Los Angeles, November 21 - The moment movie lovers across the globe have been waiting for is just a few weeks away as Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are now in the final stage of preparation to release "Spider-Man: No Way Home". Arguably the biggest solo superhero movie ever made, "No Way Home" is scheduled to debut in theaters on December 17 in North America and in some of the international markets. ## While the previous Spider-Man movies were highly successful, the upcoming flick is touted to be the next level of cinematic experience. Box Office: James Bond 'No Time To Die' Overtakes 'F9' To Become Highest-Grossing Non-Chinese Film Of Pandemic Era

Los Angeles, November 21 - Daniel Craig's final outing as James Bond, "No Time To Die", is now the highest-grossing non-Chinese film at the worldwide box office. MGM/Eon/Universal's 25th Bond film, crossed "Fast & Furious 9" ($722 million WW) over the weekend for its total global box office collection of $733 million. ## Through last Sunday, "No Time To Die" became only the second Hollywood title to reach $700 million globally and the biggest Hollywood movie overseas in 2021, topped "F9". In total to date, the spy thriller has an estimated gross of $154M domestic and $579M at the international box office.## No Time to Die is released internationally by Universal and domestically through MGM's United Artists Releasing banner. The Cary Joji Fukunaga-directed opened in most overseas markets in September before it debuted in North America on October 8. Overall throughout its run, it scored the biggest pandemic opening weekend in 36 markets.## The United Kingdom is leading the overseas chart for "No Time To Die", grossing £95.2M or $128 million. It beats James Bond's "Spectre" to become the UK's 3rd highest-grossing film of all time. In China, the movie currently stands at $60.4 million after grossing half a million on Saturday there while in Australia, where it opened 9 days ago, grossed $13 million so far. ## Overall, "No Time To Die" is the third highest-grossing film of the pandemic era worldwide. China's "The Battle at Lake Changjin" ($882 million), and "Hi, Mom" ($822 million) are the two best performing films at the moment. ## Michael De Luca, Chairman of MGM's film group, and Pamela Abdy, MGM Film Group President, said (via Deadline), "We are so thrilled to see audiences returning to theaters across the world and for their ongoing support of the theatrical experience. Mumbai, November 20 - Actor Allu Arjun's upcoming action thriller "Pushpa - The Rise" is all set to hit the big screen on December 17, all over India. It will be AA's first film to have a pan India release.## While "Pushpa" was already confirmed to release in dubbed versions of Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, there was a question mark over the "Pushpa" Hindi theatrical release due to some issues with the Hindi distributor. However, all the issues have been settled now and the Hindi version of this much-awaited film will be released by AAFilms, which will also release Yash-starrer "K.G.F: Chapter 2" in North India with Excel Entertainment. ## Despite the issues with the distributor, the makers of "Pushpa" have been (kept) promoting the film in Hindi by releasing songs and posters. Mumbai, November 20 - Yash Raj Productions' "Bunty Aur Babli 2" has had a poor opening at the box office. A sequel to the 2005's film netted just Rs. 2.60 crores [3.05 crore gross on Friday (November 19). ## Starring Saif Ali Khan, and Rani Mukerji reprising their roles from the original film alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Sharvari Wagh as a new edition, the comedy, however, was expected to open in the range of 4-5 crores, but negative reviews and word of mouth dent its chances big time. ## Overseas, Varun V. Sharma-directed grossed approx Rs. 1.25 crores, for its total worldwide gross to a decent Rs. 4.30 crores on the first day. However, the poor show of YRF's film helped "Sooryavasnhi", which is going super strong at the box office, to regain the momentum at the Indian box office. The Akshay Kumar-starrer jumped 3.16% on its 3rd Friday for Rs. 3.26 crores. This takes "Sooryavanshi's" total India net collection to a nice Rs. 169.50 crores after 15 days. ## At the worldwide box office, Rohit Shetty-directed has grossed Rs. 254 crores so far, including Rs. 54 in overseas markets. With "Bunty Aur Babli 2" is not looking to challenge much, "Sooryavanshi" eyes to earn approx Rs. 12 crores during its 3rd weekend. It is currently Akshay's 5th highest-grossing film at the India box office. The comedy-drama was supposed to release on Valentines Day next year, however, due to the long post-production requirement, the makers postponed the release by two months. ## Directed by Advait Chandan, "Lal Singh Chaddha" is an adaptation of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself is based on Winston Groom's 1986 novel of the same name. After finishing the first week on high, the cop-drama maintained the stronghold in the second week as well with a drop of 62% (on par with the pre-covid level) for Rs. 45.57 crores. ## Directed by hit master Rohit Shetty, "Sooryavanshi" currently stands at Rs. 166.23 crores net and Rs. 196.15 crore gross in India. Overseas, it has grossed Rs. 53 crores so far, for its total worldwide gross of Rs. 249.15 crores. It will cross Rs. 250 crore gross on its third Friday at the worldwide box office. ## While "Sooryavanshi" has paved the way for upcoming Bollywood biggies, Rs. 200 crore India net will be a landmark foot if it is able to achieve.
