dubbed versions.## "I'm not sure I'd continue doing a lot of remakes. If I did a remake, I'd probably ask the original's producer not to release it on OTT. I might do a remake under those conditions. Otherwise, we'd all prefer to do original scripts in the future", he said.## Ram Charan, who headlined the multistarrer "RRR" directed by SS Rajamouli, recently confirmed his next film after Shankar's "RC15". Mumbai, November 29 - The highly-awaited Tamil action drama film Varisu, starring Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna is getting ready to release in theaters on Pongal 2023. The movie was announced to release simultaneously in Telugu as Vaarasudu. ## Now, according to the latest confirmed reports, the Vamshi Paidipally directorial will also get a Hindi release. It is said that the T-Series, which already has musical rights to it, has acquired the Hindi distribution rights of the movie in association with Sri Venkateswara Creations and Manish Shah. ## The title of the movie in Hindi is reportedly Vaaris and the Hindi version will have a day and date release with Tamil and Telugu versions on January 12, 2023. 'Avatar: The Way of Water' Advance Booking Off To Very Good Start In India

Mumbai, November 29 - James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water is the next big thing as far as the worldwide box office is concerned. Coming 13 years after the first "Avatar" movie, released in 2009, "Avatar 2" is one of the most-anticipated films in India and the same can be seen in the advance sales. ## The advance booking of this sci-fi epic was opened nearly a week ago in India in premium formats in limited theaters. The full-fledged advance is yet to open, but the response to the limited opening is excellent despite the ticket prices being as high as 2000 per ticket in some locations. ## The English 3D format has so far sold approx. 1.06 lakh tickets in India, while the English IMAX 3D format has sold around 14K tickets, the 4DX 3D format has sold approx. 6K tickets and Hindi 3D has managed to sell around 18.5K tickets so far. The total number of tickets for the opening day sold so far is around 1.90 lakh in all properties, worth approx. 7 crores. ## "Avatar 2" is scheduled to release on December 16, so there are still 17 days left. The response in advance sales to the movie is already very good and once the full-fledged advance opens, it is expected to get bumper numbers before exploding at the box office. Mumbai, November 29 - Yash Raj Films is gearing up for one of its biggest releases of 2023, Pathaan starring Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the spy action thriller also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in prominent roles.## Meanwhile, with just two months to the big release, YRF is planning an out-of-the-promotion strategy for the movie. It is said that the makers are not in the mood to reveal much about the plot details of the movie too early, hence, not in hurry to release the trailer anytime soon. ## According to Pinkvilla, the "Pathaan" promotion will kick-start with songs and two of them will be released in the month of December, and the report says that both songs are so incredible that they are potential chartbuster anthems of the year. The theatrical trailer will be released in January 2023, probably three weeks before the movie arrives on January 25 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.## The movie is part of YRF's spy universe and it will have a cameo of Salman Khan's Tiger.
